Only 35mb? Should be a larger file.
Never mind I should have read it better.

So is this an employee edition only thing? Soak test? Or is everyone going to get it. It's not showing on the standard turbo 2.

Did you happen to grab the URL of the OTAs?

It must be a soak test because this is all I'm getting.

Relax Mr passive aggressive. Just because you didn't have it at that moment doesn't mean it is or isn't a soak. That's not answering a question. Anyhow, cheers to getting MM soon

And to the OP, please report back on your battery life after upgrading!

I was just trying to be helpful and contribute something positive to this thread, which clearly you haven't done. Instead, you started out acting passive aggressive towards myself by belittling my comment and, in turn, contributing only negativity. If you had wanted to be helpful you could have simply said, "Actually there was a report of a soak test yesterday. So it's definitely a soak." And left it at that. Either way, I'm done arguing about this.
Now, I bid you...... adieu....

Thank you. I was asking because I haven't heard anything apart from employees getting the update, so I wasn't sure if regular T2 owners would be getting it at the same time.

Hallelujah! This is a really good sign that the soak test announced Thursday/Friday might really be for Marshmallow!
On the other hand, I responded and took the survey for the soak test literally 30 minutes after they notified me that I was eligible to participate on Thursday, and I still have no update pushed to my phone

Pointless thread, but how come you're only getting around 10407? I'm getting 10700 to 11100.
11937 ran once. Using franco's kernel #5.
Enough of this " is pointless thread/post" crap people love to post everytime any benchmark is mentioned. Those posts are actually pointless. If you are not interested stay away. Its not harming anyone.
Here are couple. Will post Antutu later . Antutu is very temperature sensitive. My phone is charging currently, so running hotter.
Both on Insert coin rom with Franco kernel.

No need to get snarky. You yourself said that nobody cared and I was simply agreeing with your opinion. If nobody cares *about* (note - not *of*) my post then logic dictates the same about your original post. You can can't have it both ways. Anyway, this post (and yours) are both just as irrelevant to the real world.

It's 1000 mAh according to the Indigogo page.
I see, so you can expect a real life charge of about 700mAh if this unit has a efficiency of about 70% ?

Review samples will be sent in October when we will run first production.
Id love to test these out, let me know if I can join. I been a member for a long time on here. I love showing off new gadgets and this is something that can be easily shown off.

Backwards spen insertion?

Has anyone ever done it on their note 4?
it does go in pretty easy. idk why, on youtube when i watched, it cant fit, mine does, i didnt try it all the way bc i was scared, but when i put it in a little, it gives me notification sped detached and inserted.. does yout fit in easy? thanks
Take heed; the power of suggestion is powerful on this one. Don't go dark side.
The funniest reply I read on the subject was that, "Samsung can't make this idiot-proof because someone else will make a better idiot!"-LOL.
How many people reading this never even thought of backwards install and tried it anyway? We should really just take others at their word. It is possible but don't do it; you could seriously break the usability of the S-Pen but only have yourself to blame for it.
Cannot believe one editor done this on a Note 5 test loaner and begged Samsung for a response. May as well admit it, you're a bigger idiot than Samsung imagined possible if you can't resist the temptation to find out for yourself and don't know when to stop. Better to not start in the first place; let the examples already given suffice an answer.

For those wondering, this shows exactly what happens when it goes in wrong on the Note 5. That little plastic finger gets caught on the pointlessly fancy new removal mechanism. If the new S-Pen didn't have that thing on the back end of it, there wouldn't be anything for the plastic lever to catch (and break off) on.

Wow, you'd have to shove it in almost all the way. So you not only have to be stupid, you have to be insanely stupid.
Anyway, if you don't know "pointy end goes in hole", you're going to have more problems in your life than just with your phone.

Here's where the skipped generation design proof of reliability gets my attention. I liked the idea because it meant the huge notch in case backs could be removed for appearance's sake. My wife being an iPhone fan, that excessive case cutout was the only thing that got her attention when I got the Note 4-my first Note.
Now there's a year to determine the fallout and improve on next generation or nix it for the better. Same for the sealed case vs removable cover for ExtSdCard and replaceable battery. Watching the verdicts with interest; glad I skipped this generation.

From Reddit, here's one way to fix the problem that makes sense. The other idea floating around (make the head bigger) wouldn't work because you couldn't press it in to click it. This fix would work, but it would be pretty odd looking having 2 gaps where the top is flush with the phone.

I almost did it once on my Note 3 my first day with it. Almost. Caught myself and knew it likely wouldn't be good if it got stuck. Haven't done it since and watch what I'm doing whenever I put the pen back. If I ever need to move to the Note 5 that diligence will pay off.

Brilliant solution. I hope all the carriers have been trained in this procedure. They're going to be using.
The crying (of foul or otherwise) is coming from those who tried to force it out and broke their device or are trying to drum up hits for their site.
