CM13 Snap Camera - T-Mobile LG G3

I used a version of CM12 Snap Camera which essentially looks like stock Google camera but with quite a bit more features like storage location, OIS etc. Does anyone know of a location to download a version for CM13 because I can't seem to find it. I have tried installing the CM12 compatible version as a system app, and installing Cyanogen Camera app but both force close immediately. Just want a camera with a bit more options.

Found it and posted in Themes & Apps

[Q] Camera apps that support hardware HDR?

Other than the stock camera, and Google Camera, I've yet to find a single camera application that actually supports the Z1C's HDR camera mode, all applications will take multiple shots and then do software HDR, whereas the camera is capable of doing HDR on its own (or so it seems when I use the first two applications).
Is there a reason why applications that use Software HDR can't just use the hardware version when installed in a device that supports it? Why I can't find other apps that use it?
I am not satisfied with the stock or Google camera, yet I don't want to give up HDR support to switch to something else :/
HDR is not a Hardware feature, in all cameras or Smartphones is a software picture treatment..

I think he means that we have a HDR capable sensor..
Try Camera FV5 .. Someone told me that camera 360 app takes good pics in sony.. try that also..
Is there any reason that the sony cybershot camera apps package included in Sony STOCK ROM 5.0.2 can't be installed with any lollipop ROM....?
I have CM12.... and once MultiROM is available for the Z1c I'll be installing lots of ROMS to try them out but would be good to have Sony's Camera, and Walkman that work across all of them.
Can the Sony camera apps package be extracted from the system SIN file within a SONY STOCK lollipop zip and installed into any ROM...?
The Walkman app works.... I already have it.... just can't seem to find the camera apps anywhere

Stock camera being Sony....? So are you on Stock ROM or have you found somewhere to download the original Sony camera apps package and installed them....? I'm looking everywhere trying to find the apps package with no luck so if you can help that would be awesome,
EDIT:.... I now have Snap... very nice HDR capability but have no idea if it's using the Hardware of the cybershot...?

[Q] Front facing camera stretched

I know there are several threads about this already, but I could not find any solution in them. Here's what I've done, or at least as much as I can remember right now. All of these tests were done after wiping data/system/cache/dalvik/nose/cat/etc
Started off with LiquidSmooth LS-KK-v3.2-2014-10-27-d2lte. Just selecting the front camera would crash the phone and reboot.
Flashed different kernels. Ones I can remember are BMS_34_d2_20150203 (tried some older versions too) and lk_s3aosp_kitkat-v9.19, though I know I tried a couple others. I think BMS was the best one for it, I could select the front camera without a crash, but it would still crash if I tried to actually take a picture. However, this combo worked fine in 3rd party apps like Snapchat, front camera was usable and undistorted.
Then I tried different roms, such as:
Cyanogenmod, (maybe still latest, don't remember version)
Quantum 5.2
CARBON-KK-UNOFFICIAL-20141001-1825-d2lte
Slim-d2lte-4.4.4.build.9.0-OFFICIAL-8262
Slim-d2lte-4.4.4.build.7.0-OFFICIAL-5979
I tried stock, Lean and BMS kernel on most of those roms as well, with varying degrees or results. Pretty much all of those work fine for the front camera in the regular camera app, though with some issues. Right now I've got Slim build 9 and LeanKernel 9.19, which works for both cameras, but if I use the front camera and then switch to the back camera it will lock up. However, none of these work with 3rd party apps like Snapchat, the front camera is stretched.
So basically there was LiquidSmooth, which worked great overall and was just fine in 3rd party apps, but couldn't use the front camera in the regular camera app, or other roms that fix the regular camera app and break 3rd party ones. I prefer LiquidSmooth and would love to just have the regular camera app working properly there, but I'll take whatever gives me a functional phone with both cameras working in all apps. I've seen various "fixes", such as renaming the vendor camera .so file in /system/hw/ (not actual location, but I forgot and it was something like that), or flashing the google_camera_compatibility fix, or various "fixed" camera or gallery apks. I've been using CWM v6.0.4.5 on all of this, though I've heard mention of Philz recovery and wonder if that would make any difference.
Is there an actual fix for this? I've seen people say it works for them, seen people say they've fixed it and seen people say there is no fix yet.

Google camera.....

Has anyone try the google camera app on the zenfone 2 ? I've heard pictures might be better
It depends. If you're on CM13, it's better because the Marshmallow version of Google Camera's pretty good, but on the other hand the Marshmallow version of Google Camera is broken with video so it kind of varies. If you're still on stock ROM, then I would recommend Camera FV-5. It's a pretty nice camera.
It depends really. You see the Google Camera that you can download from the PlayStore installs a different version of the app for every version of android that you're running, it also gives certain features that only Nexus phones can utilize. So if you're running stock ZenUI running Lollipop, then i can't say for sure of the quality improves a lot, but if you're running on a custom ROM, then i think it does have a difference. Personally, i'm running ReusrrectionRemix and the image quality is just great.

Porting MIUI stock camera for use in LineageOS 14.1

Hi.
I'm currently using the EU weekly ROM 7.3.30 on my mi5s 3/64 .
All in all, I got it all tweaked up and it works fine, but having tried both lineageOS 14.1 and resurrection remix (both unofficial builds for the mi5s) I feel they run snappier, as I would expect from such hardware. Only problem , no 3rd party camera apps I've tried (open camera, manual camera, the stock cameras on lineageOS and resurrection remix, google camera, a better camera, PixiMod) have been able to focus quickly and accurately, giving consistently good and sharp images as the stock camera app does. Also, most other camera apps are buggy in 4K video (and can't really use any form of digital stabilization).
Is there any way I can transfer the stock MIUI 8.3 camera app to use on lineageOS or resurrection remix.
My phone is rooted, I have titanium backup pro and root browser installed.
Thanks for your advise guys!

I tried backing up the stock camera app in titanium backup and restoring it later from lineageOS but it seemed to be stuck in a loop in 'restoring' such that I had to kill the titanium backup process...
It will be very hard, the app must be using many parts of MIUI calls / code which doesn't exist in other rom.
I think the MIUI camera APK relies on the MIUI system framework, so the camera is just a GUI for the interface which is actually located in the framework. Just from what I've seen though. I could be wrong
That's too bad... I might be lucky, but for me the stock camera app is actually very good (apart from the annoying bug in which the app never remembers the video resolution and it keeps reverting to fullHD instead of 4k). And I'm very picky on photography in general... Seems that for now I'm married to the miui ROMs.

[Q] Can i use oppo camera in nougat 7.1.2

Can i use oppo camera+beautify plugin in nougat 7.1.2 (omni)
if can't. what camera app i should replace.
I would also like to know if this is possible
I just use snap camera, it's very customiseable, can be complicated like a DSLR or just really simple like a P&S and it works well. So many settings to really make it suit you. I like that it has an on screen virtual mode dial and you can customise the settings for each mode. There's nothing else like it. Also has a gallery app. That's handy if you have a phone not rooted and has Google Camera.... Like my work phone. Nexus 5X.
I found Snap camera because the camera in Omni 6 was extremely unreliable. Snap always worked. I also use it on my Mate 7. It has a good camera app stock but I have that set for a specific purpose. Snap is great for everything else.
extremely unreliable???
Men just install Camera 2.67. Its Colour quality...can`t be wrong...
About Nougat the only reason i dont use it is the lack of a proper port camera.....
I use the ported Oppo camera app when doing quick snaps (forgot where I got it from lol), and I use the Bacon Camera app for stuff like RAW and manual. It's slightly buggy, but it's really great.
try this works on Crdroid 8.1 https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/themes-apps/port-coloros-camera-cm11s-t3030369
