Works fine on 6045K.
Did you follow the flash procedure, and did you use the "AROMA OPEN Gapps for 5.1.1 64-bit"?
Try flashing the ARDE CM kernel.
For example:It causes lots of random reboots on 6045K,but fixes them in 6045Y and some other variants.
And if you dont want the ARDE kernel, flash the boot.img from any CM12.1 rom which doesnt bootloop for you.

Already did, works fine with arde kernel.
Yup, used Open Gapps, those are my all time favourite!
It's really bothersome to have this issue where one model variant works when the other one doesn't, though.
I'll test this thoroughly, anyway.

I am mad that some variants cant even use the ARDE kernel,in my case as well.
Kernel source should`ve been divided for 2 groups of Idol 3 5.5" variants in the beginning, because this just isn`t right...

What features are in this rom ? What doesn't work ?
Thank you for your effort making it.

Going definitely back to CM!
Setup is a little tricky, because it constantly crashed on the NFC tap to go part (hitting "ignore" makes GPS crash and reset the setup).
When the setup is bypassed, everything else looks rather the same as before, not a single visible difference from CM, except for ONE THING:
10/10 IGN WOULD APPROVE / BANG
Camera, sound, bluetooth AND NFC work all correctly.
ye olde "22201" carrier bug is nonetheless present and well alive deep into every build.
BTW: It's fairly easy to make the ARDE kernel in the first place, I already managed to get 1,8 GHz out of my phone more than once, the only problem being I'm not skilled enough to fix these boot-loops in the first place. I'm rather curious as to why no one has yet overclocked the GPU to 650ish MHz or more, it's easy dammit!

Battery life is horrible??
I used my phone for facebook, videos from 7:00 till 14:30,and the battery fell from 80% to 60%.
if that is bad, then I am an aeroplane.
I know how to make a kernel support OC,but the main part of ARDE kernel is the KCAL support, which I dont know how to integrate.

I'm not saying it's bad! I'm just saying that 3926% just seems a little wrong to me.

I'm downloading.
The Marionette in your signature is an entry backup cm 12.1 them there is a building dated 07/12/15 I still have version 28.11.15 what are the differences?
Edit :I tried but it should be in continuous reboot.
You can create a zip file to install boot.img?

You can flash boot.img in TWRP.

Initially used aroma version of open gapps and setup crashed when trying to skip tap and go. Also had the weird battery %. Switched to open gapps nano and setup went fine and battery % is normal. ROM is very smooth and fast. Everything seems to work with no reboots.

Thanks but I had already solved. I tried but I do not see anything that I would encourage you to change the CM.

Flashed this, and also flashed the nano gapps, wouldn't boot til I flashed the kernel that you provided for the cm rom in the forums.
It wouldn't go past setup, so I installed the aroma gapps, and also went into recovery and deleted setupwizard. That worked, and its working very very fast I will say that the battery percentage thing is happening for me at the moment

I want to make a variety of roms available for this device. Everyone can choose this way.
To me,after running this rom for 2 days,it is a bit snappier than CM builds(most likely because it was built using the LINARO toolchain)

I had that FC problem with pico gapps.
I did a factory reset, flashed the rom,and then flashed the AROMA gapps, and there were no FCs in the Setup Wizard.
Its a bit tricky,I know...

Thanks for your effort much appreciated, suppose you have also already thought of a ported BlissPop guess.

I am trying to get NamelessRom atm.
I have a 500 GB hard drive, and with only the CM and Vanir repos on my PC,its almost full. NamelessRom,and maybe Blisspop will be possible, since those two can be linked with the CM files already on my PC.
But Euphoria isn't possible for our device for the time being(while trying to build it,I get an error I can't fix).

I know they are,but not all of them support MSM8916. For example,Euphoria-legacy has to support, but it gives out errors.
And also,I still do not know what is taking away my hard drives memory. The CM and Vanir folders together take up 140 GB. I have no downloads, this is a laptop meant for rom building, and something is taking up 200 GB(something I can't locate)

okay rom is now uploaded onto basketbuild. Please follow link in post 2.
i recommend clean flash from another rom as usual. If dirty flashing in the future there is no necessity to flash gapps again, however sometime i do notice supersu goes a bit funny so i would recommend reflashing supersu just to be safe. failing that you can just install it again from market and cause it to update via openrecovery script.
awesome !!! love this rom on my N6 . and now also on my N9 thanks !!!
Currently going through 2nd attempt at flashing. Used 64-bit GApps and linked SuperSU. Followed instructions for coming from another ROM. 20 minutes passed without a boot so I'll attempt again without flashing SuperSU until it (hopefully) boots up and I complete the setup screen.

Guessing it went well this time round might make a change to the op to not recommend SuperSU flash on clean flash
I know the change log is on the device once you flash the ROM. But I would like to know the changes that have been made besides what is in CM12 already.
Err... Far to many to list. Notification tweaks, button tweaks, stylus options, status bar options as well as others in temasek spare parts. That is a cm12 theme the standard colors would be regular cm in the attached screenahot
Does LTE work on this ROM?
Alright. Thanks man. I'll just flash it and play around
Edit:: Flashed it. Everything running great. One thing I have been looking for in several ROMs is the ability to put the nav bar on one side while in landscape. I kinda sucks having the bar at the bottom of my screen when it would be much more convenient right by one of my hands whole holding in it landscape. Is that possible here or in any rom yet.

My apologies for the late response, I fell asleep earlier than normal.
It never ended up getting to the setup screen. I wonder if this has something to do with the format of the system partition.

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also 3 non-AOSP features for a better user experience (Advanced Reboot, "Clear All" button in Recents and an option to delete screenshots from the notification area) and I'm NOT going to add something other.

I didn't notice that. The phone freezes ? It appends when you wake up the phone ?
Cores from little cluster should be still online cause the phone can't run without at least one core online.
Also, did you flash/install something like scripts or kernel apps after flashing the ROM ?

This is kinda strange... Since Moto stock roms are pretty close to pure android...

AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to LineageOS when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or LineageOS team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't LineageOS supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Don't disable Heads-Up. You wont be able to answer phone calls otherwise.
You tell...
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Nougat. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows LineageOS source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.
If you want to contribute to the AICP or wanna see what is being worked on/merge feel free to visit our gerrit, link is at the bottom!!!

Sorry, haven't had much time to do any ROM development. But I did make a build for d2spr.
So expect an AICP build for d2att sometime this week. Sorry for the wait. :good:
That sounds like great news to a Flashaholic such as myself! Glad to hear it man! But hey!..you gotta what you gotta do, no worries here! Thanks.
By the way; what kind of feedback did you get from the d2spr build? Positive? perhaps I better move over to that thread and find out for myself...Yup:good: the thing to do.

D2 threads are pretty much dead, through out all variants. Lol. :crying:
But I myself own a d2spr, so I flash those builds before I upload, I could say, it's running better than RR :good:

Not sure but It seems that the build is either not recognizing my sim or there's something wrong with picking up cellular networks...The entire thing in Mobile network settings is grayed-out at any rate....the sim works fine on my test phone, which is currently running Carbon-Rom 7.xx. I'd switched the sim to that phone so I could run this on my DD so today I inserted the sim in this one and ....NO SERVICE....retried a couple times but nothing. BUT OTHER THAN THAT!!!.... geez!! I love this ROM!! Thanks Skatter as usual..Great Work! :good: it's smooth as butter.....Let me know how I can assist with this issue; I'll try installing it on the crash-dummy (Test-Phone) first and see if the problem persists, I'll let you know how that went soon.

Alright, probably due to the vendors, I'll resync & build asap. ?
And glad you love it, this is why I hate doing blind builds tho tbh. But I'll try to get it working next build.
Same issue. d2tmo.
XPOSED works with this rom.

Great Bro:good: Actually still running it anyway! everything else seem to work:laugh: and the crash dummy don't really need a SIM anyhow so
Another thing btw: ( which I found kinda weird ) the initial setup shows this instruction: "The SIM card tray is located on the top left edge of your phone"..No way that could be describing the SGS3  Don't think that's life threatening though
I'm sorry, cant keep up with it.
Thanks for reply Lonelyskatter12! Well, can you update RR for d2att?

Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

Nice to see a new build loved your roms on my old phones. ?
OMG! I just switch from RR 6.2.1 on S9 to a S10 and roms are so bad compared to RR. I hope it will rocks as always
One UI roms are too heavy, cpu is always going crazy and smartphone is hot as hell >_<.
I miss the lack of a led notification on s10, so i'm using LED ME KNOW in Always on Display.. will it works on this rom ? (in EvoX wasn't)
Magisk root / EdXposed will works too ? How is going with the notch hole?
In meantinme, I'm downloading all files needed
In advance,
Thx for the job!
EDIT : installed without this command : "IMPORTANT FIRST STEP BEFORE FLASHING ROM: IN TWRP Recovery go to Advanced > Terminal and type in setprop ro.boot.vbmeta.avb_version 1.1 " twrp 3.3 no setprop function. twrp 3.4 do not work on my s10..
Hope it will be not a problem flashing like that.
Installing things...

PS : I've sent a little for a beer
does it support encryption?

You need to run this so rom can install at all. You can alternatively remove compatibility.zip within the ROM zip itself.
Thanks, im in, and testing. Coming from Havoc ROM which is also pretty good
I did not have to run the command, installed straight away on Modpunk TWRP.
Will run it for the weekend and provide some feedback, thank you very much, so awesome seeing another LOS rom!

Yes
Mine got well without command on S10
Btw.. firsts impressions are very good ! Finally a speedy fluid rom and cellphone is cold.. with hades was a real hellfire >_<;
Installed all i had on s9 RR wanna see how it goes.. battery% need to be calibrated I'll let go in weekend time.
I've tried 90Hz refresh but no evident change so put back to 60Hz.
Under display, I think there is a little bug on slide Minimal brightness level.. even on little put like 70% on light.
Under RR tools -> interface -> ambient options -> Display ambient if u enable Ambient display it actually is off (yesterday i've disabled it and it was on on screen) seem a bit buggy maybe in combo with others settings.
Is there a way to save RR tools settings ? Will be nice feature if implemented.
Had sense on this rom keep using Amplify\Greenify ?
If anyone used to downclock, which app u suggest on this RR?
I'm still figuring out how to have notification as I like..
I dont want Always on screen.. I just want a ledalike notification on screen of the color of the app.
anyone have this configuration\can help ?
Sorry for all question but this rom really my fav !
Chooo
How to implement a magnetic cover in this resurrection firmware?
This rom is good, but i went back to Havoc, seems just slightly more polished.
But both are very good, thank you for uploading, good stuff.
Mixed heavy usage, installing apps...testing etc.. with dowclock to 10xx...... For now battery is running 27h and 8 of screen.. not bad to me (neither a reboot , temp around 32°C.. i think ok with 35°C outside)
Still figuring out about some combo for notifications light..gcam to work etc.. later heavy optizimizing on kernel\services,debloating loggers etc
but for now for my use I'm pretty satisfated

Try downloading a touch testing app and see that when adding a third finger on the screen it cancels one then just moves to the third finger instead of showing 3 in total

@TheBlutarch Appreciate your efforts. I found the ported ROM to be working good. Can you please do a build maybe around after November 5th when the November security patch is released. It's a request and I appreciate your efforts. Keep up the good work.

EASY FIX!!!!
Go to magisk and enable magisk hide and select hide magisk manager it will be renamed to manager reopen it and select magisk hide now select codm cheers!!!!!
Is that rom will be updated?
@TheBlutarch ... first of all thanks for building rr for our phone dev...now the thing is i hav used this rom for considerable amount of time ni personally think features n customisation wise this is d best rom out there n i didnt encounter any major bugs so thumbs up for that,,,but at times i experienced noticable ui lags n phone gets pretty hot on moderate usage ie excluding gaming.
I've used derpgang roms which uses 3x kernel n i gotta say stability n usability wise they are by far the best n im talking about A 10 rons ie DU,PA...n also msm extended uses same kernel n is equally good..
So what im suggesting is can you build rr bases on that kernel ,i just thought it would have been perfect.also i dont know much about rom building stuff so im sorry if im being a noob here..its just a suggestion but i thought it was worth mentioning...once again thank you for sharing this rom n keep up d good work.

I would like to thank the dev of this rom and everyone who supports it. You make me wish not to slam my phone into a wall or break it in halves and for that I am very grateful ?.
All the custom ROMs that I have tried (not all of them) had some heating issue some where or the other e.g., when I used to call anybody my phone used to heat up in the last ROM. On the other hand this ROM is cool. From now on I won't be able to fry an egg on my phone ?.
I thought that AEX and StagOS were cool until I tried RR. There is no lag anyway. The fingerprint may be slow but I am fine with that. I get good SOT plus performance. A well-balanced and recommendable ROM.
Thanks for not making me kms or my phone ?*.
P. S.: There is this issue where when I upload something ,like for example on Google classroom, it doesn't upload the first time but the second time it does. I don't care much of this issue 'cause I'm happy that this is the first ROM that has less issues or non at all. Arigato ?*.
.
I flashed RR yesterday with Magisk and NanoDroid MicroG, today morning when i want to watch some videos on YT my phone hangs, after restart everything is working well.
This is my 2nd try of that rom, first was without back cover which gave me freezes as well. ( I though that was because i don't have back glass and maybe some connectors cause that freezes but i have that now too.)
@TheBlutarch. Downloaded and using RR v.8.6.4 by you. It's great. Keep up the great work. I hope you keep updating it regularly . Appreciate your efforts.
