Housing for MI3 - Mi 3 Accessories

Has anyone got his back housing replaced by a service centre?
What are the charges? My phone is out of warranty. The housing is cracked. Everything else is fine.
And does the housing come along with a glass cover for the camera? My camera covering glass has also cracked. I dont know whether the camera has cracked or just the housing.

Camera and housing are different
And camera glass is with the sensor so the whole sensor will be replaced
Other than that no info on charge or service

If you have the back panel, the service centre will replace it for free.

Does the xperia play front housing case has a glass? And how to glue it back?

Hi guys,
I just dropped my Xperia Play and the front glass cracked. I was going to buy a new housing case on ebay but now I'm confused about what I actually need and how to repair it.
This is the item I saw on ebay (Full housing case). Judging by the pics it seemed to me that the front cover comes with a glass already?, but then another search gave me the result for a touch screen digitizer (Touch Screen Digitizer).
Are there 2 different glasses on the Xperia Play? or what's the purpose of the glass appearing on the first link?
Then I found this manual (Installing-Sony-Xperia-Play-Digitizer/7593/4) where they say we need to use a heat gun to remove the glass from the frame. Is that heat gun really required and do we need to glue the glass back to the frame? Any idea which glue could I use for that?
Many thanks in advance. Looking forward to trying my 1st repair...
I think I'm right on this, the housing is just that, the housing. The "glass thats on there is only meant to protect the digitizer. which is the thing that reads where your fingers are.
I understand even less now. I've been scratching my broken glass to see if what I had broken was the glass that appears to be part of the housing in the 1st link or the digitizer, and I'd say that it's the digitizer and there's no any other kind of glass that belongs to the frame!
I'm starting to think that the 1st picture on ebay is kind of misleading and that glass that appears there doesn't really exist?
I'd like to know where I can get the glue also.

I sold a touch screen digitizer some time ago on eBay. I have seen them for around $30 and yes from what I have seen the housing is just the bordering around Tue touch screen digitizer. I would try searching eBay for that. The one I had I bought from hing Kong and it worked jsmust fine.

Ah ok, thank you. The picture of the housing is not very good then as it seems that it's got a glass that goes on top of the digitizer...
Did you replace the screen as well? Any suggestion about a good product I could use to glue it back to the frame?

Be advised the digitizer is glued to the screen bordering. I do not know what glue it is. Sorry.

Anyone got the camera lens replaced... Opinions needed...

I am having lots of scratches on camera lens... Initially I ignored them but now they are affecting the image quality as I am having problems recently... Now has anyone got their camera lens replaced from HTC under warrenty? How is the new lens, is it the same one? Is the unibody design gonna be a problem here? Need some feedback guys, and let me know how much HTC charged you... Thank you in advance...

Yeah the glass not the lens actually, can you please link me...
If I'm not mistaken the outer lens was housed on the case. I afraid you have replace the uni-body casing just for lens substitution. Remember someone posted here that he managed to buy case. Yes. It is in one piece..

I have bought a replacement back cover and can confirm the outer camera lens clear cover is integral to the back cover.

How much did it cost? Is it available at HTC service centre?
Not this is a help to you now, but once you get it replaced, do what I did, I bought one of the fairly inexpensive screen protectors they sell, and cut a round piece to cover the glass to avoid exactly that, and it doesnt degrade the quality of the picture at all, this way you can have one sheet for countless amounts as covers, at least this way if the screen cover gets scratched you can just replace it with another pre-cut one, I have one sheet that made about 25 covers for the lens. Just a thought. HTC should have really recessed the glass to avoid this, or like previous models be able to pop the glass out cause the camera lens is recessed from harm.
here you go with required tools, just bought from them as spare part didn't install it but looks original and good quality with the lens cover integrated with the housing

Thank you everybody for the cooperation
Hello Everybody
I am too in the same boat.
I have bought a used HTC One X (AT&T) mobile phone.
The previous owner of the mobile phone have clearly stated that he bumped on a table which damaged the camera lens.
I assumed the lens or lens cover be easily replaceable.
But it appears to be not the case.
Anybody shed some light on the same ?
Also please check these links

Can't i just replace the lens by purchasing the above items?

Replace the body of the phone.
i did it last week, changed my HoX Grey to a HoX White
only cost me $50,- (which is 39 euro's for me :victory: )
bought the case from e-bay with free shipping.
The cheap screenprotector film is a great idea, gonna try that as well!
Can't we just replace the lens cap alone ?
It is available in eBay as separate piece .

Looks to me as if thats just the rim around the camera
The Bezel/Lens is sold as separate pieces...and cheap!
If anyone figures out how to just change the bezel\lens, and not have to go through the trouble/expense of replacing the entire body, let me know.

There is a thread about camera, cant find it at the moment, but I did read in it that the glass is part of the back cover.

Broken back, where to get this part?

The title says it all actually:
My G6 fell and the back is broken. Anyone knows where to order this part? A replica or original does not matter to me.
I generally buy this sort of stuff from eBay will be well worth a look.
This happened to me today. Apparently the gorilla glass 5 is not as hard as I thought it was. Dropped my phone from a height of 50cm and the rear glass is broken. Thank goodness the camera glass is ok.
Btw, this is the link where I bought the new glass (with adhesive). It costs $10 and I think that's a reasonable price.

Now I just need to find a tutorial video of how to replace it. Please share if you find a good one.

Did you manage to replace the back cover? I guess I have it worse, as I have my front screen glass shattered. Any idea where I could find the replacement kit?

I haven't tried it yet. I ordered the glass from china so it'll take some time to arrive.
You can get official LG parts from Spares LG website:
http://www.spareslg.com/fr/familias-smartphones-g-series-g6--h870-
There's Witrigs.
I can't recommend them though, I never bought anything there.
