Its not the dual sim model, the H815P is the South African and South American device, the H818P is the dual sim

But any other info about this variant? Like, what I should look when trying to root or flash something...
This model has some particularity over the H815? Or is equal to another variant?

only H815 has variants that can be bootloader unlocked (Euro countries) so no flashing on others

I rooted mine with the pre-rooted system image method. I used the system image of an H815. And it worked. You can flash the stock H815 kdz's as from what I've seen partition size is the same. I flashed the H815 V20B on my H815P, from South Africa, and it worked.

Wait... What? You have MM on an H815P? I'm also in SA with an 815P and have been playing with the idea of doing what you have now done. I'm currently running rooted v10g and getting bored with the lack of hacking I could do.

Yip, I used lgup to flash it, I can't remember if I went straight from lollipop to v20b using the kdz or I went from lollipop to v20a using the flash - with flashfire and then flashed the v20b kdz. Not sure if it will make any difference, but make sure you have a v10 kdz just in case something goes wrong.

Thanks. Will give it a bash in the morning when I get to work.

LG G4 Marshmallow Update on H815T

I just wanna ask if there's a marshmallow update on HK version (H815T). It always says I am using the latest version OS but still my android version is 5.1 and my Software version is V10e-HKG-XX
Thanks!
I didn't hear anything about the HK variant. It seems that Europe should receive the first MM batch alongside South Korea.

If you don't want to bother waiting you can flash the H815 MM kdz through LGUP. I've been on it for weeks with my H815T and everything works as it should. When the official H815T update is released it'll be pretty easy to swap over as well.

You're talking about this thread here, right??: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lgup-install-kdz-mm-lp-t3249803
I'm on the the H815T on v10c-HKG-XX with root and Xposed. Were you able to upgrade your firmware and keep your apps/settings/data, or did you have to do a full wipe before you flashed?
Can you explain to us exactly how you did this and your steps? Nobody in that thread with an H815T is sharing their details. Do you have a link to the kdz you used? Did you have to modify your prop file? Were you rooted before?
Nothing fancy needed, just download a H815-20A/B kdz (I used the one provided by autoprime's thread) and then basically decide if you want to upgrade or wipe (refurb). I've tried upgrading and it'll work, you'll keep all your apps and settings from 10C; personally I like to start fresh so I wiped my phone and then restored apps through LG Backup. That being said you'll lose xposed and root either way until someone figures out a way to unlock the bootloader.
Marshmallow is now available to download from LG bridge for H815T. Enjoy
Here's a HK thread talking about it.

My device hasn't got the update yet though...

I think you are mistaken! LG Bridge is not showing any updates aside from v10e. I'm guessing that you're confusing it with the H815 Taiwan edition???
---------- Post added at 06:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:03 PM ----------
It's not showing up on Bridge, but take a look at this: http://opensource.lge.com/osSch/list?types=NAME&search=h815
Is that the H815T rom or is that just useless code???
Yeah, i just rechecked. its showing v10e now instead of v20a.
See my screenshot. Its an HKG version.

Hello, how are you? i have few questions to ask, i have H815T
1 - Can i install KDZ MM for H815 from autoprime thread to my H815T with LGUP refurbish option?
2 - Which method is required to root this MM rom
3 - After rooting if i want to go back to stock to receive official update, should i install V10e with LGUP to downgrade and lose root.
4- Which rom you are using? are you rooted?
5 - Any chance of CM13 for H815T without bootloader unlock?

I can answer #5 for you. For now you need to have an unlocked bootloader to flash CM13. In the future something may come out but its not guaranteed.

Hi, I have software edition v10f and I'm trying to root my device is downloading v10c safe? Does it matter? I'm on H815 as well
I flashed V20E through LGUP on my H815T,but LG Brigde now showing V20C for H815T.What should i do?
Let it be then. I don't see any real needs to flash V20C. I am now using V20E on my H815T HK version which is very good in terms of battery life and performance.

There is no problem.
H815P is H815 with a little bit localization settings, but it is the same hardware.
And after flashing a v20 firmware i can flash a custom rom?
No.

You need an unlocked bootloader. Sadly, we H815P users still don't get a solution to that ?

good question. but i think it would mess imei. ect. if am correct. also just downgrading will brick phone in my variant.
Update can contain Bootloader and Modem especially modem could be the problem if it is not matching your region but who knows. I would recommend using a custom ROM instead

Is there a way to root the G7+(LMG710EAW)?

Hi, is there a way to root the G7+, the international European variant? I see threads for the EM variant, but not for the EAW variant.

Actually, there is a method to root most G7 models, except the T-Mobile one at the moment (G710TM/G710TMP/G710TMO/G710TMP).

The guy appeared 3 days ago I believe while the comment is 5 days ago. Still it's not an official bootloader unlock but the guy seems nice.
