[Help] - Nokia N1

Hi, i'm new here !
I just bought a Nokia N1 from Eglobalcentral.fr, the tablet has Google Play Store installed, Youtube, Chrome etc.
After the first boot, I've connected the tablet to my PCs (Windows 10, 8.1 and 7)... On the 3 PCs I've got the same error " Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)", I've tried to install the drivers manually (grab on the intel site, version 1.10.0 and 1.5.0 on xda) but no luck at all.
Do you have a solution?

Just a guess - but since the USB controller is an older one, have you tried an earlier driver such as 1.9.0. Intel Version 1.10.0 might be for a different Intel USB controller entirely.
Also, you might want to make the thread title more specific to get the help you want.

Connection Issues with Note 2

I get the following error
"Unable to find software on your PC that can recognize your device. Service pack 3, Windows Media Player, version 11 or higher, or Samsung USB Driver for Windows XP, or Android file transfer for Mac OS must be installed (see www.microsoft.com or www.android.com/filetransfer)
when I connect my note 2 to my pc via usb. I also have a white note 2 that was connecting without a problem earlier today.
I've tried installing Samsung Kies, installing the Samsung USB Driver for Mobile Phones v1.5.14.0 with no luck. Let me know if you guys have any suggestions.
Stupid Samsung Drivers not working. Tried everything!
i just started having this issue out of nowhere as well. WTF? I've tried over and over to install the drivers and nothing is working. This is driving me crazy and I can't seem to fix it. My wife's S3 will no longer connect as well.

G3 & windows 10

I updated my PC to windows 10 'from 8.1 which I had no problem)
Now my phone is not recognized. (MTP or PTP) --> LG Androidnet phone : driver unavailable
Latest LG USB drivers (from XDA) didn't hange anything.
I think that it's the same old sh*t than win7, when you don't have mediaplayer installed (MTP works once you installed mediaplayer).
I found a package for MTP on Microsoft website, but didn't change anything
Did someone have the same issue ?
This should help :

Hi
I had the same problem. I re-installed the LG drivers for my D855 and still no luck. Then I downloaded and installed LG PC Suite, let update itself and now my G3 connect to the PC. I tried using the LG Mobile Support Tool but Windows 10 says it is incompatible. Hopefully LG will release new drivers and update the tool.

I find the way to do the job :
First : install Microsoft MTP driver
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=48231
Second : install LGUnitedMobileDriver_S52MAN314AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.14.1.exe
http://18d5a.wpc.azureedge.net/8018D5A/tool/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=UW00120120425
And then it works...
But if you wanna use download mode and fastboot this is what you will need to do also

Didn't work for me :/
I had no problems after installing windows 7. I followed this guide for my LS990: http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...de-how-to-restore-sprint-lg-g3-ls990-t2852042
I can confirm this method works with D855, followed what the posts and video said to install and do. Flashed back to stock ROM and rerooted worked without a drama with Win 10 64bit.
Cheers
It works well on d855 and D331. thank you
Haha!! Found a solution!
Sorry for necro-ing this thread, but even now I still have the problem (with my d852).
My solution was to go on LG's website for my specific model and install the USB driver in Software Updates -> Way2 USB.
Again, sorry for the necro, but I don't want people in the future struggling with this.
I know this is an old thread but I just had the same problem with my Lenovo T450 laptop. A few days ago it recognized my G3 LS990 but today it wouldn't. I fixed it by installing the latest USB driver from LG's web site. http://www.lg.com/us/support/software-firmware-drivers

my pc won t recognise my x800 us cm12.1 bethydriv4

I m using it 1 year. I ve tried 12s by cuocco but ifound cm12.1 better.I m rooted and the main problem is that there is no recognition by pc.
The only way is by the app "wifi file transfer".
First i downloaded adb drivers and installed and also Universal Android USB Driver, adb_usb_driver,adbdriver etc.
All usb hubs work perfect (device manager)but my device says problem 43.I did all i could ,from reinstalling usb drivers to reboot and used all usb ports but nothing happened.
I forgot to mention that i had may stucks and reboots in my x800 after changing ROMS.
Anyone could help?

I Need USB Driver

Hi everyone. I haven't been able to get this phone to successfully connect in both Windows 8.1 x64 and Linux Mint 17 in File Transfer mode. The other connection method, 'Transfer Photos (PTP) works though. I suspect it is a driver problem. I have tried searching online via Device Manager but it encounters an error when it tries to install an MTP driver.
I have also searched Xiaomi's English site and I haven't found any drivers for download. Their PC suite was last updated in 2015 and and so, I haven't bothered with it because I don't think it will be compatible with this phone.
I'm surprised that Xiaomi doesn't have a driver on their site. I have read about a supposed driver in the Realtek 8169 folder. However, that's not my Realtek model and so I don't have it. I'm also reluctant to download a driver from any 'unknown' sites.
Please help.

how to get the Sony windows drivers to work?

Has anybody gotten the Sony's official usb drivers to work? Its somewhat mandatory for xperifix et all.
I tried it on 2 completely different machines.
On win7 x64 box the driver complains about Error 10 - This device cannot start.
On a win10 enterprise thinkpad the error is similar:
"This device cannot start. (Code 10)
The specified request is not a valid operation for the target device."
I am starting to suspect that the drivers are faulty. FWIW the thinkpad has NEVER seen *ANY* adb/android/sony drivers before.
This is the "Sony sa0118 ADB Interface Driver" btw. Installed as a legacy device as per Sony's instructions. Driver is already not working before a device is connected. Device is subsequently also not recognized. Device works perfectly fine in flash mode on my Linux notebook, just not both windows boxes Ive tried (sadly Windows is required for Xperifix)
You use the drivers that comes with flash tool? Those are working for me without any trouble on Win10

tried these and they got me a little further - but not very. On first connect of the xz2c in "blue" mode Windows said something along the lines of configuring new device: Android. So far so good. Then started xperifix, which found the device and started to get device information during which it crashed (program got stuck, no .NET exceptions or anything). Now even 2 reboots later the phone is no longer recognized, I assume xperifix somehow borked up the fastboot drivers?
PS: the constant more often than not non-working recaptchas are getting a little annoying..
The drivers have to be installed in testmode on Windows 8-10. In Windows 7 it should work "out-of-the-box". And yes, I know I'm answering to one year old question, but it could be helpfull to someone one day. Maybe.
