You'll just get fanboy answers since its new and theres nothing stable. The work on CM took double digit versions before it was halfway usable and there still was a serious functionality issue (wifi not waking up) during that time. And CM was the most well known unofficial rom here with the highest user participation on reporting bugs and workarounds.
Probably best to stick with older more stable roms unless you don't need your phone for anything important.

CM is the best bro
Anyway mokee is also good one . But cm is the best .

Well then i may ask: what is the best stable rom (any version)?

cm11 may be suitable for daily used

i have tried almost all roms... and found below to be used as daily driver.......
Kitkat:
smiui
tesla
mokee44
Lollipop:
Mokee51 release version
Bliss
minimal
liquidsmooth
fusion
resurrection remix
tipsy
crdroid
Marshmallowby far)

CM 12.1 as daily driver

There are some unofficial CM12.1 builds for our lovely ZL, one in the development section in this forum and some unofficial builds by freexp ( http://fxpblog.co/cyanogenmod/cyanogenmod-12.1/).
I'm going to switch to CM cause I don't believe sony will ever release 5.1 or at least a stagefright patch for our phone.
Is anyone using 12.1 as a daily driver? Are the builds running stable? Is there something that holds you back from using CM?
Thanks for your opinions!
Hi. I'm on cm12.1 for a month and its working fine.

Thank you! Any idea where to get a recent build? Fxp is a month old and in the build by qsnc some things are broken (chrome?).
I'd like to build it myself, but since I have a bandwith of exactly 384kb/s it would take years to download cm source....
I'm compiling my own. ☺
You can try the version on the radio active time fix thread.
It´s ok not the best !!!

I installed CM 12.1 from official CM site and run pretty good, sometimes i think that phone its over heating, especially when im playing some memory drain game. I trying now back to Stock 5.1.1 (xperiafirmware) but have problen when try to flash TFT in flashtool.
In my opinion, i prefer stock than CM 12.1, but its only my mind. (excuses for my horrible english)

stock base because it is more stable
Cm based and aosp based are equally stable in my opinion. Only thing I think aosp has over cm is that cm starts to lag after a few days and needs a reboot for some reason but aosp doesn't have that nice and easy cm theme engine which after perfected just works great compared to layers pro. There's a few pro's and con's of each but in the end it's a horse a piece. just pick the rom you would most like to build. If it were me personally and i had the energy and ambition to learn to make 1 I would personally make a candy six rom(it was cm13 based and has now moved over to aosp base with layers pro) and i miss it.

OrionOS is preety stabe
Thanks guys, really appreciate it.
And they also with 7.0.x?
Tesla N (looks childish is that the normal theme?)
Tesla N is official and stable but has a few very minor bugs(which are. Also present in all other N ROMs at this stage.
Still Tesla would be your best option. For the theme, you may flash the Pixel Launcher and stuff and you can be more stock.

All AOSP ROMs are CM based so unless you're running OOS, you'll be running some sort of cm based ROM. Also OOS is a lot more stable and has a better camera than CM/AOSP. Pretty much everything else is the same
I'd recommend Tesla N. Camera sucks on this ROM but I use a ported OOS camera app. There's minor issues with the ROM but you can really use it as a daily driver.

Not all AOSP roms are based on cm. There are many non cm based roms available for op3 like slim, pa, orionos, tesla, and more.
Most of them are fast and stable so try to find one that suits your preferences.

Hmm I thought the underlying base was cm and then it the respective devs customize it to their liking... Well at least it was like that on the S6 but probs different since we actually have all the sources for this phone.

Many custom ROMs are based on CM, which is itself based on AOSP but heavily customised. There are a number of other custom ROMs as previously mentioned that are based directly on AOSP code.
We don't really have all sources for this phone. OnePlus has only released the essential sources (kernel, dash charge, etc).

Stable Marshmallow (or higher) rom for D852 suggestions?

My brother has a G3, but with LG's default 6.0.1 it's ridiculously sluggish, and hogs ram. He has the 3gb variant, and before apps are installed, it hogs almost 2gb of it. But my Mi3 which has cm13 on it, uses just 550mb. So my goal is to help find him something that isn't so bogged down with bloat and hopefully close to stock Android.
Unfortunately though, the latest cm snapshot for G3 is Lollipop, with nightly Nouget releases. He wants to stick to Marshmallow though.
So if anyone has experience flashing on this phone, have you found any super stable marshmallow roms?
Thanks

Either Fulmics ROM or cm 13
Cm 13 is stable enough to use as a daily driver. I have the cm 14.1 and it's running ever-so greatly

Alright, definitely going to look into them, thanks I've never used CM outside of snapshots though. Can you update nightlys from the phone, or do you have to keep flashing them in recovery? 14.1 sounds appealing, haven't run into any massive bugs or problems with it..?

Yes, you can download the nightlies from the phone. Cm 14.1 doesn't have much bugs, but I'd recommend waiting a few weeks, as these are the first builds being released. So, you won't see the Theme engine yet, for example. But every other feature is working very well. But cm13 is way more stable and close to perfection, so wait using the 13 version and keep checking out the cm14 changelog to see what has changed.

Most stable ROM

Hello guys.
Could you please suggest me the most stable ROM (your opinion) for my GALAXY NEXUS i9250 ?
I am not interesting in latest Android features I am interesting in stability.
Thanks !
Unlegacy Aosp KitKat 4.4.4 with kernel 1gb is speed and estable.
I've tried android 6 and 7, and for me android 5.1 (CM12.1) is the best blend of stability and newness. Things multitask well, and I don't get video crashes. Unfortunately it's not being updated anymore, and I don't know if or when the newer releases will be as stable. But for now, it's new enough, because the last build I've found is not even a year old yet!
i think the slimrom 6 is my choice because it's stable but when install too many app it will lag again.

Hello, sorry to bother you. Does anyone have a download link please? In the CM thread the links are dead unfortunately. Thanks.
same here.. any working links for the latest CM 5.1 ?
LOS 14.1 works stable for me. You just need to turn off the system animations.
