4.4.2 Review and Recommended Apps+Mods+Wallpapers+Guides(UPDATED On 6/20/14)

Perfomance
Using My phone with 4.4.2 for about 2 days,I must say the overall smoothness and fluidity as compared to 4.1.2 has been greatly improved. Stability of the system has been increased, no lag at all.. as far as the benchmarks goes, I have been getting low scores as compared to 4.1.2(samples in attachments)
Battery
You can say that Battery timing has been improved in kitkat, I managed to get almost 4 and a half hour of screen on time whereas on jellybean I usually got maximum 4 hours with the same usage(samples in attachments)
I think that the Camera has also improved..
One more thing Battery Gets charged quickly as compaed to 4.1 with same charger..
I have not yet rooted my phone or installed any thing to save battery and during testing ECO mode was not enabled.

Well according to the details you have mentioned, it seems like that the battery performance have been improved very much, that is a really good thing regarding the update, thanks for sharing.:good:

And I also forget to mention that the phone standby has also been improved, I left my phone over night and when I woke up only 1% was lost. I think its great!!:laugh:

please put a screenshot from the laucher. (not drawer) , and from the keyboard. i find the keyboard very ugly.. and the launcher icons (the doc) way to up...
and what theme do you use? because i see changed icons ^^ .

That's a shame..especially when they were advertised all over the place and left ppl in anticipation...

Knock off can be achieved with a simple xposed module guys

Well more than knock off i was interested in having knock on feature to turn the screen on...because it's a pain to turn the screen on every time by pressing the power button which is oddly located and i am wary of it breaking it sometime due to the constant use...

I think the theme is MoonShine G3 from Lg G2 forum and thanks Will put launcher and keyboard screenshot, you are right the keyboard is kind of ugly..

Can confirm, no 2g only 3g and automatically (4g also i guess, can t test)
Battery is ok, but mp decission is pretty confused, sometimes al 4 cores online without doing anything. Let s hope final build will work as it should.

From here you can turn of thermal throttling by turning on Thermal Daemon Property OFF and High Temperature Property OFF and get higher antutu scores. I just got 21400

hmm..aparently if you swipe up at the doc there is some application that let you launch others apps. can you identify in system/app what is her name? maybe if we delete/disable the doc will go down where it belongs..

yes. how can we delete that s**t? maybe the doc will go down if we delete. i mean..i saw in ui ..for example after i made some cleaning in system/app ..that the task manager window went down. (long press home) ... like it should.

1)after booting if i want 2 join in google account - HTC Sense Input error
if i want 2 write an sms - no problem, keybord doesnt FC
after choosing in settings - lang&input - android keyboard (AOSP) manually - works fine
2) One gallery doesn't supported on your device
3) first launch Antutu - reboot

notify HTC hallery is appeared.. if you press on notification, ONe gallery screen propose tap to next
and when we do it, play store is loading and show app "One Gallery" with "!" below
! your divece isn't compatible with this version

when swiping left on the home screen, we see "highlights" screen. If i want to refresh news on it , notific bar say that "autorization problem" with this window

it "adv sett" i see the same picture (chinesse text)

If so eone can port stock lib then maybe yes for now no

It does support dual Sim.
Adaptive brightness doesn't work, keep waking up to 0 brightness
Doesn't pass safety net. Had to change props fingerprint for it to pass.
Other than that, fast and battery consumption is quite good. I like the clean look of pixel experience rom.
Edit: after switch back and forth between manual and auto brightness, adaptive brightness became good.

If it doesn't say, then it's H930. Especially since the post before you talks about dual SIM card. H932 does not have dual SIM card capability.

After first time set up the phone and boot to home screen, I got the message "phone is starting", I waited for about 10 mins but nothing happen more, the process still ocur. How to fix this?
edit : problem solved by reflashed without gapps, thanks for nice rom!!
edit 2 : could not get Magisk to work, the app is dissapeared after flashed via TWRP.
p/s : would you mind adding double tap and status bar editor to your rom?

Twrp disappeared happen here and there or to the other rom download app and install it and reboot.
Pixel experience is really a clean slick beautiful sexy rom that not much of the so call customize. If you prefer tons of customize go for havoc , rr , bootlopper , etc if you prefer clean Los , pixel ex etc

Sorry If it's much to you, but I honestly think double tap to sleep/wake is one of the best feature, it's the first thing I wonder everytime I consider a rom. It's just my opinion. Any way, thanks for your nice rom with good battery life and pretty smooth.

The rom is good so far, but most of my games cannot load and keep freezing/crashing (I'm playing Asphalt 9 and Arena of Valor).

I play asphalt 9 I play aov I play mlbb I play arpg I play pubg I play all high demand game but all works smooth

Yup double tap to wake does work.
Magisk, viper4audio, ainur sauron, adaway all works.
Nova launcher + Fluid NG- gesture navigation works really well on this too.
I highly recommend Fluid NG, disable nav bar and you have a very clean UI
Slim, clean, slick, fast and battery life is excellent.

Tried Apex and Nova launcher with "double tap to sleep" feature, it works, but the screen start flickering everytime I tap the screen to off. Does anyone know which cause this please teach me to solve I very appriciate

No extras will be added to this rom as it's meant to be a copy of the Google Pixel 3. Hence Pixel Experience Rom.

there is new fire hound game booster coming to aosp roms by default that is almost same as miui game booster. syberia will have it in the next build. i dont know which which rom has it though

I like the ui, the fps meter you can access messages n whatapp while being in game via small window.
N yes the screen recorder with system sound option.

Lol, if you optimize MIUI it's the same or better than AOSP. I mean I get almost always over 10 hours of SOT.

Even so, I see for myself no reason to go through the hassle and unlocking my bootloader. The newest MIUI Pie performs well enough for me and I not notice any lag. And pure AOSP would be useless for me, since I need Google for my backups and alot of savegames from my games I play and of course for the games themselves since MicroG can't emulate the PlayGames Api. And last I can't compare a Performance difference to any Other phone, since my last phone before I bought my Note 5 last year in october, was an old Galaxy S4, so I didn't know how any phone performs between the S4 I had and my Note 5 and anything above of course, since flagships are way out of what I'm willing to pay for a Smartphone. And since I love to have a certified phone and don't like Magisk, I prefer Stock anyway without any modifications. The only thing I do is that I disable some useless Apps through Adb like Chrome or Play Music/Movies and my adblock comes from Blokada, that's it and I'm happy with it.

[GUIDE] Remove Fingerprint Animation (for faster unlock)

Hello!
For everyone who wants to remove the fingerprint animation, that greatly decreases the time to unlock the device, you just have to:
1 - Install the app Settings Database Editor
2 - Open the app
3 - Touch on "+ Add new setting"
4 - Type fod_animation_type
5 - Save changes
6 - Set 4 as value
7 - Save changes
8 - Done
This app does not require root.
To enable the animation again just remove that setting or edit the value (to 1 or 2 or even 3)

Useful instruction, I think many will come in handy and like it. Only the speed does not seem to affect, either for the better or for the worse. But still, turning off the animation - a useful thing).

Why u bought mi a3 if u didn't want stock android ?

The speed gain from this is minimal, though without the animation you can tell that the delay is probably the software's fault and not the sensors . Just put your finger on the sensor and remove it immediately. You 'll see that it unlocks but with the same delay as if you had your finger on it. So from my point of view there's still hope for a faster unlock on a future update.

Wish there was a way to remove vibration. Sometimes i dont want to unlock, but it must vibrate.

Go to Settings - Accessibility - Vibration and set Touch Vibration to off.
