Update: dark themes for twrp 3.0.0
Here is the link :-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/themes/theme-twrp-3-0-0-0-dark-stock-colors-t3310235
Materialize your twrp 2.8.7
Download the theme as your wish from the below link and dont use multirom ...... I only tested simple zip
https://s.basketbuild.com/devs/z31s1g/1080/TWRP 287X_v1
How to...
...install the theme:
The theme zips are not flashable. First installation has to be done manually:
Download the theme of your choice and rename it to "ui.zip".
On SD card (if device has internal and external storage, use the internal) open TWRP folder and create a folder called "theme", without capital letters.
Copy ui.zip to theme folder.
Restart to recovery.
Change the theme:
In Materialised settings, select CHANGE THEME.
Select the theme zip you want to use.
Confirm the change.
remove the theme:
In Materialised settings, select the delete icon on the app bar.
Confirm the removal.
Alternatively, delete the ui.zip from /sdcard/TWRP/theme with a file explorer.
install image files while in recovery:
The theme currently utilises the Flashify script by @osm0sis to install boot, radio and recovery images.
The script comes with the theme and will automatically be installed to /sdcard/TWRP/flashify if required.
On the Install page, tap on Install Zip.
Select Install Image.
Select the .img file you want to flash.
Select the image type.
This selection determines the target partition. Make sure not to flash a radio.img to the boot partition...
Start flashing with a swipe.
I am not the dev the real dev of twrp theming is @ z31s1g

[ROM]MIUI 4 For LG Optimus Me P350

This is not my ROM. It has been compiled by my friend Ahmet Yasin Akkurt.
This ROM is similar to every MIUI ROM.
Known issues:
- not fully translated
- themes working partially
Tips:
1. If your lockscreen is not MDPI, and you can't unlock your phone, press BACK button and VOLUME UP together then press MENU button (left one).
2. You can get themes from http://www.miuithemes.com/
3. Lockscreens: http://www.angeeks.com/thread-1980302-1-1.html
4. MIUI Clocks: www.mediafire.com/?dd5hm5af4muips7 5. If you wanna have working HDPI themes, download MiLocker and apply therein themes which you download earlier in Themes app. It will be in MDPI all.
Screenshots are attached below.
How To Flash
Download ROM and place in the root of SD card
Boot into recovery
Go to install zip from SD card>Choose zip from SD card and select the ROM zip file
Go back and wipe all data/factory reset.
Go back again and select "Reboost system now"
The icons are quite large, so you can download MIU Launcher APK from here http://www.mediafire.com/?c2m3pqen84kvehh

[LOCKRING][ZIPTHEMER] MIL-DOT Reticle lockring for CM10 (others?)

Here's a lockring I made with the MIL-DOT reticle. It's white then turns red when you drag it on top of a target. It will work with CM Jellybean ROMs for sure (I've tested on CM10.1). Probably will work with CM ICS ROMs and maybe some other non CM ROMs as well but I can't say for sure as I've not tested them.
It's a zipthemer file, some instructions on how to use zipthemer at the bottom of the post.
Download file

***How to use Zipthemer***
note: you may need a ROM you have flashed in order to configure your edify script (this is the script that tells the recovery what to do when you run your update.zip file)
1. Install zipthemer from the play store! It's free!!
2. Open up the menu and click on update edify (you will only have to do this once)
3. Updating Edify screen (complete either Option 1 or Option 2)
- option 1: browse to the ROM you have on your phone and click it -- done
- option 2: click on download, then exit out of the screen, click options, settings, update script format, select your phone. If your phone isn't present, see option 1.
4. Download the zipthemer file in my post, and using a file explorer, move it to the "zipthemer" folder on your sd card.
5. open zipthemer again, click the "+theme" button, select the theme you want to apply
6. click "*output" button and pick the name you want for your update file (or accept the default). Leave the "-update.zip" at the end of the file name and "/sdcard/" at the beginning so it will be in your sdcard root directory and easier to find when you go to flash it.
7. click "build it!", it will ask you if you want to create a backup file, I usually do just in case so I don't have to re-flash the entire ROM to undo my changes if I want to.
8. Exit zipthemer, reboot to recovery, flash your new zip file, reboot system, enjoy!
more notes:
a. as always, it's a pretty good idea to run a nandroid anytime you play with your system (this is a do as I say, not as I do kinda statement)
b. A lot of these type of themes where some system files are modified or system apps are modified, it's good to do a wipe dalvik/cache
c. if you update your ROM to a new nightly/RC/stable, re-build the zipthemer file. It's likely that this isn't necessary, but unless you know just what the CM team changed it's probably a good idea.
Nice! :thumbup:

[Bootscreen] bios boot screen

I came across a bios boot screen on a dutch forum. I liked it very much but couldn't find a good one for the i9300. Now I managed to do that, I ported it to the i9000. So here it is!
BIOS BOOT ANIMATION:
EXAMPLE:

Make your choice lol:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sitesearch.php?q=energy star bios bootanimation
That bootanim exists everywhere, maybe the most diffused ever.
I wanted to make a cwm zip for you but after having a look in the bootanimation.zip from here you can be sure it won't work (someone tested it?Not even sure your device will boot,pretty rare to be that buggy for a bootanim..)
I found one Samsung Galaxy S tagged, only bad side is that it's maybe a little too fast (30fps) we could reduce that later if you want.
For now if you want to test here's a cwm zip that will push it to data/local (I prefer it like this, that way you'll keep your bootanim even if you upgrade your rom unless you wipe data).

Thanks! remind me of my old PC
is it good for i9001 too? it's my first boot animation...

[TUTORIAL][SOFTKEYS] Change Softkeys at GNex with ZipThemer and without (CM11)

The Problem at CM11 is that the SoftkeyZ app doesnt work.
This is baecause of the following problem:
The folder is normally /system/app (for SoftkeyZ),
but in cm11 it is /system/priv-app.
But it can be done manually by two Methods.
Not only for CM11
You need :
-Root Explorer
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.speedsoftware.rootexplorer&hl=de
First Method:
Now:
-Go to /system/priv-app/SystemUI.apk
-Extract to sd card
-Go to folder of the softkey you downloaded and put the .png files to :
/SystemUI/res/drawable-xhdpi
-Paste them and overwrite the old files.
-Zip the SystemUI folder with the new data.
-Go to SystemUI.zip and rename "SystemUI.zip" to "SystemUI.apk".
-Put the renamed SystemUI.apk to the /system/priv-app.
-Overwrite the old SystemUI.apk.
-Reboot manually ( the SystemUI.apk is mostly crashed at the first time doing this).
-After reboot set permissions of the SystemUI.apk to rw-r-r
Second Method: (Tested only at CM11)
ZipThemer is usable with this Method and you can make FLASHABLE ZIPS!
-Download the softkeys you want
- Extract them .
- Go to folder of the extracted
- There is one folder named "SystemUI" and a "nameofsoftkeys.xml"
- Open the .xml file with Text editor it look like this :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
- Then change the line "<path>/system/app/</path>" to "<path>/system/priv-app/</path>"
- Save settings and go back. (delete the "nameofsoftkeys.xml.bak")
- Zip the folder where the SystemUI folder and the .xml file is included
- Go to Zipthemer (NOTE: Extras -> Update Edify -> browse for actually ROM -> Configure !! If not it may not work.)
- Go back to ZipThemer and search at "+Theme" for the new Zip
- Build it. And then go to Recovery and flash the zip. If this doesn't work then flash the undo.zip to reactivate the old softkeys.
Done
Screenshots can be posted here. :good:

TWRP 2.8.2.0 for Xolo q1010i

TWRP 2.8.2.0 ported to Xolo q1010i
To reduce the size of recovery the images are compresed a bit and 'black and white'-ed so the default theme looks ugly (or could be buggy)
Don't worry about overlapping of recovery on other partition because the recovery is 2KB less than 6MB
( 6MB=6144KB but recovery is 6142KB )

But I recommend you all to use the materialized TWRP theme from here (PRESS THANKS ON HIS THREAD TOO)-> http://goo.gl/uWESCk
Code:
On the Materialized TWRP thread follow the below given path
[720x1280 themes folder -> TWRP 282X-> 720_play/720_light/720_dark
[COLOR="Red"]Don’t chose multirom.[/COLOR]
My personal choice is 720_play theme.
Rename the theme to ui.zip
Put the theme in /InternalStorage/TWRP/theme/
Procedure to flash TWRP :
Flash the recovery.img through SP Flashtool or MobileUncle tools app
Bugs :
Mass Storage is broken
DON'T FORGET TO PRESS THANKS :good:
Is this a theme or whole recovery?
