Note 5 Port (Darklord) - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Want to share the Note 5 port by @darkera13. Fast and Smooth with some minor bugs.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/development/rom-darklord-s6-port-alpha-t3083087
No need to buy the Note 5 now , thanks @darkera13

Does it work for the N900T? I don't see N900T on the list of supported devices. Is there a thing you need to do for it to be working?

Yes it works, it's listed under N9005/N900T/N900W8

I must be missing it. Here is what the thread said:
Supported devices
- N900D (SC01F, HLTEDCM)
- N9005 (HLTE)
- N900S, N900K, N900L (HLTESKT)
- Galaxy J (JS01LTE)
N9005 is not the same nor equal to N900T/N900W8.

You can flash pretty much any N9005 (HLTE) Rom with the right kernel on our N900T I prefer arter97 kernel, works with almost all lollipop tw roms!
But with the Darklord Note 5 port, it comes with its own 5.1.1 kernel

aye mate, but aince samsung hasnt release 5.1.1 kernel source for the n900t we're stuck with DarkQueen.
I ran the rom on my n900t for about a week and a half, and all I can say is DAMN GOOD JOB @darkera13

I hope you got permission to share this here. Lol
Anyway, I played with it about a week ago on my N900T test device and it runs pretty well. But a port is good regardless, because I personally don't know anyone who would waste money buying the Note 5! Haha.
I still say Sammy made a HUGE mistake with the phone not having expandable storage and a non-removable battery.

Last year, I did lookup the N9005 ROM -> N900T. What I understood was besides the kernel, it also need the bluetooth/NFC/WiFi fix as well. Are these fixes no longer needed?

I think the bluetooth and wifi fixes were needed for kitkat roms. I haven't tested this personally, but I've seen multiple people mention that they didn't need those fixes with N9005 lollipop roms. I've heard that NFC doesn't work with some N9005 ports, so you may need some kind of fix for that.

Everything works as it should with this ROM on the N900T. Just use the Dark Queen kernel. It should also work properly with other devices if the correct kernel for that device is used.

This ROM is amazing on Tmobile Note 3. So far everything works well!

Flashed this ROM and am really impressed so far.
3 questions though:
1) I left the Country Code at the first choice because didn't see anything that looked like U.S.A. - does it matter? If so, what is the right code for U.S.A.?
2) In a previous post I saw the Dark Queen Kernel mentioned, should I specifically be flashing it? (everything seems fine so far with the included kernel)
3) What tweaks are available? Can Xposed be installed?
Thanks!

What are the advantages of using the Dark Queen Kernel (the included one does seem to work fine, although the LTE icon isn't showing - is that relevant?)

I downloaded from the international thread
Been flashing different ROMs on that section.
I think that the darkqueen kernel goes good with this ROM
I am not sure if it allows private mode but I do believe that that kernel is permissive which is helpful if you want to use viper4android.
But the included kernel works fine

The kernel comes w the ROM itself. All u do is to choose the International version which includes N900T in the Aroma setting in the ROM. The rest I leave it as default. So far so good. The only thing is the battery drains so fast. I did flash the LSpeed, but somehow when I try to turn it on using the Terminal Emulator, it doesnt turn on. Dont know why!

Has Anyone Successfully flashed N9005 Firmware on Tmo Note3?

Wondering if anyone was daring enough to try flashing the International N9005 firmware on the Tmo Note3?
Looking at buying a Tmo Note 3 soon to run on ATT and would love to have it run the International N9005 Firmware (no carrier bloat)
If you have can you provide the details info? also will you get the updates like a normal N9005? any chance of an update containing a radio update that will brick the phone?
excuse the noobness of the questions, I don't normally tinker with good working phones. (currently running a genuine S4 google play edition) looking at a note 3 now....

I have flashed a few N9005 rom on my T-mobile note 3. Probam Rom..X-Note Rom and BobCat Rom. Also i just flashed knoxraid(AT&T Rom). I flashed all of the roms through TWRP. Make sure you use the T-mobile compulsion kernel or the Wildchild kernel.

SM-N9005 ROM on SM-N900T

I have a Tmobile Note 3 SM-N900T and I would like to know if I can flash note 3 international SM-N9005 Stock rom on my device.
Will this brick my device?
I believe it depends on the rom. Some devs list the models it can work with. Also only the devil of rom knows what tinkering they have done. You will loose Wi-Fi calling
TWEAKED 1.0 NOTE 3
Thanks for the reply! I am aware that both phones have the same hardware. So can I just flash the LTE international note 3 stock rom firmware on to my tmobile version? I don't want custom roms, so I was wondering if flashing stock rom would work.

Thought so, hey man since you flashed almost all international roms the ones that don't have aroma or manually install the international kernel, my question is even tho it flashes an international kernel while the rom installs it won't brick my note unless I boot up? After flashing rom right away uncheck reboot at the end of aroma(if any) then flash kernel/wifi>gps>bluetooth fix? All should be gravy?

I am not sure about all I9505's Roms but GOLDENYEY ver 25 is working perfect with my m919. My modem is still MK2 and my kernel is GOLDENYEY default Rom (talexop_Kernel_i9505_v2.1) but you can change it to Ktoonsez JB4.4-TW if you will get any problems.

Two additional kernel to GOLDENEYE rom
There are 2 more kernel (in addition to KT) that work perfect with GOLDENEYE on m919. The wanam (Adam) kernel :

Funny, I remember I got flamed for mention this Awsome Rom in db Thread once and seems evreybody are moving to it...welcome guys and lets bring the best of our S4.
Glad to see other people are enjoying this awesome ROM.
As I prefer the stock TW with no bloatwares this ROM is my ultimate choice. Extremely good on battery. Easy > 4h of screen time over the course of 2 days. No hiccup, no trade off. Very smooth and runs with minimum RAM (~35% most of the time on mine)
The few problems I've found are either belong to kitkat itself or cosmetic ones.
1. VPN still doesn't work. It gets connected but no data package transferred.
2. Lock screen music widget sucks. No longer able to pick song from the list or change shuffle / repeat.
3. The built-in Adam KN hasn't fixed the power off charging. The latest talexop KN v.25 did fix this problem.
4. Under Settings / Storage it shows 9.7gbs, which is the actual storage left on our phone.
5. In About device it shows I9505, not our M919. This reflects on Google Play and all other google services.
Overall I'm very happy with this ROM. Highly recommended for anyone prefer stock TW look. Just wish someone will step up and fix the VPN issue soon. Seems like it plagues most devices running kitkat.
Going to give this ROM a try. Hopeful I get the results you guys are getting.
This is, by far, the most stable, fastest ROM that I have tried. And I am a flash-a-holic!
I installed ktoonsez kernel and left the settings alone to get LTE.
I am using this with Straight Talk (ATT Sim). I have not seen LTE icon in last 2 days. Is there something I should be doing?
- I already applied LTE Fix - It was on first post of ROM
- I have double checked my APN and it is same as what I had with Stock ROM and I got LTE signal fine.
Is it just the display thing? I know old CM ROMS used to display LTE as 4G and 4G as H+
Please let me know.

The WiFi-fix patch while installing N9005 ROMs to N900T

Hi guys, I've tried to install many N9005 ROMs on my N900T device, they all works well without issues except the WiFi. So I flashed some WiFi fix patches from XDA and none of them are stable. I noticed those N9005 based ROMs that posted on XDA have perfect WiFi function (as ViSiON X N3), so was wondering which patch did they use while editing the N9005 ROM.
Thanks!

No your ROM is perfect I mean the problem is on other N9005 ROMs that were not modified for N900T that have WiFi issue (WiFi works but unstable). So I was just wondering how did you fix it when you port N9005 ROM to N900T.

Thanks but actually that is the one I have already tried, it works but like I said, unstable. Especially the connection to 802.1x network, I can't even pass the security authentication. Sad..

Here you go, from Canadian stock firmware latest version N910W8VLU1ANJ3
I'm pretty sure this will work fine on the N910F won't it?

Couldn't say. I only have the US T-mobile version, but there is an AEL kernel for the F and it should have most of the same capabilities.

I added this and Sprint because the T-Mobile version was getting a lot of traffic asking if it would work for them.

Thanks. Getting set up and then i'll start publishing builds.
This is great! Thank you for your time and effort in creating these kernels for various devices. Greatly appreciated!
Have a backup of your kernel or a recovery package of a working version before doing this
I put together a single kernel that should be capable of working on all of the carriers that StarKissed currently covers with the correct carrier settings. This is HIGHLY experimental. If you want to try it, the download is at http://goo.im/devs/playground/trltesku/kernel
It does not contain anything beyond the current version for each carrier. This is simply a test to verify if it will work.
Thanks a lot for the kernel. Canadian note

Thanks for your work! Would you mind build your kernel for the China Mobile version N9108V ?

Sorry, but I'm only building for North America at this time.
Working great on my Rogers Wireless network from Windsor Ontario Canada.... Thank you!
I tried to Download from Mega (I see that you have changed the file host) - Just an FYI - I get a message from Mega that links are not yet supported.
Twisted - Thanks for your Time and Effort!
It installed just fine on Canadian variant!!
Thank you so much!
Just a quick question though; Is there any changes I need to do in regards to I/O Schedular, CPU/Governor Settings, etc?
Regards

Thanks!
Also i realized that this broke Private Mode for me. Do you know if there is a fix for this?
Would you happen to know why my note 4 always reboots when I try to change the governor or CPU Max and min frequency?

Pretty sure you just set secure storage to false in build prop or use wannam xposed mod to do it
New home for this kernel is in the Unified Development section of the Note 4 http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/unified-development/kernel-dealers-choice-t2915824
