help needed for canvas A1 .."Checking connection ... This might take a while.... "
hi all,
My canvas A1 is running on android 6 marshmallow, few days ago i did a Factory reset on my phone, while the phone was rebooting after wiping all the data , It asked to setup sim card and WiFi after i entered the WiFi password it connected properly and the screen showed "Checking connection.. This might take a while.." .. so i waited but it is remaining is that screen, there is no option to skip that setting.... I have tried rebooting from recovery.. wiping cache partition but again it is struck on that screen.... ............... when i googled about this i saw same problem has happened to some Nexus devices also .. but they are not mentioning any solutions for this.. so If anyone has any idea please help....
Thanks in advance........

hx2410 stuck at boot screen

Hi! I have recently flashed my hp ipaq hx2410 to wm2005, the update process went fine but the device doesn't boot anymore. It shows the loading bar and it gets stuck when it fills up. I have tried hard reseting it but the problem persists. I can't flash it because active sync doesn't "see" it anymore... just a local area connection X - limited or no conectivity. What can I do ? Is there a way to boot the device in some sort of flash mode or something? Thank you very much
I had to do hard reset about 3 times when upgrading my hx2490B.

I have done a lot of hard resets but the device still gets stuck.
Another thing... I did not hard reset the device before de WM05 rom update. I thought it should do that by itself.
And second... If I get it to work I want to flash it to WM06. I have the rom but are there some special steps to be followed for this update ?
My pda still gets stuck in the bootloader and then the backlight turns off. Should I leave it that way untill the battery is completely flat ?
Some people say that removing the battery for 24 hours may help.
Try that.
When i flashed my 2490 i did format the device and than did the flash.
But I don't think that matters cause the first time when i did flash i didn't format the drive and it was OK.

I'll remove the battery then and see tommorow. The main question is: is my device completely dead or is it "resurectable" ? I don't think that it need servicing .... but ... just asking
Thank you for the replies. If the batterry removal fix works I'll post here. In the meantime any other possible sollutions are welcome.
My pda still doesn't boot. I have removed the battery for 24 hours and nothing. I have drained the battery and nothing. Did numerous hard resets and still no result. Can anyone help me ?
Just an idea (since I had to do this yesterday) maybe try formatting the device.
After flashing 4PDA ROM to my device it would get stack on the same screen as yours. After formatting it all went OK and I had WM6.
For my device I had to click calender + power + messaging + reset, release reset - release all.

This is a common issue with jb4.1.2, I assume ur on a stock rom? What u could do is root the phone, install a custom recovery, make a data only backup and wipe data partition, then restore the data backup u made, sometimes it'll get u out of it, unfortunetly its an issue in the actual firmware of the phone so no real fix...

Try flashing the stock from the computer. Don't factory reset it. That might help you maybe.

Smartwatch 2 restarting, help please

Hello all,
I just got my sw2 repaired from a water damage situation and yesterday I connected it to my galaxy s4 and tried installing some watch faces, since then its acting up. It keeps restatrting and booting up and fails to proper boot but if I try to manually shut it down it starts fine and shows time but if I then try to goto settings or try its touch screen it gets unresponsive and goes into the same restart endless bootloop again.
I guess its a software issue as I've googled it and found many suffering the same bug.
I'm on windows 10 x64 so if someone could please help me reflashing it, ill be very thankful.
P.s I also tried resetting it once via settings but it didn't help at all.
Thanks in advance.

Just in case someone will eventually face the same issue: solution is to flash again firmware : http://support.planetcom.co.uk/index.php/Android_Flashing_Guide
I thought that it was not going to admit the process of flashing in this status , but it does.
