Anyone get GTA 3 running smooth?

Just curious to see if anyone has the game running smooth? If so then what rom are you running or tricks you used?
Not really possible with only a 1ghz processor and no gpu.
Oo I was hoping it was possible. Sux

The evo has an adreno 200 gpu, GTA runs like crap because there isn't enough free RAM after the system and apps load the evo actually has a better CPU and higher clock speed and better GPU than a ps2 does but only half the RAM and that's before the phone is booted the ps2 is clocked at 800mhz and has a crap GPU with only 128mb dedicated graphical RAM but has 1024mb (1gb) ddr2 or 3 system RAM if the evo had 1gb+ RAM GTA3 would have no issues running, it runs pretty good on the evo on a stripped down AOSP ROM with no extras running like Widgets fancy launchers background apps etc
We are legion, for we are many
It runs pretty good on decks with only necessary apps and none open
Having trouble with AOSP? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1295702

LMAO where did you pull these specs from?
PS2 runs at ~300mhz and has 32mb of ram....
even the PS3 only has 256mb of system ram and 256mb of video ram.

1.8ghz vs 2.3ghz

There are two variants of 4gig model
1.8 and 2.3 .
I wanna know how much difference is there between them ?

The extra 2gb makes all the difference. 1.8 vs 2.3 isn't much of a factor. If 64gb and a quick charger is worth $60 to you, then the extra cpu speed is a bonus.
You will probably see the difference in gaming, multitasking and power hungry apps.
The thing is you can clock down the cpu with a 2.3 but you cannot overclock a 1.8 to 2.3.
are there?, we are talking about z551 right?, from what I knew, the 1.8ghz model only have 2gb ram, while buying the 4gb ram one gives you 2.3ghz proc. But CMIIW.

I dont see difference between 1.8 and 2.3GHz. I usually underclock the Z3580 to 1.83GHz (less, sometimes), and I dont feel drop in the smoothness.
If you can spend some more, its better you go with the 2.3GHz Model.

Does the cheaper/slower model have any battery life advantage?

I am curious about the 1.8GHz/16GB ZE551ML. Does it have any advantages over the 2.3GHz/64GB model?
1.83 ghz model has better standby time due to cpu clock.
i have both of them the 4gb ram & 1.83 mhz model. ( rare to found lower cpu and 4gb) and 2.3ghz 4gb model. Model nubers same ze551
