[Q] Firmware version

Can someone please post the firmware version this phone ships with?
Posting the full image would be even better.
Edit: According to the Samsung open source page, it's N910AUCU1ANIE. Please confirm.

Yes, that's the ATT version. Currently we don't have a way to extract full image from the phone and one hasn't been released to my knowledge.

As far as getting the image: Verizon has a phone "repair" tool which downloads the factory image and flashes it to your phone. Is there anything similar for AT&T?

If there is one, no one has yet come forward with it. We need someone from the "inside" to help us LOL. Does anyone work at an AT&T Repair Center?

supposedly you can extract it but I'm not having any luck. The windows way didn't work at all but I'm working on it via linux. Hope we at least get root before Lollipop comes out.
If we get root but no custom recovery I'd still be content

im running the international s6 edge rom on my tmobile s6 edge running fine with some problem like
wifi only static and 2 fc but nothing major and will be fixed any one willing to test please email me and i will send you the link by tonight

Can you or someone that's willing to test this try the unlock codes see if it works

I loaded the rom and as soon as I put my at&t aim in my tmobile edge, it immediately asked me for the unlock pin... looks promising to unlock this way

I have unlock code and can test, send me pm!

How have you done the installation of this rom I have the zip file it install but stuck on Samsung boot screen

Yes the phone was rooted. That's the only was to install twrp. And yes I did use cf auto root.

Thanks a lot yes i got it in but does not ask for unlock code and even trying to invoke on dial it won't come up and phone call mute in and out but all looks good and yes wifi just on static ip

For sure!
Interesting part is that code works with the original firmware and original card when I type in dialer #7465625*628*# and enter code.
But when I change to non accepted SIM, it's locked again and don't accept code with the same method!?
Same thing is with this software the difference is that it asks itself for code when you enter non accepted SIM, and another difference is that #7465625*628*#, *#06#, *#0*# doesn't do anything now...
Maybe we also have to flash a different modem firmware?
I tried to flash G925F modem with ODIN, but it fails. Maybe someone can make zip to be flashed with recovery...

I also have an unlock code, and the tmobile galaxy s6 edge, but according to you guys that tested it out, it doesnt work properly???

Currently the new update 'AOE2' is "in Queue" status at the bottom of the supported device list in the first post.

Yes I already told them about our new update and he said that they will work on it to support it so just be patient!

AFAIK, the only way to get OTA updates again is to flash a stock rom... Which I guess doesn't trip knox.
You'll have to root again of course after that if you want it.

OE2 is now in the PingPong Root list of supported devices! I just successfully rooted my SM-G920P OE2. How can you tell if Knox has not been tripped?

the MM beta is N920AUCU2BPB2, this is N920AUCU2APB2. coincidentally, N920AUCU2APB2 is the version all these various root methods are based on.
so, is this maybe an unreleased update from ATT? I can't really see any differences, and the phone works fine. I'm almost tempted to try one of those root files, but frankly I'm a little tired of wiping my phone when it gets buggy like chimera did to it.

I've tested those root files posted here in 5.1.1. None of them work. I flashed back the stock boot image and my N920A is still working fine. But I don't want to flash this MM Odin files because I don't want to loose everything that I have downladed. I know I can backup first, and I already did, but I prefer to wait for the official MM upgrade from AT&T.

I got a two week premium account, it just isn't working must be something wrong on my end.

I'm already downloading it. I'll upload it to MEGA or Android File Host if I can.

found the root thread for PE3. so how do we get it and do we also need the BL and Modem files? also can we go back to 5.1.1 by Odining OK2 files?
I had a G900A for 2 years and know all about it, what little there is to know with that locked piece of ----. bought a used N910T. coming wed.

Yep! In odin you flash it under AP. Then you flash TWRP in AP too. :good:
