It does build the recovery.img but doesnt boot after flashing it

Not sure how I can help without the device. I also don't build in the CM tree, so I can't help you there either. What I can do is try to create a device tree to build with the Omni files, if you have a stock recovery somewhere, and I can build with that and you can see if it at least boots. If it does, you can compare my tree to yours and make whatever updates are necessary. If you could link to the specs of the device (like on GSMArena), that would also be helpful.
EDIT: I just saw this is a MediaTek device, so I might not be able to do much. I usually only deal with Qualcomm devices. I have no experience with MediaTek SoCs.

Yeah, I looked at this, and I have no idea what I'm looking at. Sorry - you'll need someone with some MediaTek knowledge to help you with this.

Not sure what you mean - building from source is the same. I just use the Omni tree, not CM.

[Q] Does anyone knows if that backdoor exists for the Cappy?

I struggled over this here:
http://www.fsf.org/blogs/community/replicant-developers-find-and-close-samsung-galaxy-backdoor
and some more details in their wiki:
http://redmine.replicant.us/projects/replicant/wiki/SamsungGalaxyBackdoor
And as far as I understood that could also affect other devices from Samsung or am I wrong? Is the i927 as a variant of those mentioned devices maybe affected by that too?

how? what do I would need to do that: "using opensource ril". Is it "just" the fact that you compile everything from source including the ril?
Do you think that this could be done for ICS/sediROM , too? :fingers-crossed:
If so: It would be great if you can send me a PM on how to doing that for sediROM... :fingers-crossed:

@BlueFlame4 is the owner of visionary i beleive. he's trying to do a lot for the device despite his busy schedule. i'm just happy to see more people trying to develop for the device.
also i'm glad BlueFlame4 is sharing his work. there are a few developers who aren't and i know the reason why. but this isn't the place for such things.
if you do get a TWRP running using his parts of his work i'm sure you'll give right credit. heck, i'm sure he'll appreciate the help if you can lend him a hand with CM lol.
good luck with your attempted

Yeah you have to modify the build.prop and remove the first lines. But you can save up your time, cause it's not booting after flashing.
