How to block incoming call notifications and calendar reminders? - Huawei Watch

I've blocked the phone and the calendar apps but I still get notifications about calls (accept/reject) and calendar reminders. How do I completely block these apps on my watch?

I would like to block the alarm too. I added the clock to blocked apps and Sucker still buzz the crap out of the watch. Want it to stop and don't see a way to do that.

Anyone can help here? I freaking hate my phone alarm buzzing the crap out of my watch. There is NO need for my watch to buzz when my phone alarm goes off. I've put the clock under blocked apps and still it buzzes.

You can go into the Wear app and disable notifications from specific apps. Maybe that will help.
I just hate the constant Google notifications every 5 minutes that has the weather and stocks and whatever else it includes. Somewhere should be a setting to do it once per day or like every 6 hours or something. I swear I dismiss it constantly. With the disconnect issue threads, I am hoping it isn't a standard reconnect procedure to throw up the notification every time.
Also the incoming call will be good once the speaker is activated in the next update

I already have it blocked if that's what you mean. Doesn't work. Already mentioned that in my previous comment.

[Q] Alarms, Notifications and missed calls/sms/e-mail

Hi,
Being a recent convert from Windows Mobile, I'm noticing how the alarms and notifications of applications seems separate from each other rather than integrated. Has anybody else noticed this, or is it just me? Also, what is the technical difference between an alarm and a notification? Everything seems to be a notification rather than an alarm.
Is there any suggested techniques/configuration to ensure all of my apps use the same notifications/volumes etc without me having to go to every single app and configure it? Also is there a way to configure how the vibration works system-wide? Every single app seems to have their own settings and its a bit of a pain. I also prefer a "longer" vibration in case I miss something (the phone is usually in my pocket).
Also does anybody have recommendations regarding applications which can repeat or remind me for missed events? I want a repeat reminder that I have an appointment coming up, or have missed an SMS or a call (but haven't noticed it) or have received an e-mail? I just want something like to remind me every 5 minutes by playing the sound and/or vibrating, for about an hour - mainly just in case I haven't noticed it - but I don't want it going on forever in case I don't have the phone with me and it annoys others!
Thanks,
Ian
I've just downloaded Missed Reminder which does all that I think. Although it's not for calendar reminders, which is annoying.
Hopefully that will change in the future since I can't find anything else that does the same job for calendar reminders - or Google will sort it out and add repeaters.

Notification tone driving me crazy

I just moved to my S3 from my E4GT. I loaded all my programs and now I get this random notification tone every so often. It could happen at different times, 15 minutes, 1 minute, 18 minutes between each tone. The thing that is driving me crazy is it doesn't have any icon in the task bar letting me know what program is doing this. I have checked through every program that I can think of and none of them has this particular tone and I know they all have a task bar icon. The newest app I installed around this time was Falcon For Twitter, but I have put it silent notifications and also changed the tone and it appears it is not from this app.
Ugh, I don't want to uninstall one app at a time, but it might come to that.
what does the tone sound like?
Turn off Auto-Sync for a while and see if that stops it. It seems like I heard a similar sound when I first installed this ROM, but I always turn auto sync off to save battery and I haven't heard it since.
Did you check the email app?
Of it only happens on WiFi check to see if you have the box labeled check for internet connection under advanced in wifi, if your internet drops I.e. still connected but it doesn't have and download it will alert you

I finally found it. When Yahoo mail updated it turned on notifications. I thought I shut it off but it only turned off the visual notification not the audio.

No Reminder notifications on the Watch?

Hi there,
got my Watch yesterday and one of the main things i wanted to do with it, was to dictate reminders by voice and then get reminded, obviously.
well, dicating the reminder and saving it works just fine.
the problematic part is getting the reminder. if i tell my watch to set a reminder to do something in 10 minutes, it saves the reminder, and that is the last thing i see of it.
the time passes, no notification about the reminder.
if i go into the reminder app on the watch, the reminder is still there under current reminders, but thats quite useless as i have to go into the app to see my reminder.
is there any way to notify me on a reminder?
OK, i found out that i forbade Google Now to send me notifications, that was it.
But now i have another Problem.
If i set a reminder for something half an hour from now, it notifies me on it immediately and not when it is supposed to notify my. Is there some setting to rectify this? as i cant seem to find anything, sadly.
I too noticed this issue and I am surprised no one is responding. If I set a reminder on the watch, the watch or the phone should make some kind of noise but it do not.

How to unblock a contract from messaging notification

I was clearing some of the notifications on my Galaxy Watch. One was a text message notification and instead of clearing it I accidentally tapped the little icon that blocks message notifications from that person instead. I can't find on any setting how to unblock it so my watch will get notifications when I get texts from this person.
I just played around with this. I blocked myself and the only way I found to Un-Block my number was to:
1) go into the Wear (Galaxy Wearable) app,
2) go into the Notifications section and **turn off** Messages Notifications.
3) Then I actually turned off Bluetooth to disconnect my Note 9 from my Galaxy Watch.
4) Went back into the Wear app & the Notifications section and RE-Enabled notifications for Messages
5) Turned Bluetooth back on and made sure that I was reconnected to my watch by looking in the Wear app
6) Sent myself a text--> Notification appeared on my phone and Once Again on my Galaxy Watch!
Very weird that there's not an easier way and if there is, I haven't found it. Also strange that this process clears the blocked number but I guess because I turned off Messages notifications made it kind of do a reset for this particular text app.

Outlook notifications

Does anyone use Outlook? I have two irritating problems with it.
- Appointment notifications get pushed every minute for 15 minutes before the appointment
- Messages don't show up on the watch. I use Feel the Wear, and it sounds, but the message doesn't preview on the watch like all other messaging apps do.
Anyone know a solution to either of these issues?
Notifications are all enabled, not blocked. I've tried the Outlook Wear app, but it makes no difference.

I've had sort of the same issue without a solution. Sometimes I do get the notifications, sometimes I don't. Sometimes it comes before the phone notification, sometimes it takes ~10 seconds. This watch is insane, it used to work fine. My assumption is it's caused by the system updates in the past year.
