It's too early to know, we still may see it in the next 3 months
as Samsung usually updates their phones with 2 major updates then stop the support of that model, until now we got only one and that was the lollipop.

Oks i hope we got one so that development of cyanogenmod & cfw is take a hike with m kernel which is important for future updates [emoji6]

Hey guys.., according to Vodafone Australian community, maintenance release 2 for Xperia m will be released on or before 7th of July for phones bought through them. For other people, they have to wait till PTCRB approves new build number for this update

We are also waiting for the update to fix the volume bar bug and fast battery draining...
Did u try factory reset after the last update., bcos after the factory reset, the battery draining was reduced little bit....
Try this

Answered my own question.
I personally don't like these small updates. Why Sony keeps releasing a lot of small updates to an outdated version of Android instead of focusing giving us KitKat, which our phone is more than capable of running?
Take a look at Xperia L, for example, that phone is identical to ours (the only difference being internal memory and main camera) and was released with Android 4.1. They got a major update to Android 4.2.2 and now all they get are a lot of small updates and nothing more. I mean, Xperia L is veeeery similar to Xperia M, so why they didn't get an official 4.3 or 4.4 update too?
If this history of updates repeats with Xperia M, we'll be stuck in Android 4.3 forever. Sony will keep releasing small updates to us instead of bringing new versions of Android and when our phone support ends we will depend only of custom ROMs, not to mention Xperia M dual users (like me) that need to choose between having second SIM functionality or using a custom ROM to get KitKat

I agree with you bro..., Sony is just irritating the user with these small updates and even those updates aren't checked properly before they are released., those updates are released to fix a bug, they do fix it but the problem is that they are creating a new bug..
And bro I read somewhere that xperia m both single and dual won't receive Kitkat, and it seems that we ll be stuck with 4.3 forever unless we use unofficial roms.. I think that this ll be the case for all the Sony midrange phones....
I am a great fan of Sony, but now I am starting to hate it...

Yeah I heard abt that from one of my frd.. But I don't want to do that cos we are almost close for the next update.. Waiting is nothing wrong ..
It seems that the next update after QMR2 for xperia m ll take a long time ( usually it takes long time) I mean much longer cos there is no info regarding the future updates from Vodafone Australia
The build number to the firmware is 15.4.A.1.9, a firmware what has already been released.

Is there really a point in the hype around it if it is the same firmware what has already been released? We already have ftf files of it.

Note 3 was released forever ago
To the average user..... a toggle, and amazon app. Ahaha
More "advanced" - security updates, bug fixes, runs smoother then 4.4.2, Ive had better battery life, new kernel with a bunch of changes compared to 4.4.2, new modems, etc etc
Definitely better battery life. Also lte seems better and broader than before. Haven't had one RR since upgrading.

Lollipop for dual sim..

Is there any ROM dat is compatible with Sony xperia m dual??
If not.. Devs can u plz develop one.. FD r the sake of us c2004/2005 users...

There is CyanogenMod 11 and a lot else. But CM12 will NOT I repeat NOT be released for some time as PecanCM said.
OK will it eventually be available?? I mean later..?

I'm wondering why everyone want 5.0 so much. For now cm is in very early state and basicly lollipop is slow, so slow that even google decided to release 5.1 asap. I haven't seen redrawing launcher on 4.4 when on 5.0 it's something common. So ds users calm down since kitkat is still best option for our xperia.

Note 3 neo to marshmallow??

Samsung confirmed that all flagships released after 2014 are going to recieve marshmallow..what does it mean?Marshmallow to note 3 neo and no to original note 3??
it means that n3n is not a flagship...
And You think you have brain..it cries for update since u were sucked to this world
Our N3N's are not flagship Phones even if they are nearly as fast as the S5... I just got same antutu score as the S5 with debloated stock
But actually we should be happy about that we got 2 big Android updates... (JB -> KK -> LL)
The Galaxy S3 for example came with 4.0.4 ICS and was only updated to 4.3 JB so it got only one big update (ICS -> JB)
However there is a KitKat port by arter97....
But also the Note 2 got only one big update (JB -> KK) !
before samsung said that they will upadte all FS-Phones to MM it wasnt even clear if the s5 will get MM...
And the Note 3 will also not get MM and it will even stay on 5.0 (will not become updated to 5.1.1)... we got even 5.1.1 instead of 5.0 as Note 3 got.
Lets all hope though..it would be great to brag those with n3 n2 and others if we get mm
does it mean s5 neo a flagship? or note edge not a flagship?they were not released as flagship but as some kindof twin to flagship..therefore we too have but the slightest chance....Being positive...It might mean something like we might get mm in 2017..that outrageous..
http://www.xda-developers.com/samsung-flagships/
please read this..N3N is a flagship..know it better
[CyanogenMod]
Is there any cm for our neo 3 ?
