G Pad 10.1 LG-V700 ROOTED, but no recovery? - G Pad 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

LG G Pad 10.1
LG V700
Kernal: 3.4.0+
Build: LRX22G
Software: V70020c
Android Version: 5.0.2
I was able to run King Root and get it rooted. It was an unstable root until I installed Xposed Framework. Now ROOT seems stable, but there is no way to Flash TWRP...
I have read that we have to downgrade to Android 4.4.x in order to get TWRP (or any custom recovery) to install. Is this true? LG won't unlock bootloader? This seems like a pretty nice device, I have had Galaxy Tabs and I was thinking I like this better, except for the ROOT/Recovery situation..
Is there something I am missing? No one is really dev'ing for the V700?
Advice would be much appreciated.

To get twrp u need to be on kitkat... But its useless since there isnt any roms for it.

Upgrade v50010A to v50020b

Hope that someone can help me.
After a long struggle to get my Pad rooted, I managed that after downgrading from V50020D to V50010A.
Now it seems my battery life is very bad, so I would like to upgrade to V50020D again.
Is that possible, and what is the best way to achieve that? I want to stay rooted, and I want to stay running Android 5.0.2 Lollipop - 20150106 - LRX22G 1 2 3 
Please advice.

[Q] LG G3 Lollipop Root - Help

Hey guys at xda-developers!
So before christmas I recieved an update for my G3 to upgrade to Android L from a rooted KitKat and I want to become rooted again. So can anylne advise me on what to do.
If there is any simple rooting method for LG Android L update.
I want to keep all my data btw.
Thanks. Ask any questions
Im new to the android world and xda so i dont know too much about ANDROID but i know a good amount
Thanks!
You can't root on lollipop, no root available as of yet. If you want root you have to downgrade to kitkat with the flashtool.
Use the LG Flash Tool to downgrade to kitkat (with a 10r build). There are a plethora of guides on how to do this.
Then you root, and install a custom ROM to get back to Lollipop. Cyanogenmod 12 works amazingly well on my D851. It's smoother than the stock ROM. However, you might be able to do the CloudyG3 ROM, which is essentially just what you have now with added features. Assuming that you got the Lollipop update a little while back, your phone sounds compatible. However, if you don't use the QuickCircle Case, I would highly suggest Cyanogenmod 12. I used the case, but made that small sacrifice for this amazing ROM.
Hope I helped!

[Q] Is the AT&T Note II impossible to root?

First off here are the current details of my device:
-------------------------------------------------------------
Model Number: SAMSUNG-SM-N900A
Android Version: 5.0
Baseband Version: N900AUCUEOC1
Kernel Version: 3.4.0-4335446
Build Number: LRX21V.N900AUCUEOC1
Knox Version: 2.3-------------------------------------------------------------
(Sorry I would have posted screenshots but I don't have 10 posts yet.)
I bought the phone with KitKat 4.4.2 and Baseband Version N900AUCUCNC2
Since then it has been updated through:
KitKat 4.4.4 - Baseband: N900AUCUDNJ5
KitKat 4.4.4 - Baseband: N900AUCUDNL1
and now Lollipop 5.0 - Baseband: N900AUCUEOC1
I carelessly updated my phone via Firmware Over the Air (FOTO) not knowing at the time that it would change the process for rooting the phone later on.
I have tried many tutorials and checked various threads throughout the forum for a solution but it just seems AT&T phones are extremely hard to root nowadays.
Some of the things I have tried without success are:
TowelRoot
KingoRoot
Root De La Vega
and possibly a few various other methods.
It is also possible that I may have done one of the above methods incorrectly, although I tried to follow the instructions as carefully as I could for each tutorial.
I have heard that it is easiest to root this phone while it is at KitKat 4.4.2 and I am curious if there is a way where I could downgrade the Android version and successfully root this phone. But I have also heard that AT&T patched 4.4.2 so that it was harder to root although I am not quite sure if this matters.
If anyone has any solution to my problem I would so greatly appreciate it. I want to be able to use this phone to its full potential before I get a new one.
With the 5.0 update comes a fully locked bootloader. ..which means no kernels....ever again. .
Downgrade is not possible to an older version. ..
No bootstrap recovery exists to my knowledge. ..and leaves you with no real root options. ..
Perhaps our devs could find a method. ...but support is not looking good for this older device.
You are locked up tight. ..
Very sorry. ...g
Sounds like you have a Note 3, not the 2.
What he said. Note 2 is i317 and has no lollipops

I want to unlock, root and flash my wifes G3 Stylus

My wife bought a phone here in Mexico from TELCEL and I hate the stock ROM on it, I'm wanting something like CM or Paranoid Android etc on it.Is there a way to root a carrier locked phone from TELCEL? I can't seem to find any information as I don't know so much spanish to read tutorials about it. Even if I can't unlock it, just installing a new ROM on it would help.
Can anyone lead me in the right direction?
Phone Model: LG-D693n G3 Stylus
Provider: TELCEL
Android Version: 4.4.2
Baseband Version: MOLY.WR8.W1338.MD.WG.TC01.SP.V11.P2
Kernal Version: 3.4.67
Build Number: ALPS.KK1.AOSP.MP2.TC1SP.V1.19
Software Version: V10a_09-JAN-2015
Cheers
If you want to root the device you can follow this guide.I used PurpleDrake to root my device with firmware V10e for G3 (D855).(As long as you are still in kitkat 4.4.2 / V10a firmware you probably could use Towelroot too to root your device without using a PC).
As long as you root your device you can change the official rom with a custom one.In order to achive that you are going to need a custom recovery. You have to find the right one for your device.I am using TWRP on my device.
If something goes wrong or for some reason you want to restore your phone to official rom you can flash a stock firmware using this guide.I hope I helped you.

Help LG G3 S D722 Stock Firmware

Hello XDA! First I want to say I am not new to rooting but I'm still noob at it.
So here's my problem. I've rooted my LG G3 S D722 (I don't know if it is known as Beat) 3 months ago and I wanted to unroot it today for a software update. The only problem is that I haven't unrooted it correctly. Now I can't root it anymore (or I don't know how). Anyway I wanted to unroot it so I heard a Hard Reset will unroot it but it wasn't like that. After I hard reseted it, a game app which I really like it keeps giving me crashes and I don't know what to do.
I'm thinking that my last solution is to downgrade the software to the stock firmware but I don't how, again. I've searched 12 hours today and I couldn't find anything brilliant and 100% working without breaking the device.
Device : LG G3 S D722
OS: Android
OS version: 5.0.2
ROM: Lollipop
Kernel version: 3.4.0+
Bandbase version: MPSS.DI.2.0.1.c1.15-00044-M8926DAAAANAZM-1
Compiler Number: LRX22G.A1440040099
Software version: V20d-EUR-XX
The point is I want to downgrade it to stock firmware first. If I can't do that I want to root it again (if it is possible) and install a custom ROM, but I would prefer the stock unrooted firmware. Any help?
Thanks in advance!
