**************************************************
[ROM] 6045Y-DCZ
current version 2.2 (2016-08-09)
STOCK, STABLE, FAST, ROOT
**************************************************
FOR NOW IT IS ONLY FOR SINGLE SIM DEVICES!! DUAL SIM NOT WORKING
-it is not exactly a build. Its more a mod.
-based on latest Alcatel IDO 3 5.5 6045Y MMB29M EUROPE UPDATE
-including ROOT (latest supersu 2.76)
-removed all unnecessary apps from Alcatel. there is only the necessary basic to run the phone. All other things you can download by yourself.
-Due to source is the avaliable set of languages shrinken to English, German, Slovak and Czech. But More Locale 2 app (included) will do the trick for you on most apps.
GUIDE:
-Its always better to flash this upon a stock firmware. You can try to flash it upon custm roms like CM AOKP etc, but since i havent tested it, i dont know if it will 100% work
-download firmware and also the MD5 checksum and copy both files to your phone.
-go to TWRP recovery (please make sure you use the @Unjustified Dev version from here
-make backup of your current ROM
-here you can grab a bat file to make backup of your curent MODEM, or download your MODEM in a zip file. Don´t forget to thank @famewolf for the time he spends to gather the modems.
-If you hav ebackup of oyur curent modem, just open my ROM zip in a ZIP app (i use 7zip). Replace the non-hlos.bin with your non-hlos.bin (modem) file.
-copy the ROM (and if you choose the modem zip file from @famewolf )
-wipe chache/dalvik/system/data
-format data (just to be sure. Format data is something diferent than wipe data)
-install ROM (make sure you have MD5 check enabled and it gives no error)
-reboot
-on first boot be patient it takes a while after the first boot (about 5 minutes) untill the ROM settles down

changelog in 2.1 build (2016-08-08)
-build from latest 6045Y 010 06 update (6045Y MMB29M EUROPE UPDATE)
-no need to do some silly unmount and mount crap, because i know how to write the updater-script
-Root (systemless) included, GAPPS included (as this is just a moded stock ROM)
-Debloated 6.0.1 version..lockscreen is working well for my on 6045Y

-replace the i806 launcher with one from 6045Y (will do need more tests because of lags of the 6045Y launcher).

Nice work! Does your version allow wifi to be enabled while in airplane mode? Are you changing the model to something unique like x806 to prevent updates from trying to be downloaded/installed that could affect partitions beyond system/boot? Did you remove the system update checker? Have you modified or eliminated the default updater-script in the stock i806 rom which clobbers several partitions beyond system and boot?

-yes wifi can be turned on while in airplane mode
-i deleted update checker app, so there are no updates
-yes i deleted all entries that were messing around with radio etc.. So now this script only format and copy system, busybox, root, kernel thats all. So it should be also suitable for 6045I version. I can enable the double sim stuff in build.prop so this should work also for 6045K version.

Sounds like you have all the bases covered! What a shame we can't get multirom to work on our device YET....it would allow us to use our external sd to swap between multiple roms and I could have cm12.1, yours and whatever new one I'm testing all going at the same time. Multirom also has it's own custom build of twrp that supports the roms.

i know i have used MULTIROM on my older devices...

You may want to look back to your source and see if they do an unmount of /persist at the end. You have left in the code which format's it and extracts the wifi drivers then symlinks them but I didn't see an unmount so it may have gotten accidentally deleted. It may be unnecessary but normally for every mount you have an unmount as it can leave partitions mounted in twrp that could cause issues if the user installs packages after the current one.
Hmm I guess I should also confirm for the 6045i users that you are using the "group 2" kernel? If not, 6045i users will need to flash the group 2 kernel right after flashing the rom before they reboot..not a big deal but if necessary a link to it in post #1 might help. Looking forward to trying this one since the i806 rom had such better performance for the idol3 than the default roms.

As it does not rewrites original recovery neither radio files it should be good to all variants, but I have not tested (only on my 6045Y).
the second thing is the OC kernel from HTCMANIA.com if it will be working on 6045I,6045O nad 6045K variants.
If someone with dual sim (K version) would try it and has no dual sim options there have to be a slightly build.prop modification. Just change line "persist.radio.multisim.config=single" to "persist.radio.multisim.config=dsds".
someone should try...If he made a full TWRP backup, there is nothing to worry about (i think)

I'm surprised the chinese rom had higher antutu scores than cyanogenmod but I'm looking forward to having a rom that flips "upside down" properly.

Edit: Disregard what I said below, I just looked at the page again without it being translated and found the link, I think. Wow, translators really make a mess of a page. Is this the correct file/img...."Nuevoboot_Alcatel_V1.img"?
I'd like to try this but the link to HTC Mania translates horribly, it's a absolute mess. I cannot find the download link for the Group 2 OC Kernel (6045i) anywhere on that page. Can direct links be posted?

Hmm, so I have cm12.1 11/23 running, and its rebooting alot more than it was yesterday Lol. I am running the group 1 oc. Is that the right one? I think it is, so hmm. Is it worth switching back to stock?

anyone with other model than 6045Y should download the Nuevoboot_Alcatel_V1.img as I understood.

Well, I have tried that one as well, and it doesn't boot. So I guess its for stock ROM? Haha.

Disregard previous information, apparently the kernel in the thread changed somewhat since the last time I downloaded it. Testing again, boots up with the group 2, will report back.

You should talk about cm in the cm thread..thats what it's for. Group 1 and group 2 is only for "stock" roms. the i806 falls under "stock rom". Roms like cyanogenmod should be running the CM kernel on that page. It's part of the name and not either of the groups.

@DallasCZ
What min/max/governor are you choosing for big & little in KA?

Ok... so:
6045i
- Full Wipe
- Installed without kernel, then hit reboot
- Rebooted straight to TWRP, said OS not installed. Installed over it, rebooted.
- Booted up, went through settings, then froze when Supersu free dialog box popped up
- Installed Nuevoboot_Alcatel_V1, and open_gapps-arm64-5.0-micro-20151124
- Booted up fine, no play service issues of any kind
- Ran AnTuTu 64-bit with big/little on performance (1651 and 1113), score 33,625
Can't fathom why the 6045Y would score almost 3,500 more on AnTuTu. Made sure there was no thermal throttling by placing phone in front of air conditioner.
Edit: Seems the 6045Y can throttle the little up to 1601, whereas my 6045i maxes at 1113? I'd assume that is where the extra 3,500 in AnTuTu is coming from. Odd, in the CM OC kernel I was able to 1601 on the little..
Edit 2: Set the GPU to max clocks and performance governor, score 35,868. If little clocks would hit 1601 instead of 1113, I'm betting it would pass 37,000.
Final Thoughts: I've had zero issues with performance in any capacity, and the MOTO Camera for v2 Lollipop works great. I think we've got a winner here. Not a big fan of the news thing when you swipe to the left though, hopefully an easy way to get rid of that... and apparently its pretty easy, just press and hold on homescreen, then hit the toggle on the mini version of the news screen, gone!

Most folks could choose 1601 but their phone was rarely actually at that speed...people experiencing reboots should check their cpu temp in KA...in every case I encountered a reboot checking it right after boot showed it was still quite high and more than likely the cause of the reboot. You should however be able to set it to 1300 without issues.
I wouldn't use performance or interactive as they had all 4 cores going way to much of the time allowing temps to rise.....try "wheatley".

This final rom is one which I am runing daily, I have removed some boatwares but not all, removed only some which iritating me. So if you need some apks which is missing, just download from here -> https://github.com/munjeni/D5503_14.4.A.0.108/tree/master/system and add to the zip byself! This rom have some optimisations and fixes, dual recovery, cwm munjeni and twrp, to enter cwm hold volume down when blue light start blinking, or hold volume up for twrp when blu start blinking. I recomend linheart+row and my favorite theme aka black theme munjeni which is included only in final rom aka this one. This rom contain kernel from 157 with kernel modules and firmwares from 157... etc, in short my favorite rom dumped directly from my phone using romgen tool, so its tested and definitely stable, just install it right and carefully and enjoy!
* If you have root problems or problems remounting system rw, install this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61696951&postcount=531
* If your choice was "debloat rom" trought aroma installer, I have marked google contact & calendar sync in removal list as bloatware, but if you realy want to debloat your rom but kiping google contact & calendar sync you must install folowing zip package -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61894795&postcount=573
How to install:
- first of all you must have your phone updated oficialy to the bootloader, baseband... etc and it must be from 108 rom (your choice how you can do it, but thats needed!) before you gona install our rom! You no need to be rooted since rom is for booth locked and unlocked bootloader!
- wipe data factory reset
- format system partition
- install rom
- install update.1 -> (this fix portrait retouch and give you China Photo editor) NOT REQUIRED ANYMORE !
- install update.2 -> https://mega.co.nz/#!NI4UkAgD!XPGU4WhDsfRXquzaL1wmQDaees-PrtF8SBpIOZgdn_Y (this revert dialog and toast style to stock one ;; fix for timeshift video) NOT REQUIRED ANYMORE !
- install update.3 -> https://mega.co.nz/#!lAZSUISa!09ca_GvuDHh8r9-5M3aAhc3TiDOePj26n79aa7VkTds (unhiden daydream option in settings menu) NOT REQUIRED ANYMORE
- install update.4 -> https://mega.co.nz/#!4JJFTYjZ!IjQsoCdJhSFBZFs_hyQrEHudBkaCZZfiyhG4-wHm7sc (usb serial support and ftdi sio ; new task killer) NOT REQUIRED ANYMORE
- install update.5 -> https://mega.co.nz/#!1FoUkLZB!SEpBPmiV7GC6D0CeXdej-neqwOsfMelrFTxY5teKFp8 (ntfs support) INSTALL ONLY IF YOU HAVE old stable rom, do not use with final rom!!!
- do not replace default busybox which comming with this rom since you will broke root!
For best experience I have compiled Lionheart cpu governor, you can use them in combination with row iosched to get very smooth ui and very good baterery life for daily usage! I have runing rom 13 hours + 1 hour with phone usage and have almost 88 percent batery power remain
4k is not working and allso I not going to get them working!(I have removed 4k from camera widget). I sugest you to not use any external camera mod since our one is totaly stock based and I have not replaced anything related to stock camera, every camera part is carefully patched, so if you want any camera mod than do not go here to report something which probably will not work after your replace or you get battery drain fast after replace! Allso if you have installed something which not comming from our rom than allso please do not report anything! Everything is tested and everything working very good!
If somebody have problems installing rom (error 7 during installation):
- Remove first 2 lines (ASERT) from updater-script than try again
Hoorraaayy, you are back.
Thanks for the update man, will download and try ASAP,
Also I was looking for an update for multiboot, that would be amazing.
Thanks for your great work, and looking forward to seeing more of you
Probably not since my microphone is broken and probably I must get new model soon (z3 mini)...soon. In any way I am sharing the best rom to all
Thanks for sharing this ROM, looks very promising!! Is it based on the brand new Sony firmware 14.4.A.0.108 from August, or on the one that is available since June?
With best regards, maris
Yes, D5503_14.4.A.0.108_latest one from august

Android version: 4.4.2
Baseband version: I317UCUCNJ1
Build number: KOT49H.I317UCUCNJ1
ROM is NE5 patched with the NJ1 OTA. Rooted, Deodex'd, and Zipaligned
Thanks and Credit to @Zen Arcade for his Auto-deodexer
Added Tethering patch, Screenshot edit, and Quad-MultiWindow
No N3, N4 or S5 stuff. No Theming. Not sure if I'll go there on this ROM.

Almost Naked ROM IS POSTED BELOW. It has the stuff removed from ButtNaked.
Like Books, Flipboard, Magazines, SVoice, etc. All ATT crap will be stripped out.
I'm still learning what the changes were on NJ1. The camera feels like it takes pictures faster, a little quicker to respond for the next pic.
INSTALLATION
Instructions are the same as any other Custom ROM.
If you are on stock kernel it will probably hang. It should not if you are on AGNi kernel.

Install instructions: Credit: ATT DN5 Team @sawdoctor and @Bajanman
You need to have Samsung 4.3 Bootloader or newer.
Make sure you have the latest TWRP/CWM recovery installed.
Next, remember to backup your apps and your efs folder. That's something that you always should do before flashing anything.
Go to TWRP/CWM recovery via pressing home + power + volume up button at the same time.
Make a Nandroid backup of your working system, if you haven't done so.
Its best to do a clean install for any new Rom (clean installation recommended includes internal storage)
In TWRP Recovery hit wipe, and slide to factory data reset system. (Internal won't be touched fyi)
In PHILZ Recovery Format Internal SDCard (in mounts and storage) and do Factory reset (I will install a new ROM option in PhilZ)
(Reminder) Remember that everything you flash you do it at your own risk so do your research before flashing anything!!
Now find the location of the Rom on your external and install it.
Flashing the Rom zip.
It should take less than 10 minutes till it boots...

Xposed Installer Credit : Author(s): rovo89, Tungstwenty
This is the installer for the Xposed framework, which is a requirement for all modules.
Xposed is a framework for modules that can change the behavior of the system and apps without touching any APKs. That's great because it means that modules can work for different versions and even ROMs without any changes (as long as the original code was not changed too much). It's also easy to undo. As all changes are done in the memory, you just need to deactivate the module and reboot to get your original system back. There are many other advantages, but here is just one more: Multiple modules can do changes to the same part of the system or app. With modified APKs, you to decide for one. No way to combine them, unless the author builds multiple APKs with different combinations.

So does this mean that you have to flash the ne1 ROM (buttnaked or full) before flashing this one? Also, how has agni kernel been behaving on 4.4 lately? I shied away from using it because of all the freezes and reboots awhile back. I'm using a 4.4 ROM whose kernel is stock based right now, but the network type within the APN keeps switching LTE off on me, and it's driving me nuts. I love it, but I also love your ROMS, I used your mk6 ROM for a very long time and always keep it in my back pocket. I might give this NJ1 build a shot, since it's an ATT base. Thanks in advance. ?

I used the NE5 as base and patched the NJ1 OTA. So you can just flash it all by itself. It does not have the kernel, but it does have the NJ1 modem.
DoctorQMM has been chatting with Bajanman and he suggested do not go over 4.2.8 kernel.Doc has been running it for a few days and it's doing fine on his phone. But you know, every phone acts different.
I've been running 4.2.5 since it came out. I just loaded 4.2.8 last night. It's running good. I may add it to an update, only thing I see right now is removing a couple of Knox files I missed.
I'm messing with the AOSP 5.0, should be done with the Almost Naked today or tomorrow. Thought I was done last night until I flashed it.
I lost track of my builds ober the last week and the build I'm messing with had the newer Play services and store.
It was a train wreck when I tried to get into Play sotre.. Updates worked fine and it's running now, but it's half assed if I release it like it is.
I dirty flashed this over the ne5 buttnaked v1 I had installed, and it works flawlessly. I had some crashes on the ne5, but none so far on this rom. Thanks Dev...because of you guys, I don't have a need update my Note 2. Much appreciated.

No worries. Glad it worked.
Just out of curiosity, I did a clean install of this rom, but got the black screen as well. I had to dirty flash over the n5 butnaked rom. Not sure why this is, but thought I should mention it as well.

Did you install anything between the flashes? The only difference really is the NJ1 Buttnaked does not have a kernel and the NE5 does.

Use my 3.8.1 kernel. Super solid and stweaks is packed. Just fixed a boot issue with TW as it's dual boot but I've been running it on my Saber rom and it's been flawless. No SOD or RR. Kernel has updated LTE modem firmware too. Gave me an extra bar at home where I consistently had been getting only one. Make sure to get build 3.8.1 from AFH and not 3.8 on xda. I haven't been able to upload to xda for 3 days

Great stuff! @
Nice, I'll test it tomorrow as it's too late to make a backup now.
I'll report back if I would find any issues. Thanks for sharing:good:
Edit: well I installed it and I could just upgrade from optimusg3 to it and thats nice without any real issues. The only thing that sucked was that the installer waa not in english. So I thought like okay, lets just press this. And I guess that that change made my widgets different :l so I have to reinstall the whole thing again to have it normal. When it comes to kernel you also have 3 choices but I will use google translate I guess for installing next time.
But further no bugs. Only thing that I miss is dorimanx[emoji14]
Instructions are a bit confusing, but i'm going to try it. Hopefully it works better than GRola
I installed the ROM and everything work just fine. But some of the themes have bugs after changed some icons become pixelated...But overall great rom..Need to test more if i found any bugs i will report.Gj developer..

Just take picture of someone's face in complete darkness with flash turned on and I will tell which drivers is used.

[ROM UPDATED NOV 11 [UB] DirtyUnicorns Lollipop 5.1.1 r29 Unofficial

If anyone has a problem with Dialer crashing, flash this and reboot: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3542888&d=1447583272
November 11: Rom updated. This is the same release 29 with the following changes:
1. Fixed notifications: now you have the correct icons in status bar
2. Network switches in Settings: mobile, wifi and bluetooth
3. Changes in WP8_supplicant: better wifi
You can flash dirty if you are on the previous release.
Download: http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=15160
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
November 9: Rom updated to release 29
1. Latest Google sources including stagefright and audioflinger patches
2. Updated M5 kernel compiled with GCC 5.2.1 Ubertc - some say no one has done it before
3. Du has abandoned Lollipop (too bad for them), so, this is final unless there are further releases by Google
Kernel does NOT have recovery builtin. So, have TWRP in Fota/Recovery partition
Download: See download link for November 11 above
You may try to do dirty flashing if you were on a previous release, but full wipe is preferable
Oh, I want to give credit (the second time in this thread) for initial kernel sources to @Myself5
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
October 14. New update to LP 5.1.1 r24. This release includes:
1. Blacklist (call blocking). If you go to Security, you will see Blacklist heading where you can add numbers to block
2. Google October Security Patches.
3. Latest Sources (r.24)
This is probably the final Lollipop release, unless Google does r.25 et al. Virtually no one is doing anything with Lollipop: everyone is on Marshmallow... So, enjoy it while it lasts, as we are looking at the next summer the earliest when Marshmallow could become stable...
Download: http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=14752
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
September 23. Rom updated to LP 5.1.1 r18, DU release 9.7. Latest sources.
Kernel includes the implementation of the latest Linux commit where persistent ram is replaced with Pstore. Also, the latest Sony 14.6 release with a revamped wifi module. The result: more ram available, better wifi and general stability... This kernel is only available on my Jaguar rom (originally) and this version of DU.
Do a fresh install and then you can restore your data (if you were on my prior release), otherwise, fresh install.
Remember, due to DU implementation of Selinux switch (which in my release is redundant (as Selinux is disabled in kernel), the system will take an extra minute (on first boot only) to have access to Settings. Android may complain that Settings app is not responding, choose wait and then allow root access to Settings, so that it could do its thing with Selinux switch. You only have to do it once...

____________________________________________________________________________________________________
August 22: Rom updated to LP 5.1.1 r13. Latest sources.
The main change: I have fixed brightness in TWRP 2.8.7. Due to horrendously wrong values, brightness could not be manually adjusted and also exceeded Sony's maximum settings over 18 times, which resulted in temperature rising to over 65 degrees during flashing. So, now the brightness lever works and you have about 52 degrees during backup/restore. I will be pushing commits upstream soon..
Download Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=14132 Download link fixed. There were 4 downloads, please re-download and re- flash.....
You can flash dirty if you are on my previous release.
____________________________________________________________________________________________
August 14: Rom updated to LP 5.1.1 r10 and DU 9.6. Original DU is still release 9, but I used Google's r10 sources.
Latest AOSP/CM/DU sources. Latest M5 kernel with cpu/gpu overclock. TWRP 2.8.7 is in boot image.
You may flash dirty if you were on my previous release. If you use Xposed modules, you must flash Xposed for LP5.1.1 before rebooting.
Otherwise, clean flash. Keep in mind that due to DU changes LockClock app is part of DU Tweaks and if you remove it, you won't have access to Tweaks anymore. The good news is that DU's Lockclock does not have googleplay binaries...
Download: http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=14022
__________________________________________________________________________________________
August 11: Kernel updated to include the latest CM and M5 commits. Kernel now is 2 mb lighter. Also, the fixed TWRP 2.8.7 is included in boot.img.
Download: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62282724&postcount=198
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
August 3: New build. Latest changes. On my end latest M5 kernel with the following additions:
1. CPU frequencies and voltage: 268/300/422/652/729/883/960/1036/1190/1267/1497/1574/1728/1958/2150/2265/2419/2457 and they all show up in voltage
2. GPU two new frequencies: 533/600
I flashed dirty, wiped cache/dalvik and had no problems, but clean flash with the subsequent data restore in TWRP is still preferable.

P.S. TWRP is in boot, so, get rid of your fota recovery first...

July 30: New build. This is DU's release 9.5. Latest sources. See changelog in rom.
On my side: Wifi disconnection after 15 min of sleep and excessive draining are fixed. Now, the battery draining is very close to Kitkat
And generally wifi has more power now, as I have increased power cap to 80. All features listed below are also included
On first boot, Settings app is going to hang for about 1 minute due to the fact that SElinux switch is looking for Selinux which is expelled from the rom (as you know), so, just wait for Settings ask for root permission and grant it. If the system says app is not responding, choose wait, because you really want to give Settings that root permission, so that it wouldn't bother you anymore
If you are on a previous DU build, you may flash dirty, but fresh install (and then data restore in TWRP) is preferred.
TWRP is back in boot.img, so, if you have fota recovery, get rid of it in bootloader: fastboot erase recovery
Enjoy

July 14. This is an update in SystemUI.apk and Settings.apk. The first one may (or may not) fix the infamous screen freezing issue and incorporates this AOSPA commit: https://github.com/AOSPA-L/android_frameworks_base/commit/0542d859b7678b40c1e39f46a75cd9eb4af68103.
The second in Settings brings Hotspot idle support based on this: https://github.com/DirtyUnicorns/android_packages_apps_Settings/commit/ccabd57818de51196e7cb82eeae266e90029bb08
Just flash the attached dirty and reboot.

Rom updated on June 27. This is LP 5.1.1 release 5. Latest DU and Google sources. All my hardened features included.
Additional changes (by me):
1. Network selection includes all options seen in phone test menu. Now, you can select many combinations of networks in Settings/More/Cellular Networks, as opposed to just 3g/2g/Lte, which means that your selection will stick, unlike when you make changes in test phone menu
2. SlimLauncher instead of Launcher3

New build is up. I think I was able to address most heat issues. There are also a few changes in DU sources in framework, telephony, vendor and DU tweaks. CPUs are running at about 32 degrees idle and about 42-47 under load. You should also see battery life improvement. There is absolutely no screen flickering (because of no overheating). This is experimental, as I have addressed some MP decision triggers, which in generic CM based kernels result in all 4 CPUs being online all the time. No wonder there was overheating.
I have also found that surprisingly the most lag free action is with Conservative governor. This is counter intuitive, but nonetheless true.. You try it and report

soon i test this rom very thanks for the work
I have run this rom for about 24 hours and here are my impressions:
Most stable rom so far and I have tried them all. Also, good on battery. Flickering issue has been definitely fixed (by CM) and I have used their honami device with new values in thermanager. It was not easy to build, but doable, as opposed to Omnirom, which as of now, has no chance for our device. Thanks to DirtyUnicorns, they have a separate calf branch which is suitable for Z1. Don't try to use another kernel with this rom unless you copy modules too. This kernel has screen, sound settings, but no voltage, and I don't recommend tinkering with default values. I have also given up on TWRP 2.8.6, as it has major bugs resulting in overheating and failure to backup/restore. Use any version below.
The rom requires some tinkering: as such, Adaway defaults to disabled on reboot, because of DirtyUnicorn's internal adblock. If like myself, you like Adaway more, then disable adblock in Dirty Tweaks and also delete /system/etc/hosts.alt file. This way, Adaway will work fine.
A separate word on battery. It takes me 3-3.5 hours on OEM charger for a full charge from about 16%. If it takes you more or less, don't blame the rom/kernel, it is your battery dying. Forget about fast charging, it will do nothing good and for sure will destroy the battery. Heat just kills it like nothing else. If the charging is slow, the battery can't get the required voltage and the phone wouldn't report it fully charged. If it is too fast, that means that it attained the required voltage, but holding capacity has been severely reduced, which in turn means, the battery won't hold the load. Trust me, I have recently put a new battery (and new battery door) after using the phone for less than a year. Changing the battery was not a pleasant experience (the sticky they put on glass did not hold, so, I had to use glass glue,.) Why it was a battery? Because, while the phone would say battery heath is good, youtube wouldn't last for more than 20 minutes. Considering that the phone appeared in 2013, that's a miserable battery life, bit it was my fault: too much flashing and heat.
Screen freezes?
Any screen freezes on this ROM? Stayed away from AOSP cause my panel has issues with it. Would be nice to have a ROM which doesn't freeze
Wow, I've been waiting for this!
The only thing that's bothering me now is the lack of advance WiFi and Bluetooth option in the tiles (no arrow below WiFi and Bluetooth icon).
What things do or do not work? I honestly want to flash this so bad, but I'm afraid I might want to go back to my previous ROM when I find out my camera/shutter key doesn't work :/
I'm running a debloated version of the stock ROM, and I'm looking into this for an even lighter experience.
Thanks!
Quick question regarding C6902...would it be required to flash the modem separately like before on kitkat? Or has that been integrated into the rom?
Thanks.for understanding

Is it still here in this ROM?
Hi, have some problems installing. When I install it seems to remove recovery and I think the efs as well since the network doesn't work at all. I've flashed it three times, each time losing recovery and having to flash the stock rom back. Thanka for your help

Just do a search for Xperia Z1 recovery fota solution or fastboot any kernel with good recovery.
I don't know what efs is, but I have absolutely no network/wifi problems: works straight on boot. If you have C6902, you need to flash a file that is posted in general section.
Kernel with TWRP integrated

Here is a 5.1 kernel with TWRP integrated.
Unzip it and flash in fastboot: fastboot flash boot boot.img
Remember, if you have TWRP in FOTA, don't flash this one, because you wouldn't be able to get to recovery at all.

[ROM] [6.0.1] [10/23/2016] [M4B30X] [Tuna - All Variants]

Android 6.0.1 for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus
Introduction
This is a moderately customized ROM for the Galaxy Nexus based on AOSP 6.0.1. It is a unified build that should work on all three variants: toro, maguro and toroplus. Focus is on stability and functionality, with many additional features pulled from other custom ROM projects and some that I have designed myself. My goal was to create a build stable enough for daily use (I still use this as my primary phone) while developing new features that help improve the overall Android experience.
I welcome any and all feedback, including bug reports and feature requests and of course, donations are always very much appreciated!

Instructions
Install / Upgrade:
Flash ROM
Flash Google Apps package
Flash SuperSU (optional)
Flash Xposed (optional)
If you are migrating from a different ROM, you must wipe /data!!
Reboot
Notes:
On the first boot after flashing/upgrading, the device will reboot itself once before the boot animation (Google Logo will display twice).
This ROM has been built without DEXPREOPT, so the initial boot will take considerably longer. For this reason, I have made the ability to turn off the screen during the boot sequence to hopefully save some wear and tear on the display.
This ROM uses the older graphics drivers and is therefore incompatible with any third party kernels! Please do not flash any other kernels with this ROM!

Disclaimer
I'm not responsible for bricked devices (honestly, has anyone actually ever bricked a GNexus?), data loss, lack of rhythm and coordination. Please remember to ALWAYS make backups before you flash and if you are changing filesystems on /data, you will lose ALL DATA which includes everything on internal storage and the recovery will NOT give you any warning before it performs this highly destructive act, so just be aware! Thanks and enjoy!

Toroplus
I've installed the rom on my sprint toroplus . Runs smooth as butta but I've not been able to get gapps or google play services going . Open gapps will flash but you can never get anywhere with it because setup wizard FC's over and over . I've flashed it without gapps . It boots up fast and runs perfectly without gapps . 3G comes on fast , calls work , bluetooth works well . Other gapps I've flashed complete successfully but aren't anywhere to be found once booted . I've also downloaded the latest google play store apk to try and get my google account connected but it FC's everytime I try to add my google account . I think this rom will be great if I can figure out a way to get some gapps on it . I've tried FML 6.01 and it doesn't have this gapps issue so that's a good sign . I intend to keep trying and if anyone has an idea of how to get around this please holla at me .It seems like it might be a permissions problem . ty

Make sure you install gapps BEFORE you boot into the system...or else you will get permissions errors. Flash ROM, flash gapps, wipe data, then boot.
Also, each time you upgrade to a new build, you MUST remember to flash gapps before you boot into the system...or else you will have to reformat the entire data partition. The runtime permissions framework in M is a bit of a hassle, and the kinks are likely still being worked out.
Good luck.

Thanks for the reply . So there won't be any dirty flashing this for awhile then ? I did at first flash gapps when I flashed the rom . After all the FC's I did flash without and booted up . I am currently flashing dirty with MM daily on an S3 but that's another beast Lol .Are you saying I'll have to reformat just the data partition or do you mean entire sdcard partition ? At least we know data , telephony , bluetooth all good . I can't verify GPS until I can get something installed to test it with . ty

If you are migrating from another ROM, you must wipe /data. You may dirty flash future builds of this ROM (unless otherwise specified) but you must always remember to flash the gapps package before you boot into the system, or else you will encounter the permissions errors.

Just wanted to remind everyone to tell us which device you are using when you post a question since this is a unified build. Thanks!!

we should provide something like this at the start of the thread, so people know what to do
Please include your version of Galaxy Nexus in bug reports! (All versions are codenamed: Tuna)
GT-i9250 "Maguro" (World GSM)
SCH-i515 "Toro" (Verizon)
SPH-L700 "Toro Plus" (Sprint)
GT-i9250T (Australia)
SHW-M420S/K (Korea)
just for example. I took this info from wikipedia.

I'm using I9250 - Maguro
GPS works, Cellular connection drops after each calls and regains in 5-15 seconds.
Camera ok, video recording ok. but I miss legacy camera that you included in LP.
Thanks @zzpianoman .
Thanks,

Thanks for the feedback.
The Legacy Camera app does not work in M. The only reason I included it in the Lollipop CM builds was because Google Camera had a tendency to crash. This is no longer the case in Marshmallow, so I decided to abandon the Legacy Camera app altogether.
When you say the cellular connection drops, do you mean mobile data?

@zzpianoman , thanks for reply. It's not even mobile data the entire connection "no signal". I shall try to send a screenshot, if possible.
Thanks,
