I Upgrade LG G3 to Marshmallow with KDZ file and now cannot downgrade to LP or KK with KDZ and TOT file. and Downgrade proccess will be failed.

I think... You haven't 8974 file dll ....
Down load it here
And then extract it and copy folder 8974 into C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, if not redirect me please. I'm rocking a LG G4 h815 V20c-SEA-XX on Android M. LG's dev tool won't support unlocking my bootloader right now. Is there a work around or something else I can do to unlock the bootloader and install a custom recovery? If so can you please guide me through it or shoot me a video. Thanks in advanced!

How do you flash a pre-rooted image file onto a non-rooted LG G4 H815? Greatly appreciate any help here.
Hi trying to help a friend out im looking for a root method for a lg g3 D852 on marshmallow 6.0 from fido canada. the phone is stock un touch and i cant seem to find a way to root this device if some one could point me to the thread im looking for i would be ever so thankful.

Download a stock lollipop kdz from the links provided in the OP of this xda thread:

Look into the folder "Canada D852". Those roms that have "20F" in their name are lollipop.
LGUP should have no problem flashing the above kdz, thus returning you to lollipop. From there, you then root then upgrade to MM.

Thanks. I have the kdz but LGUP detects the phone as model unknown and I haven't been able to correct that.

Hi,
I'm trying to figure out all of this. I have D852 with Fido (pretty sure I'll need the Rogers' files) on MM Stock and I want to get back to Lollipop to root and install CM12.1 ou CM13. When I go to le links provided I can't find a Lollipop file for Rogers. The ones listed are v10 so I assume those files are the Kit Kat ones. What should I do to go to Lollipop? Can I use the Telus one that is listed as it is a V20 so Lollipop?

I was able to grab the kdz from the repository on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089 (they have one for Rogers/Fido which appears to be older but I suspect you could use it and upgrade once rooted).
Flashed it with http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G3/LGUP_8974_DLL_Ver_0_5_CODEFIRE.MSI (as provided by gwizerd in this thread).
From there, I installed TWRP, rooted and upgraded to stock MM following Toronto Henry's instructions (http://www.torontohenry.com/2016/03/lg-g3-d852-teluskoodo-version.html) although these are more for the Koodo crowd.

Thx a ton ill try it out this weekend and see how it goes if not ill be downgrading rooting and re upgrading wich is alot of work

If you just got stock G3, do other mods (band mod, etc) first before flashing ROM. I waste a lot of time having to revert back to factory state as I couldn't get into diag mode.

To download to lollipop I flashed a kdz from the OP's link (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089). Under step 1, look for the storagecow link. As Ahoroba mentioned, look in the Canada D852 folder and 20F in the name indicates lollipop.
To flash it, I needed the LGUP linked by gwizerd: http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G3/LGUP_8974_DLL_Ver_0_5_CODEFIRE.MSI
If you are doing this to get root and then upgrade again to MM, once on lollipop follow the instructions on http://www.torontohenry.com/2016/03/lg-g3-d852-teluskoodo-version-rooting.html

Anyone got a link to the .tot and .dll file to download. My G4 is bricked and none of the LGUP nor Flash Tool 2014 work. FT 1.8 needs the .dll and i don't have the means to extract it from the KDZ file. TIA.
As the title says, has anyone tried out and how is it working? Found this thread on Reddit where one guy has edited the F500K 7.0 version to work with the standard H815 version..... Says the only thing not working is the GSM maybe someone has the solution to that?......
Anyways, just curious if someone had tried it out

Yep, works great and smooth. Also battery life was nice. Just too bad the modem and fastboot/recovery were gone. Also getting back to normal marshmallow is a pain. But nougat is worth the wait!!

And how did you managed to get back to 6.0? I am stuck at 7 and cannot go back. (I tried LGUP and Sendcommand which both failed.)

What I did:
Download H81520o_00_0310.kdz, open it with WinHEX, change the first instance of of H815 to H816, then change the second instance of H815 to F500K, then change H816 BACK to H815. Save it, and use refurbish with LGUP
EDIT:
I can upload the modded KDZ tonight if you want to

I just remembered I changed the LGUP dll, so I'll upload that too.

I tried it, but at 25% LGUP gave me error 0x2000 (Invalid command response). Just to be clear I have the h818p model so I used v20d kdz version for 818 and LGUP says dll version is 0.0.3.21 . Do you know whats causing the problem?

EDIT: I had to temporary disable my antivirus to get it to start. The program itself starts LGUP, so make sure that you closed all LGUP instances.

Tried, but with no success. The dll version changed to 0.0.4.0 . I will try tomorrow to search for the latest kdz. For now thanks for your advices.
I found rhe most recent kdz (v20g) but it gave me also the same error with both versions of LGUP dlls. I am pretty much out of ideas

You can try to use the v20o kdz to convert your device to an H815. And if that succeeds convert it back to an H818

I finally forced it to be 818p again . Made it by first converting it to h815 and then for about 10th try it flashed the 818p kdz.
