Doogee Y100 Plus Review

This Chinese company has recently introduced new smartphone called Doogee Y100 Plus.
They believe that this model can be very successful like Y100 Pro.
So let's see what this phone brings.
Comparing Y100 Plus with Y100 pro the main difference between this smartphones is the screen size.
Where the Y100 Plus has bigger screen 5.5 inch and the second difference is battery capacity where Y100 Plus has stronger battery
with capacity of 3000 mAh. All other hardware is the same and design is more or less the same.
From what we can see it has medium strong hardware for this price range which is around $120.
Camera photo samples and other information here on my blog: Doogee Y100 Plus
I tried many different apps like games, watching HD movies and other staff. Everything was working as it should to work.
I have also tested the phone with several benchmark applications and below you can see benchmark results.
I tried also Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. All connectivity functions works good as expected but Wi-Fi has several meters weaker
range for connection. GPS works with out any help with precision of 3 m.

Xiaomi Mi Band Review

Xiaomi Mi Band
USD $24.99
Overall 9/10 :
The Xiaomi Mi Band is a fitness band that is comparable to the Fitbit Flex. The band is made by the popular Chinese company Xiaomi renowned for making affordable good quality tech and the Mi Band is no exception, It is comfortable to wear and I often forget that I am wearing it. The band is available from various sources across the internet but I chose Dx.com as they frequently have them on sale ($14 at the time of writing this) and they ship internationally free. The band is of exceptional quality the only area where it is lacking is the tracker sometimes pops out of Band when doing something that required me to more my wrists a lot (Sailing). The Band officially supports IOS and Android with the Mi fit app but there is a more locked down 3rd party app available for the windows phone.
The Band is full of features for such a low price point, as well as being your standard pedometer it track your sleep, Vibrate for alarms and can vibrate and light up when you are getting a call. A massive strong point for the band as the battery life, They say that it can go 30 days on a charge but I charged it up for an hour and a half when I brought it (32 days ago) and it’s still going with 40% remaining. Another good point of the band is that it automatically detects when you are sleeping and starts counting unlike the fitbit where the sleep tracking has to be imported manually. A useless of the band is the leds on the top, They are white only as opposed to the rgb on the previous model and don't turn on unless there is a notification and it vibrates, it would become a lot more useful if you could press the top down and get a rough idea of how many steps you have taken towards your goal as opposed to just lighting up whenever it feels like it.
Pros:
Great Battery life
Silent Alarms (Through Vibration)
Accurate sleep and step tracking (Tested with a Microsoft smart band 2, with the two bands off each other by a difference of 12 steps)
You Can get Notifications from most apps
Came with a replacement band
Cons:
Can only get notifications from 5 apps at a time and you have to have your Bluetooth on for this to happen draining phone's battery life
Device sometimes pops out of the band
Only white LEDS

Heavy use endurance

Playing Candy Crush for 22 hours straight can take its toll on your battery (and your marriage). Rate this thread to express how the Huawei Mediapad M3's battery performs under heavy use. A higher rating indicates that it lasts a long time even when playing games, streaming video and audio, and doing other CPU-intensive activities.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Heavy usage always impacts the battery. I get a few hours when I play games and it is good enough for me.

I have a question.I'm planing to get the m3 10.1 lte. What are u meaning for "heavy usage" ? I will play with games (gameloft) or as syberia so I dont think they are realy heavy (with a note 4 syberia 2 I was able to play with 3-4 hours) but olso streaming tv or divx.At the same time I think to get a SAMSUNG SM-T819 10.1 lte (but not sure with will habe the bettar performance with battery life /streaming .What do u think? Huawei or samsung?
@helen2: I only recommend the 8 inches Mediapad M3. The 10 inches Mediapad (Youth or Lite) have issues with touchscreen and are not as smooth as the 8 inches M3. You could do a lot with the 8 inches ME. It will be easier to carry around, performance is still very good. If you want an alternative, the S2 is not a bad choice. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus is also quite good. I do not know having a 10 inches tablet is a must. I had a 10 inches tablet in the past and I find 8 inches to be the perfect size for watching anything on it and still small enough to carry around.
Heavy usage means graphical intensive games like Mortal Kombat X, Real Racing 3, shooters and so on.
@tmihai20 ok no no i dont llike lenovo .Yes I was thinking to get the m3 8.4 inches but..I must look in the shp I have a note 4 5.5 so maybe 8.4 wll be to small,I think the best is 9.7 that I'm meaning using it as a alternative of a netbook.I will have a loook tomorow in shop if the have the 8.4
Thank's
@helen2: it is a shame you do not want a Lenovo tablet, because some people I know have returned the M3 in favor of the Tab 4 8 Plus.. It is also recommended all over Reddit as an alternative to M3. I have not used any Samsung tablets, but the model you specified (SAMSUNG SM-T819) is from 2016 and may not get updates past Nougat.
Huawei also announced Mediapad M5, that will have Quick Charge, the only thing missing from the M3. The SoC will be HiSilicon Kirin 960s, not the Kirin 970, it will not have audio jack and it will have a Type C connector. It may be worth waiting for the M5, if you do not mind the missing audio jack.

Crazy decision by Huawei, leaving the Audio Jack out on a tablet. :crying:
@Masteryates: one of the dumbest decisions. But hey, why not force everybody to use the damned adapters, so they can damage their tablets more easily and make them buy new ones? There is absolutely no justification to remove audio jack on a tablet.

Agreed Tmihai, :highfive:
In many ways it could be argued that Tablets should have 2 headphone jacks to allow 2 people to watch when your on a train etc. You can get an analogue audio splitter but doubt you can get similar for USB-C.

Hi. I didn't come from OP3, I have used Mi 5 which also has SD820 like Op3 So I can't tell about OS optimization as OP3 has Oxygen OS. Battery life is definately better than mi 5. I usually got 5.30to 6.00hr sot with Mi 5 whereas now with Redmi note 5 ai I get 9-11hour sot but remember Redmi note 5 ai/pro comes with 4000mah battery whereas Mi 5 or OP3 has 3000mah battery. Gaming sot is different. Gaming is more less same but Graphics is slightly lower than Mi 5. I didn't notice any performance issue with RN5 as I use less apps. Multi tasking is fine. Sound quality relatively same. If you want Full view display and battery life then go for Redmi note 5 pro or ai with higher rams. Otherwise stick with your OP3. Hope it helps.
Cheers.
comming from op3T -> way better battery life, videos are crap, camera is slow and slightly worse, occasional stutter and this phone may require a little bit more patience than the OP3.
