My phone was stuck on verifying package for over 10 minutes in recovery and didn't proceed further. Did anyone else faced the issue?

Might be that the file you downloaded, hasn't been saved properly, try downloading again. If this is not the case, make sure that you're on LMY48M

Are you doing from a PC? Then make sure the drivers are proper, but better I suggest is to do the way I told without a PC, see the OP for instructions.

I've tried applying the update with ur method. But it's not working

Don't know, as my phone was pure stock running build LMY48M without any modifications. Try unrooting and flash this zip.

Try matching the MD5 of the file you downloaded with the one I posted in the OP. And are you having the stock recovery?

Something you might be doing wrong, what kind of error were you getting by my method? And did you do any kind of modifications to your phone? Are you having the stock recovery too?

I've unrooted my phone few days ago.

Google released Android Marshmallow for Nexus devices just a few hours ago and now it's time for Android One!
One of the first member is our Canvas A1, see if you get a notification regarding the OTA update.
If you are eager to try it and don't want to wait for the update, then the OTA zip file has been captured and available for download!

Hi All,
I was able to update my Canvas A1 to Android 6.0 using OTA file, as many user have posted, i was stuck at verifying package for long time, I removed battery and retried and the second time the phone was updated :good::good::good::good::good:

thanks for providing the link
Thank you for providing this link... successfully installed and working perfectly.... But installation takes 25-30 minutes:angel:

if u guys didn't get the update. go to settings->Apps->All-> open google service framework and thn forcestop, disable and thn clear data. aftr thn enable it. now go to system updates in about phone. and check it will work. it worked for me.

Can not update
Unrooted phone by flashing lollipop rom and reset my phone.
Tried to update via stock recovery but failed.
Failed with that error 7 , sildeload.zip error. Attaching an image. Please give a solution.

My build no. Should be LMY48M. How should ii chage it?

Alright. I learnt that i was not up to date with OTA updates so i don't have LMY48M. Hmmm need to flash TWRP again to flash some updates. Working on it.

Try it if you can flash the Marshmallow-OTA using TWRP (provided you have LMY48M already), if not happening then restore back to whichever build of lollipop you have, check for OTA and you'll atleast get an OTA for LMY48M as it was rolled out few days ago so everyone should get it, then flash the zip provided in the OP with the instructions I gave

Still can not up date
I flashed all OTAs on my phone and now my build version is LMY48M .
Even though it still gives that error saying i have LMY48K. Yes i checked many times but no clue. Stock and custom both recoveries gives same error .

You do not have updated stock recovery. U have recovery of LMY48K, either use TWRP if using custom recovery, else search XDA if you get the recovery that came with LMY48M. If still no luck then I suggest you wait till someone provides a flashable zip like any custom rom

Tried twrp old and new. Same errors. Can you provide me the recovery that you tried?
I'm really tired of this errors.

I have been able to update successfully

Xposed Framework Results to Bootloop on Asus Zenfone 2 ZE550ML

After updating Zenfone 2 ZE550ML to the latest firmware version Z008_WW_2.20.40.130 I rooted my phone and everything went fine with normal boot.. But after that I tried installing xposed framework.bat file which rebooted my phone and then resulting in a bootloop..Tried to remove xposed framework but still stuck in the bootloop. So had to flash an older firmware and recovery and then updated to th latest version via OTA update..It used to work perfectly on firmware version Z008_WW_2.20.40.88 without any bootloop. I enabled usb debugging and everything that needs to be done but no luck.
Is there any other way to install xposed framework on my current firmware 2.20.40.130 without bootloop ?? Please assist.
I have a same error
Asus has released security patch at 01 Nov 2015. So I think Xposed need to update

Which version works? I've tried xposed-v78-sdk23-x86.zip with no luck, still getting bootloop, and I've reflashed firmware 3 times.
Nevermind, this morning I tried install xposed-v78-sdk21-x86.zip and it works, so I think rovo89 makes 3 variants for different OS. I assume:
- [5.0 only] Bootloop on ROMs where the vendor has merged a recent security fix from 5.1 (sdk21)
- [5.0/5.1 only] Backports of a few changes on Xposed that I had initially done for 6.0 (sdk22)
- [6.0 only] Fix XModuleResources.createInstance() API method (sdk23)

Installing latest security updates without upgrading to Android 7.1.2

Hello, I don't want to upgrade to Android 7.1.2, but I want the latest (April) security update for Android 7.1.1.
Is this possible without root?
Otherwise it's a shame.

Google still provides 7.1.1 with the latest security updates. If you want to go the OTA route that doesn't require wiping data, follow the directions at the top of the page in the first link.

Honor 8 Pro C636 Oreo Beta

hi i have updated to oreo beta DUK-L09 8.0.0.321 (C636log) from the files listed in firmware finder.
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G2321/g1699/v110206/f1/full/update.zip
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/...06/f1/full/public/update_data_full_public.zip
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/...hw_spcseas/update_full_DUK-L09_hw_spcseas.zip
Now I want to downgrade back to nougat.
I saw another C636 file which looks like the rollback package, "This update will roll back your phone's operating system to Android 7.0 (EMUI 5.1)."
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1997/g1642/v108624/f1/full/changelog.xml
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1997/g1642/v108624/f1/full/update.zip
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/...hw_spcseas/update_full_DUK-L09_hw_spcseas.zip
When I try to use dload method, it fails at 5%, is there a nocheck recovery for oreo to help me flash back to nougat? Or is there any other way to flash the rollback pacake?
Thanks!
Here.

Download: https://mega.nz/#!r8JWBC5b!gMvvUw4QPVD5NUXYiw2QweHVUGwFqINR6NaV1nnridw (h8p no check oreo)
And: follow guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/how-to/stf-l09c432-how-to-install-oreo-h9-t3707729 (it's similar to our device) and it has rollback guide.
You should be good to go to do a regular update with this recovery

why do you want to go back? are there any major bugs with the beta?
Bro. Going back to nougat from oreo is not yet available for this device. Google has changed the structure of all the partitions in oreo. So, until the company releases an official rollback package, you are stuck with it. I flashed the Oreo package after registering for the Beta testing version. I am using this version without any problem. I tried to call the call centre but even they are not aware about any roll back package.....

S9 still stuck in Apr 2018 security patch, no updates whatsoever...

Hi, my Samsung S9 (SM-G960F, dual SIM) was purchased in May 2018 from Dubai (fully unlocked) and is being used in India. There were no carrier restrictions at the time of purchase, it was purchased fully unlocked.
Even today, it still shows Android Security Patch Level at 1/April/2018. I have enrolled into Samsung Pie beta, and I try everyday to download software manually, but no update has come, either in security patch or in software version. The details are given below:
When I try to update software manually by going to software update - download updates manually, it says 'The latest updates have already been installed. Current version : G960FXXU1ARD4/G960FOXM1ARCA/G960FXXU1ARD6'
When I go to settings - software information, the android version is 8.0.0, samsung experience version is 9.0, baseband version is G960FXXU1ARD6, build number : R16NW.G960FXXU1ARD4, kernel version : 4.9.59-13138374-QB17882910 [email protected] #1 Tue Apr 24 11:50:17 KST2018, android security patch level : 1 April 2018
I have even downloaded Samsung Smart Switch and tried downloading latest software but no use. The message I get there is 'Your software is up to date : RD4(INS)'
Please help. At this rate, I am not sure if I will receive any updates at all, even security patches. I dont know what is the problem.
Thanks in advance.

Yea, just flash as normal, your bootloader will change to version 2 so you will not be able to downgrade back to that current firmware you are running as it is version 1

Does anyone have the HD1901_11_F.18 zip?

I have been trying to download the OTA - but it gets stuck and fails installation, any help with the installation or just the OTA zip file so i can manually load it locally.
I got the OTA, but didn't realize I had to grab the zip before installing. I'm trying to get the boot.img out so I can root, so I'm looking for the OTA as well.
Do not install it , I updated it and since then can not find system update in settings , nothing at all
That's the one that takes you to A12, I just spent yesterday downgrading back to 11, rerooting, etc
I personally don't recommend it if you're satisfied with your phone now, unless there is something about OOS 11 you really dislike or an A 12 feature you really want.
Can anyone confirm that the new update does in fact fix the connection issues that the previous update had? And possibly the automatic brightness issue as well. Those were really the only two issues I had with Android 12 and if those are fixed, I wouldn't mind updating again.
I have downloaded and installed F.18 thru Oxygen Updater.
After update to F.18, the dual SIM not working
