Does anyone know of any extended battery back cover for the tab S2? - Galaxy Tab S2 Accessories

Thanks! (would be awesome to have an extended pack back cover..nevermind increased thickness) (not talking portable power packs) (8.0 version)

hi. doesn't seem like there is one. did you ever find one that fits the Tab S2?

I just carry around a 16k mah power bank. I use xiaomis one, it's excellent. Much better than constantly saddling a beautiful tablet with an ugly, heavy case... Imo oc.

That's why I was curious.
yes that battery will work for the vibrant. I have that same exact battery, but you will need a extended battery cover.

Unless this thing is horribly disfigured and malformed it is the same as the stock battery. So you shouldn't need an extended cover, but yes it will work.
Is it just me or this battery is on sale for only 3.41$ with free shipping. I wouldn't mind grabbing one if its the same exact battery as the stock one.

Yes - they are the same size / capacity as the OEM batteries. I have 6 of these (travel a lot with a lot of plane time) and they last almost as long as the original. Look around on ebay - you can get 2 of these with a wall charger for under $10 (shipped from HK).
I recently bought a couple of extended batteries (3500 ma) for under $8 each that came with an extended back cover (slight rubberized feel). I use them when home (no protective case for them yet) and love them. More than twice the run time and the added size gives some extra weight to the phone (feels a bit more hefty).

Samsung Galaxy S II I9100 Power Pack (Extended Battery)

the officially Samsung battery pack is out wander how much thickness it will add :
"An official Samsung Galaxy S II I9100 accessory that fits to your Samsung Galaxy S II and provides additional power.
Essentially an extended battery, this power pack for the Samsung Galaxy S II has a 1300mAh capacity. Add this to the 1650mAh standard battery in the device already that gives 2950mAh. "......

sorry mods if this been posted before, couldn't find it no where posted
Actually sounds good to me but how is it supposed to work, I mean how do you add the extended Battery? does it switch automatically or do you have to manually switch it when normal bat runs out of juice? Well I know u cant answer as dont have it either but what do u guys think?
And is this anywhere confirmed to be official, I mean I could sell "official" Samsung pee myself xD.
From my understanding if you can't turn it off it will kill the internal battery very fast because it will be constantly charging and recharging at 100%.
Does anyone have more information???
i was going to buy one of theys, but i decided to get a newteck 5000Mah battery pack for 20 quid instead, glad i got it instead.
Where U get this one from?
To my understanding the extended battery pack is kind of like a mobile charging dock.
When you put it on the phone, the phone goes to the charging mode.
I just ordered one. I hope it works like that, that I can keep the extended case in my bag and if running out of juice I just hit it in the place like putting it on a dock.
Of course I have to make sure that the extended case is also charged first.

Found this for you guys. Lookin a lil large. i think i read somewhere that when the Power Pack in installed on the Galaxy S II it is about the size of a 7" Galaxy Tab (just kidding!)

I agree with Newtrent guy: http://www.newtrent.com
I don't want to put such a fugly case on the phone... So an external battery (Which isn't so big, 4 inch by 4 inch by 2 inch, slips in a pocket) connected to the phone is my "on the fly recharge" solution. I got the imp1000, 11000 mAh battery, charged my HD2 5 full times before needing to be recharged.

It actually increases the size to about the Dell Streak from what I see. The Tab is a little too big! haha
external battery is much better, get one which can charge multiple devices like notebooks etc. You'd only have to bring one external battery for both phone and notebook device needs
RE: killing the battery because of charging/recharging at 100%.... is this still true? Because I thought / heard somewhere that the newest generation lithium batteries are less prone to that kind of fragility. Over maybe a year... sure... but how fast is "fast" when talking about killing a battery by charging it on full charge?

I am actually now thinking about cancelling it and thinking about some other options to longer the batterylife in special needs.
I have dock at home and work so no worries here but then if have a long day at bar etc then I might need more juice on the road..
Hmm, any phone should shame if it wont make it a full day tho. Kinda makes me wonder why this sgs2 eats bats this fast.
Is this piece is available for purchase?
Am I the ONLY one who has one right now?
Looks good and cool!

Agreed! I bought 3 batteries with a stand alone charger for 15$ and the batteries are 1500ma not 1650ma but for 15$ good enough. Gotta love ebay and Hong Kong items.
PS: The 15$ includes the free shipping.
I brought the mugen battery, works pretty good. Now I'm changing devices so ill probably sell the battery.

Just out of curiosity, why changing devices ?
The Captivate Glide has only been out since Nov 2011.
Was the additional 7mm an issue for pocket-ability or weight ?

There's a slim extended battery as well, 1950mAh, which fits under the existing cover:
http://www.daydeal.com/product.php?productid=66232
http://www.mugenbattery.com/mugen-power-extended-1950mah-battery-for-att-samsung-captivate-glide/
So its either:
1950mAh slim extended, no added thickness, giving 18% more power.
OR
3600mAh fat extended with additional 7mm thickness, giving 118% more power.
I will definitely order one of these but still not sure which.

I have always heard these will actually output less than that as it takes its charge and moves it to another battery. -Cannot transfer from 1 battery to another 100%
$45? ...How about $22 shipped
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2200mAh-External-Backup-Battery-Charger-Stand-Case-F-Samsung-Galaxy-S3-i9300-Whi-/140791105795?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item20c7cdc903
FYI, most of these external battery setups do not recommend charging the external battery while it's on the phone.
Wouldn't touch this with a 10 foot pole. This is similar with a crappy cover put on it.

Maybe the OP can vouch for the one he has, but I'd be hesitant. I went with the Qcell 4200 extended battery myself.

Yes, after testing was done, it was found that not only is the 4200 hyperion battery (and case) smaller than these, and cheaper, but they have 4200 MAH while these equate to considerably less... depending on when you switch on the external batt case. There is a point that battery can't drop any lower when charging another battery, and you loose some just in the transfer anyway.
the only advantage of this is that you can easily take the phone out and go caseless, for less bulk. but now you are caseless, unless you always carry an extra case around with you.
For me, the hyperion (being smaller than this, cheaper, and more power) was the way to go. and if I wanted to keep slim, but was going camping or something, I would bring an external USB pack (heck i even made a couple: google minyboost).
but hey, if you like it, OP, each to their own.

Trust me, Hyperion Battery isn't more powerful than this. The real 4300 mah battery is Mugen Power batteries. And The Mugen Power Batteries is $99. So Hyperion isn't a good battery. If you think 4300mah battery better than this, you should buy Mugen Power batteries.

No need to hate, just because you got less, and paid more.
Well, then the samsung OEM battery must suck too... because i am getting over twice the on time with my hyperion battery. Over 1 1/2 days, with HEAVY use (over 8 hours of screen time, plus 3 hours of bluetooth, and GPS). Hyperion have been making GOOD quality batteries for years (they used to make them for RC cars, now they do Cell phones too) just because Mugen overcharges, does not make others of lesser quality. Also, hyperion has some of the best customer service i have ever dealt with.
perhaps you should research before you make unfounded claims.
I didn't say bad things to your battery. I'm sure Hyperion batteries good too. But my case isn't bad.
your case may work, he was just saying that you will not get the full charge to convert over as i had said, plus you now have no case for your phone unless you leave it in that 24/7 or carry one around. MUCH simpler (and bigger ACTUAL AVAILABLE battery life) for cheaper with the extended battery. -plus they have 2 different types of cases for the extended battery!
I got wife and I each a 4200mah NFC capable battery and TWO backs for each of us (QCell comes with 1 blue and 1 white back per battery) and TPU cases for them for $5 more each! -and QCell offers a discount for 2+ items!
Hey, as long as you like it, more power to you!

[Q] Extended battery?

I tried googling, but to no avail. Does anyone know of an Extended Battery Kit for the Active?
I've yet to see one because I doubt anyone (meaning a company) will be able to create one that retains the water-resistant capability of the GS4A. Your best bet may be the Mugen 2750 mAh battery for the GS4 which appears to be the highest capacity that still retains the stock battery size. That's pretty much the best and only option for any "extended" battery runtime.
Oh, and if you see anything on eBay or wherever that claims higher than the Mugen at 2750 mAh run from 'em 'cause they're BS as always.
Extended battery
Its not even available on Amazon....waiting for Anker to launch one...
A little pricey, and not sure of the actual specs, but here is one I found on Ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-3700mAh..._Cell_Phone_PDA_Batteries&hash=item338648e7ab
I just did a quick glance. You can look around more if you please.
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trk...ery&_nkw=S4+active+battery&_sacat=0&_from=R40
I wouldn't trust that any further than I could throw it.
If Mugen can't get 3700mAh into a standard size GS4/GS4A battery, ain't nobody else going to be able to do it either, that's my position. Mugen makes a 2750mAh as I noted above and that's pretty much the best we're going to get for the GS4A. That so-called 3700mAh model, nah, I don't believe that capacity for a single moment.
If someone wants to take a chance on it, however, more power to you (pun very much intended).
For us GS4A owners, the Anker or Hyperion dual battery (meaning you get 2 of 'em) and charger setup is probably going to be the best for 'extended' battery life most likely. I'm still considering that myself but I've got 3 batteries already (one Samsung official that's a few weeks old and 2 cheap Chinese counterfeit ones without NFC capability).

Zero Lemon 3000 for I9295
I tried Zero Lemon 3000 for I9295 (Galaxy Active), but it too sick for this model.
Even when i removed paper from battery it looks like no 100% feet.
You won't retain your water resistance, but I've used the ZeroLemon 7500mah in my S4 Active and wrapped electrical tape around it to keep it in place.
Not the prettiest looking, but the battery life is out of this world.
I bought the S4 Active for the LCD screen anyways, not for the water protection.
