[Q] Will Asian N7105 LTE work in the USA?

Each day more and more threads and comments appear regarding the Samsung Note 2, specifically the N7105 LTE version. However, I have yet to stumble across a strong enough thread discussing the cross-carrier compatibility of the N7105 version of the Note 2.
I own the SHV-E250L Korean Model of the N7105/LTE and it works wonderfully - a truly beautiful pho- well, phablet. However, I am concerned now that it might not work in the US when I return home in 8 months. Can anyone FOR SURE confirm or deny this? I know the US has LTE/4G capability across multiple carriers...and isn't the N7105 quadband? Meaning it can support 4 different band frequencies? Are any of these compatible with US 4g/LTE bands?
If I'm going to be limited to 3g in the US with this phone then I will return it and buy either the International or US version or get an altogether different phone that will work both here in Korea and back in the States.
Any one have good information (preferably with sources) that they can offer?
Also, regardless of whether I have to return it or not, I would like to be able to root and un-root the phone to use its full capacity. Well, I have already rooted it using Odin and CWM but now I need the Stock ROM for the N7105 so I can un-root it if I need to return it or use the Warranty. Anyone know where I can find this or can tell me how to un-root/reset the counter?
Thanks all!
Find its specs and match your network bands
Not convenient to do this for u right now

Thanks for the advice. I found these specs for the N7105:
------------
Cellular Phone
Cellular Networks: GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS850 (B5), UMTS900 (B8), UMTS1900 (B2), UMTS2100 (B1)
Cellular Data Links: GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA+
Secondary Cellular Phone
Dual Cellular Network Operation: Parallel operation
Secondary Cellular Networks: LTE2600 (B7), LTE800 (B20)
Secondary Cellular Data Links: LTE
-------------
So according to this and the information about US Networks I found and cross-referenced with, it looks like this phone WILL work both on 3G and 4G/LTE. Yay!
Anyone see a flaw in my conclusion? Also, anyone know if this version, N7105, comes factory unlocked?
Hi,
I was thinking about getting the N7105 Galaxy Note II but also wanted to make sure that it would work on the 4G networks available in the US. Can I ask where you found the specs for the N7105? I can't seem to find anything absolutely reliable (for example, GSM Arena claims that the N7100 has 4G LTE which I don't think is correct). Wikipedia lists the following bands for AT&T and T-Mobile's 4G networks in the US:
AT&T: 4G LTE @ 700 MHz and 1700/2100 MHz (AWS)
T-Mobile: 4G LTE @ 1700/2100 MHz (AWS)
There are other bands listed for T-Mobile's HSPA+ 3G/4G (1700/1900/2100 MHz), but from what I've heard, this isn't quite as fast as 4G LTE. So I'm not sure how the specs you've listed for the N7105 match up to these purported carrier network specs.
I found somewhere else saying that the AT&T's American SGN2 would be pretty much be identical to the International N7105 except for the addition of a radio for AT&T's special 700 MHz brand of 4G LTE.

No LTE Settings

Am having F240K Korean set
Under Mobile Network/Set Network, I can only see the following options:
Automatic (this is Selected)
WCDMA Only
GPRS/GSM Only
There is no setting for LTE/GSM...
Am using the latest fw 10o and have tried factory reset but still the same
Any help?
I could be wrong, but the F240 does not have AT&T's LTE bands on it, here is a breakdown I found.

Yes, it's well known that U+ smartphones don't support EDGE, all of them. You were better bought F240S if you need EDGE support

Check the variety of topics on the F400S/K/L and you will see the bands are posted so you can determine if it will work for you or not rather than starting a new thread.

Edit:
Here is some more info from the same topic about UK carriers with Korean phones:
"Anybody happen to know which of these would work best on the UK 3 Network. I'm guessing it shouldn't be a problem due to 3 being UMTS2100, LTE1800 and but i heard something about an addition of LTE800 later this year. Anyone care to confirm/deny?
I don't think any of them support LTE800, its normally LTE850."
"I think the Lor K is your best best. There seem to be more bands supported than LG and the info lets on. I thought I was going to have an issue because I was sent a F400L and not the F400K I asked for. But in the end it was fine and I could get LTE 1800."

(Q) US Cellular or T-Mobile?

I can probably get the US Cellular much cheaper than a T-Mobile probably around $200 cheaper that is, not saying I would get one now but later around September when the G4 should be unlocked by then, For the T-Mobile network.
I notice the GSM Bands are pretty much the same and it also has the Band 12 for T-Mobile as well, I know that the US Cellular is Sim Unlocked right now and it gets LTE Data as well but not GSM calling because it goes through CDMA but when phone becomes unlocked I am sure we will be able to get the GSM calling working correctly.
US991 US Cellular
GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900
CDMA800 (BC0), CDMA1900 (BC14)
UMTS850 (B5), UMTS1700/2100 (B4), UMTS1900 (B2), UMTS2100 (B1)
LTE850 (B5), LTE1700/2100 (B4), LTE1900 (B2), LTE1900 (B25), LTE700 (B12), LTE800 (B26)
Only band missing from US Cellular that T-Mobile has is LTE2600 (B7) but US Cellular has a few more bands T-Mobile doesn't have obviously, so is LTE2600 (B7) really needed?
H811 T-Mobile USA
GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900,
UMTS850 (B5)UMTS1700/2100 (B4), UMTS1900 (B2), UMTS2100 (B1)
LTE850 (B5), LTE1700/2100 (B4), LTE2600 (B7), LTE1900 (B2), LTE700 (B12)
So what do you think? Would it be a better option at a lower price or should I just stick with an actual T-Mobile phone for the T-Mobile network?
For that matter the Sprint phone is also same bands as US Cellular too, but getting a Sprint Phone sim unlocked and bootloader unlocked would probably be hard to accomplish.

I am actually a prepaid customer, so this has nothing to do with me and really it doesn't make any since for what I am asking. JUMP is a basic trade in offer if you buy into a 2 year contract, I don't see the relevance here, I am asking if what I am saying which would be a better deal US Cellular or just a T-Mobile phone, but us cellular you can get at a much cheaper price.

Actually their new program is 0 money down, pay monthly.... There are no contracts in T-Mobile anymore, so you may want to explore that as an option. Walk out of a T-Mobile store with a phone for $15. Plus they have unlimited data, not sure what US Celluar offers but heard really good things despite them being a regional carrier.

Bands aren't really the issue (IMHO). What would be the defining issue for me is actual cell and data COVERAGE where I live and work. If you're in a good T-Mobile zone, go for it.
Unfortunately, we are not and my wife will be moving her service from T-Mobile to either US Cellular or Verizon shortly.
Is the G4 from US Cellular sim unlocked or not?
Can anyone confirm it?
Just putting my 2 cents here. The t-mobile g4 is Bootloader unlocked so you can put twrp and custom roms on it now. The us cellular 1 in bootloader locked.
