[Q] Where do you find the Device ID on a broken Smartwatch 2? - Sony Smartwatch 2

I have a broken Smartwatch 2 (Came in contact with water and stopped working afterwards) and want to send it on to sony support but they are asking for the Device ID and the S/N on the back of the watch is incorrect
So my question is where do I find the Device ID or is there another way to send in my Smartwatch 2?

On the watch, on the original box, on the bill

[Q] Question about stolen Note 2 and my new activated one

So my Note 2 was stolen the other day, the phone is off still and I went ahead and got and activated a new Note 2.
I havent told Sprint yet because I am waiting for the thief to turn it on so I can track it and find the phone since I have AndroidLost and WheresMyDroid installed on the stolen one.
My question is once the phone turns on, will the thief keep receiving my text messages and what not if he connects the phone to WiFi?
Also, if i change all my Facebook/Twitter/etc passwords and they try to open that app on the phone, will it require them to login with the new passwords?
Any help/advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

text msgs arent sent over wifi, so no, they wont.
yes, they should be required to log in again
Ypu should have filed a police report the same day. The Note costs enough to be considered grand theft (at least in my state) and if you report it stolen properly they add its esn to a database and it gwts flagged when they attempt to activate it or turn it on while still active on your account. They can then locate and obtain your device back, if not catch the theif, sometimes they just get the chump that bought it even then that can sometimes lead back to the theif if they have a phone number for the seller. Plus reporting it stolen to the police gets you off the hook for anything done with the phone after it was stolen. You wouldnt want your unreported stolen device to turn up as the detonator on some terrorists IED, good luck explaining it was stolen but you didnt report that your $700 device was taken

[Q] S4 demo unit

Hello everyone
I m working for a mobile company (Wind telecomunications) in Greece and we recently recieved in the store a demo unit of S4. All the other devices we used to recieve were proper phones with proper functionality. It is the first demo unit we recieved (no imei on device) so I would like to know if there is any way to transform it into a normal device. I read some articles on internet about demo units. Some of them saying that flasing a rom solved the issue but some others say that demo units lacking the antenna. Probably mine is missing the anntena as well because I tried to put a sim card and there was no response from the phone. Moreover by calling 112 the phone says that couldnt deliver the call.
So... Propably is antena problem. I would like to know if it is possilble to order and antenna part from ebay (or other) and istall it to the device along with firmware installation or demo unit can be used only as a tablet without sim.
(Important! I am not stealing the device but I am about to use it after it gets off from the live demo wall.)
Thanks

i dont think you can buy just the antenna. you best bet would be to get a broken galaxy s4 from ebay and scrap it for the part you need.
and even then i dont know if you are able to transfer the antenna. Someone with more knowledge about hardware could clarify if its even possible
Hmm i would try flashing stock firmware and use a tool to repair the imei not going to mention the tool here ,...go to a cell phone shop say imei repair they might help u ...

The problem is not the imei repair but if the device can be used like that or not. If someone knows what exactly is the problem and how it can be repaired.
make me call

How to find HTC model/imei number?

Hey guys
I found one HTC phone on the road with half broken LCD, the owner called on that number I told him LCD is broken if you want i can meet up and give back the phone, he said he dont want the phone and then blocked the sim card.
Now I just want to ask how do I find the model or imei number to get LCD changed so I can use it ?.
I tried searching Google but there is no information regarding this. The lcd is all black now. It can connect to a computer but there are no photos or any data.
I opened the back lid there are only some serial numbers.
Any info would be appreciated.
Regards
I found it at the lower back of the mobile nearly invisible.

Galaxy watch LTE not receiving texts on standalone

Not sure why but i cannot receive text messages on my watch when its in standalone mode (LTE) I can send them and make/receive calls but thats it. The watch has its own phone # but i use number share so it uses my cell phone #.
Same thing for me. I do get server originated text like t mobile customer service reviews but nothing from others phones. If I text my own number it works ironically. I have tried 2 different phones one note 9 and one Huawei both reset, reinstalled the app and reset the watch 5 times. Two new digits numbers and canceled the old ones. 4 hours with TMobile support another hour with Samsung and nothing. About to sell it. Used to work untill lat week. Did you resolve this issue?
A few things for anyone having this issue. I did have all settings correct and getting a replacment watch solved the issue but only while using the Remote Connection Toggle in the Wear app. My watch is LTE so this should be working without it toggled.(ie or with the phone completley off) Without it toggled if you text the actual digits number instead of my phones number it works all the time. I am awaiting a tier 2 tmobile Digits tech to resolve this issue. My previous watch wasn't even getting the texts while remotely connected but could do all other functions. I will update this thread after talking to them and then try my old watch to see if it was the watch, TMobile or both. Either way they gave me a free watch so I can't complain about their efforts to resolve this issue regardless of what was at fault.
Were you ever able to fix this? I'm having the same issue. I've sent my watch in to Samsung for repairs and it worked for a couple weeks and then stopped working again. I've been on the phone with T-mobile and they can't help me and multiple people have told me to get a new watch. I just got this watch in March, so it's still under warranty with Samsung, but I am debating on upgrading to the watch4 to try to fix it. I am so frustrated. The whole reason I got this watch in the first place was for the LTE functionality and to not be able to even use it feels like such a waste.
any one got it fixed? I have same issues with my Galaxy watch 4 Classic LTE. I get calls but not messages when entirely distanced the watch from phone
iv just made the same post, not 10mins ago

Samsung Health Monitor "no compatible watch found" pairing with GWA2

Yesterday I replaced my Motorola x4 phone with a Samsung Galaxy A71 5g. I repaired with my Samsung Active Watch 2 with no problem. I now want to enable ecg but cannot see the Samsung Health Monitor app in Galaxy store using either the watch or the phone. The watch and phone are latest level. I am in the USA. What am I doing wrong? TIA.

Initiate the process On your watch, where you should already have a Samsung Health Monitor app. If so, Tap on it then select Open on Watch (or something like that). See if it prompts you to install the Phone version of Samsung Health Monitor app (or gives you a URL to download and install).
I did the process so long ago that I can't quite remember how it worked. I think that the process was made even easier after Tizen 5.5.x.x came out.
You're in the U.S. but did you purchase a U.S. GWA2? Also, is your GWA2 software up to date? Is your Galaxy Store app up to date?
I've attached a picture of the icon to look for...
After spending hours on the phone with Samsung, it turns out that the active 2 I bought at a local Costco is not a US model, but rather an international version. I will be visiting Costco tomorrow, but I don't expect anything since the watch was bought about a year and a half to 2 years ago...at least I still have the box. It will be an interesting discussion.

You can pretty much return most items to Costco. My friend just returned a 1.5 year old router! Don't worry. It should go smoothly.
I went to Costco and engaged in a spirited discussion with the customer service desk. In the midst of this discussion they wanted to verify that the watch serial number matched the box and sales slip. I repaired the watch, verified the serial number as matching, and attempted to show them the problem. I did not restore the watch using backup and instead opted to install just the health monitor app. When it loaded it connected to the watch and warked fine with ecg. Did I mention the egg on my face? Samsung support level 2 lied when they said the watch was an international model.
The moral is, when troubleshooting, go back to ground zero and only involve the failing app. Apparently something that was present in my watch backup caused the health monitor to not recognize the watch. I tried at home with similar results and everything is working as designed. Lesson learned!
