You did NONE of the steps. The Official xPosed doesn't work on Samsung Touchwiz, it's clearly spelled out in the Read-Only thread that xPosed will bootloop your brand of phone (and could hardbrick you). You need a special fork of xPosed. There are two forks that maybe are for you: Arter's is for Lollipop (5.0.x) and Wanam for Lollipop/Marshmallow (5.1.x and 6.0.x). Search XDA's "xPosed General" board for them; they are easily found, so I'll not be linking to them - searching in itself will give you much of the knowledge you seek, without you ever having to type a single post.
You need to read FULLY the proper threads and (this time for real) both follow and understand all of the steps. You have a phone brand that can and will brick and void warranty if you mess modifications up.
Second, this thread is specifically for a brand and phone that does not equal yours. In the future it's much better social etiquette to either start your own thread or post in the thread for the (correct) xPosed you choose (Wanam/Arter)

Great this work thank

Well i tried damn hard here in those links you gave. But the device's bootloader is locked!!! I even compiled CWM for it, for failed to flash since signature check failed.... so sad.... I need to wait until someone unlocks bootloader of FE170CG... For the records please note that the following is available: Boot.img, Recovery.img, kernel, ramdisk, inits and fstabs..... I wish some dev shows up soon! Feeling so lonely here
Tried this on the FE171CG (K01N) and it worked perfectly. Thanks
Is anyone aware of any ROM development going on for this tablet? I'd love to get a stock ROM on there to get rid of what ASUS have done - just rooted for now so I could remove 45 system apps that were doing my head in.

you try and report back to me. If it does, viola and if it doesnot, we might need to get back to drawing board!
it doesn't work for me (lollipop version)
Just to let you know the oem tricks that is used in the rootkits do not work with the new fastboot in lollipop. I rooted fe170cg on lollipop by flashing supersu.zip using tethered cwm. However, as I said before the oem tricks do not work with the new fastboot so you'll have to flash fastboot.img from the kitkat rom available from asus website.
just type the following without quotes in a search engine:
"ROOTING ASUS FONEPAD 7 FE170CG ON LOLLIPOP"
follow the video tutorial by Lam Nguyen
does not work. 8-(
ASUS Fonepad 7 (FE170CG) Firmware: V12.8.1.38 (for WW SKU version only)
Noob question here
I can read forum after forum and book after book about all of this rooting and app creating and code... And never learn a thing. I gotta be hands on so would someone be so kind as to point me in a good direction of where to start? Would it be worth it to get out my old cells that don't have service anymore and tinker around with them? What phone, if any, would be a good place to start for a complete noob? Thanks in advance for any help.
Something went wrong
Hi, im new here, and i had a problem with this method. When i tried using the tools given, and i used both, my device was pluged in with all the things needed, but at a certain point both the tool and the tablet just stood there saying "waiting for device", in the case of the tool, and "waiting for download" in the case of the table, also i have a screenshot but i dont know how to put it in here :silly:. Im trying to root my device and, eventually, install twrp, what i did before in other device that, fortunely for me, didnt came with the bootloader locked, but this asus fonepad is giving me a headacke, i tried a lot fo things and it didnt work, so if someone could help me i would be appreciated. I dont know if my device is the fonepad 7, but its codename is asus fonepad ME371MG. Also, im portuguese, so sorry if my english isnt the best.
I am using Asus FonePad ME371 model k004 and interested to root this tablet.
Downloaded both asusintelrootkit 1 and 2 in my tablet.
Extracted all the files in my tablet.
Will both these root apps work for my Asus FonePad ME371 model k004?
How to root my tablet using these root apps?
Since this is the first time I am rooting I have no experience.
Waiting for reply

unable to boot

unable to boot my canvas 4.i installed Galaxy Evolution Note 5.it stuck on bootlogo.i am unable to bring back my phone.sptool does not recognize phone.i am using windows 10.i installed cynus t1 driver.what i do now.plz help me
Hi Ankit,
Sorry for not looking into the QA forum.
You need to use sptools or the wiko rom installer from the general forum to flash stock again.
Galaxy rom does cut the recovery menu away for some reason, and theres no straight fix in the other forums too, as far i have searched.
Need more advise from the Gurus in this regard.
Really Sorry for the inconvenience caused by this, i went through this and we discussed many ways to overcome this but no avail.
Please try the two methods and report in the rom thread, please.
In case, you want to try other roms, Mystik rom has TouchWiz theme, PussyFap will be released soon with none of these problems.
GamerBoy will be releasing his update for Lollifox rom.
Surprise, Real Lollipop may land anytime to cheer you up.
Regards

Xposed suport for sm-n9005 running on dark wolf rom (6.0.1)

This post aims to get direct xposed support for the eternal Samsung Galaxy Note 3 running on Dark Wolf ROM under Android 6.0.1. If it's okay, Xposed DEVS are requested to post here the updates and news about the necessary support to avoid boot loop and adverse issues brought about by Xposed version mismatch. Feel free to post! :victory:
Same thing .... searching for the xposed for darkwolf 6.0.1 and i tried the xposed version ended with a bootloop.
any news about it?
Yes i'm running Dark Wolf rom Android 6.0.1 for my Samsung Note 3 SM-N9005, i try to install the updated exposed installed already, after flash the xposed-v86-sdk23-arm.zip. file, my phone just stuck boot, can't running , any solution to fix it ? After uninstall then come back to normal....
For those reporting bootloops. Samsung phone with touchwiz ROM will bootloop with the official xPosed. Please fully read the original post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811&page=1
If darkwolf is indeed touchwiz you need to use the unofficial wanam build
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960/page1
There are major differences between Samsung's implementation of ART java machine and the AOSP implementation
I have a Huawei Ascend Y330 U11. I have rooted my phone using Kingroot app. My device works on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. And it has Emotion UI 2.0 . I actually rooted it on the pretext of flashing a custom ROM. Then after rooting I found out that there was no Custom ROM for this model and I couldn't even find a custom recovery (CWM/TWRP) for this device.
Then I heard of Xposed Framework and decided to try it out. But after installing the installer, when u try to install, it tells me that it can't copy app_process to system/bin as it already exists. And yes, I saw that it already exists in the folder. And since I don't have a custom recovery, I can't even try flashing it on recovery. And I badly want to use Xposed. Please help.
Thanks in advance.
Finally got it,all well done, follow this web highonandroid.com/xposed-for-marshmallow-android-6-06-0-1

This page provides less information than the XDA threads, is not directly connected to the developers of xPosed, and likely are distributing without rovo/wanam/arter permission. They selfhost the files which, to me, reeks of selfishness, at best, or malicious practices, at worst.
Exactly what knowledge did you gain from it that wasn't provided here at the official source?

[HELP] Looking for Xposed framework for Desire 820N Marshmallow

Hey guys,
I was browsing and searching for a solution for my question, but 2 hours and my browser filled with 25 tabs later, I thought this might be a faster way.
I am actually looking for the Xposed framework that *works* on my Desire 820n, single sim running on Marshmallow 6.0.1.
I know there is always a risk for a boot loop etc. But I'm familiar with this, so don't worry about this. I have a recent TWRP backup on my external SD and computer, and all stuff to recover a soft brick
So I'm prepared.
Hopefully, someone could help me out and can give a link for the right Xposed framework for my device.
Some more technical details:
Qualcomm Snapdragon 615
ARMv8
MSM8939
Cheers, and I really appreciate it if you can help me!
There are currently two kinds of xposed out there, normal or system-less. The systemless one allow you to use android pay as it wont modify /system. Just install Material Xposed installer and then choose the appropriate zip ( arm64 varients ) from the list of versions to install.
Thank you very much. This put me in the right direction, and now I have it finally perfectly running.
Cheers mate

No, this is a special version. Xposed 22 dont work on STOCK ( Android 4.4.2 , it works in ported roms but not on 4.4.2
I've been using xposed sdk19 for my 4.4.2 for almost two years now until I switched to 5.1.1 motion rom. Now I'm using xposed Sdk22
Thank you so much
