Custom Remote not showing up in Quick Remote in quick settings (notification drawer) - G4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

As the title says, I am unable to get my custom (working in main app) universal remote to show up in the notification drawer quick settings. TV etc all show up but not universal.
Anyone know how to remedy this?
Also, can anyone try this on their phone and see if it affects everyone or just me?

can somebody please try this and see if it affects only me?

Custom remotes won't show up in the notification section. They only show when opening the app by expanding from the notification area or clicking the app from the app drawer. I can't give an answer as to why they don't show up, but I know it was like that with my G2 and now with my G4.

[Q] [App] Widgetsoid 2x

Here I ld like to push a great app that need help from an android expert.
Widgetsoid 2x allows you to toggle most of the android settings (data sync flash and many more) by the same way as the native shorcuts featuring on the status bar or replacing the poor native toggling wiget. See attachment.
In addition it is free and do not request for any suspect permission.
Only one point could be improved the buttons added in the status bar are indirect, I mean it open an intermediate dialog box featuring the direct buttons (see attachment).
According to the brilliant develloper JAUMARD Android locks the buttons on status bar but the radio app and the music app features such buttons.
Is there any mod or idea to remove this protection?
Nb : I m not the dev of widgetsoid 2x. I post for him... and then me...
Just downloaded this and its awesome!
One thing tho... The flashlight toggle doesn't work :/
Also how can I get it in the pulldown menu like in your screenshot, that would be amazing?
Please have a look on the help section :

When you select a toggle does it come up in a POP-UP window?
Thanks
Yes and no.
On some devices the comportement is the same as the original toggle - no popup
On SGSII, that is the point I have hilighted yes there is need for popup due to a lock of android system. The question is how to unlock?

I don't know maybe we should ask a custom ROM developer?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk
I cannot request anything and only hilight this app that supply a big lack in android system.
However I just hope that a confirmed dev that find this option interresting would be kind enought to share its mod unlocking the direct access to status bar button.
Help will be appreciated

[App REQ] TV Out Setting Toggle App/Widget

Can anyone whip up a simple toggle app for the Tv-Out setting (Stock rom). It gets tedious going into the settings screen every time.
It should just be simple, no gui or interface. Launch it, and it toggles the setting, with a toast stating if it is getting turned on or off.
Technically, I have a SK4G, but a TV out toggle app should work on both considering the same code.
It could just as easily be a widget, but a simple app is well, simpler. Please help.
Noone is able to help out?
Nobody knows such an application? I'm looking for exactly the same.
Thanks

Notification/Status shade replacement? Global Notifications without shade?

I looked around a bit but I didn't find any info about what I want to do.
Basically I am a minimalist person and not very cluttered/social so I don't use/need any widgets or large number of apps installed; so my desktop right now is completely empty. I also have been playing with gestures and completely full screen on my phone. Which means I use gestures for my softkeys and such, event to open the app drawer and quick launcher.
Now I am looking to never have to toggle the notification shade back on to see what if any activity is going on my device.
Ideally I would like one simple widget on the desktop that would provide any and all notifications, everything from screenshots or app updates to gmail and missed calls. Also the basics like time/date/battery/signal/etc. I am not sure if anything like this exists or is possible but I am interested to find a Global notification replacement.
The ultimate goal is to disable the lock screen entirely and rely completely on the desktop info for notifications and the like.
Any info or insight to this would be amazing and I am grateful for any help anyone can provide. Thank you.

WhatsApp/Telegram/etc. won't show up in notification bar

My wife got a new Fire Phone running FireOS 4.6.6. I rooted it, installed Google Framework and Google Now launcher. At least most seems to be working quiet nice (still some things bug me, like Facebook not working, you can't install Amazon Underground, etc.). Concept of many things is nice - but often not brought to an end..
Now, I am stuck with a problem where I couldn't find an answer (at least not one I can accept, hehe).
When I receive a notification from e.g. Whatsapp or Telegram, it won't show up as a symbol in the notification bar. When I drag down the bar, I see the stuff like "Message received" etc. But it won't show me something when I am looking at my home screen or the lock-screen. Can't you see with just a short look that you've got a new message? Do I always have to pull down the notification bar?
Even system status messages aren't shown. When I connect the phone via USB to PC, a stock android shows me this neat little graphic that the connection is established. With FireOS - nothing
Read this thread here and tried this NotifierPro, Floatify, etc.
But it's not as small, fast and nice as the stock android thing.
The thread there is almost a year old, so has something changed lately? Any way to use the notifcation bar like I used to know?
Or maybe there is a nice Xposed module??
fire os does not support status bar notification's icons

What a pity..
Any way to achieve it with an Xposed module? I think the icons could be done in an overlay or something, or is this no alternative?
For the moment I am using Floatify.. I think it just takes some days to get used to it

Hide Quick Panel/top bar on certain apps?

Hi, is there an app, mod or anything that anyone knows about to hide (or dip/dim further) the top bar?
I know certain apps like games & media players can hide it so I just wondered if anyone knew of a way to do it?
The reason is for the attached screenshot. It's a tiny inconvenience but if I could hide the top bar when using Doubletwist (or any other app) it would allow the full artwork to be shown.
Conversely, if any knew alternatively of a way to perhaps make certain apps respect the top bar and only start the app under the navbar, that would be perfect also.
I'm on Android 10 if that's anything and while I know Good Look isn't working yet on 10, I don't believe there was an option to hide it however anyway?
Thanks in advance!
