DPI? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+

With my declining vision I wanted to decrease the pixel density. I tried changing the DPI value from 560 to both 630 and 700. Both help a lot but cause the camera to crash and one causes issues with the keyboard popup. Has anyone found a value that doesn't cause issues with the camera/keyboard?

[Q] Lcd density equivelant for dinc?

Ive seen numerous devices use lcd density to change the size of their screen...is there an application that is similar to that for the dinc? Our maybe a way to do it manually?

Sure is, theres a few apps in the store. Just search for "lcd density." Or, if your running an AOSP ROM, there are usually settings for that under settings.

should've been more specific... An lcd density changer that works on the DINC... The ones that came out with search didn't work
I've used the app lcd density or changer or whatever and it works great for me

Seems to not work for mrr. Every time I apply settings it'll just keep rebooting until I do a battery pull

That's what happened to me. Sorry I suggested that lol. I would recommend an AOSP rom then. One I liked was LithiumMod.

You can just go into build.prop and change it yourself
The line i believe is ro.sf.lcd_density = ___ And put what you want in.

Minimum speed

Hi there.
Has anyone ever noticed a problem with 128000 as the minimum speed?

I never have. It should only go that low when the screen is off anyway.

No missed notifications?

I got it set to run that low only in screen off and never had any issue no miss notification or anything

No problems with 128 as the min. Just don't set it as the max.
I also have had no problems setting 128 as min. It should only happen when the screen is off. I think if you have issues you could bump it up a little bit. I had one problem a long time ago forgot which rom. There was a little delay between the notification of sms messages and vibrate. But I set the min a little higher with Set CPU and it fixed the problem.

[Q] T-Mobile Wi-Fi calling

Can anyone modify THIS to work GN?
I tried installing it, after installation when i connected to Wi-Fi the message popped up that your phone can make calls over Wi-Fi or whatever... But, when I try to run the app it force closes.. I am sure it is a small tweak to get it working with GN but coding is not something i am good at..
I would really appreciate if someone can take a few minutes and look at this..
thanks,
Wifi calling always forced closed at any other DPI other then 240. Its very picky about screen size. I'd start there. Try different dpi settings starting with 240.

Unfortunately system UI has stopped. CM9 A4

After setting screen density to 190 using rom toolbox I get this error and my notification bar is gone! Please help! I'm on CM9 A4

I've seen where 190 and lower causes some problems on CM9 A4.
Most Density changers are reset upon reboot... so first try a hard reset.
If that doesn't work then I guess I would resort to Odin'ing a CWM ROM and starting over.. it never bothers me to start from scratch... but I know some people avoid it at all cost. That's all I got. I just switched back to a GB ROM for now just because of all the problems reported with ICS leaks so far.. it won't be too long before we get an official ICS update.
I'm on 190 dpi and no fc's here

I can't seem to undo my LCD Density change...

OK, I used LCDDensity from the Play Store to change my LCD Density to 280. It didn't seem to work, so I gave up and set it back to 320. Everything looked fine until I opened my keyboard. Here's a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/U7o4R.png
As you can see, the right side of the keyboard is just a bit off screen. I installed SwiftKey in hopes it was just an issue with the TouchWiz keyboard, but no.
Also, as you can see in the scvreenshot, the build.prop is in fact set to 320...What can I do to fix this?
Thanks for your help.
Just manually edit your build.prop to restore density.
Did you reboot after your latest changes?
Wipe out all traces of that LCDdensity app too.
