I've been wanting to use my Galaxy tab pro to go live on periscope, but I've been having issues with the orientation. The bank camera is initially in perfect orientation but the front camera come out distorted. I was wondering if there is any work around which would let me use the front camera on the 12.2 Tab Pro. I'm on Stock Rooted Lollipop btw. Thank you!

Hi all,
I had a Nexus Galaxy and enjoyed the feature that allows to capture a still picture while recording a video. My new SGS-3 has that same feature but my wife's SGS-2 does not and she has been begging me to find a custom rom with that feature. I'm surprised that the SGS-2 does not have that feature considering it's part of ICS...right.

This is all in the hardware of the camera actually most new devices have it

I am really loving the note 3 camera app. Is there any way to get it on the Note 2? I am rooted and have the synergyrom.
If not, can a camera app like it be recommended? I love the mode dialer....

Ok I managed to install CM11 on TabPro 10.1
Everything OK so far but the camera doesn't work. The app either loads and functions seem to work but no image displayed, just a black screen as if the lens was covered (which it isn't), or the app stops with the "unfortunately...." message.
I'm using cm-11-20141022-NIGHTLY-picassowifi
Is there an issue with the camera app on CM11 and TabPro 10.1 and if not, why is it not working for me?

Hi. I would like to record slowmotion with tab s wifi version.
I checked from this forum that cm12 has this function and works fine. But can I just root it and switch another video camera app from other samsung device like note4? The thing is I have kindle hdx 7 with nexus rom but it doesnt showing 1080p yotube. Im afraid I couldnt watch 1440p with my tab s if I flash cm rom. Thanks have a nice day.
You don't need root to use another camera app. There are plenty available on play store.
Maybe one will have the ability to record slow motion.
i am facing an issue in using google camers in my samsung galaxy A50. if any of you can help me use this awasome app in my smart phone.
no variant of Google camera works with Samsung a series properly.. . so instead use pro shot or cortex camra
