Stock deodexed rom - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+

Anyone make a deodexed version of the this rom specific to our phones? Would like to use xposed but also want to keep all the edge features not just edge people.

Xposed works on Odexed roms as well. I'm running it on the stock rooted OK3 rom. Get it here

If you want deodex, you could do it yourself using this...

Good instructions for this here...

fyi, your performance will be lost by ~10,000 points using Quadrant Standard; well on mines it did.

I may just wait and try the stock rooted rom. Thanks for input.

I love Xposed, but not worth it to lose my phone performance.
Hopefully someone will make a Rom for our phone that is not for the "Note 5"; but for the actual "S6 edge +"

How difficult would it be to port a rom over from the other carriers for the developer edition? I understand there are build and kernel issues. I would be happy to experiment, but I have little knowledge in this area. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I've gotten a couple T-Mobile ROMs to install but when I change the APN settings for VZW they will not save.

AOSP will not install, it throws an error everytime. I have tried several times but I can't get the APN settings to stick to enable LTE.
Someone will figure it out eventually. I remember my galaxy s4 was in the same boat on GPE ROM for a while
So, basically I could flash something like dynamic kat and ktoonz or faux for tmobile, get it booted up, change the APN and if it sticks, I'm good to go?

You can either wait for root on the retail edition or purchase a developer edition when they are back in stock. Those of us who are flashing ROMs have purchased a developer edition that can be rooted unlike the retail edition that most have purchased that can not be rooted yet. The link I posted for a developer edition is the onlly way you can get one besides buying a used one. Verizon dose not supply these.
Is root getting close?

Hello, I looking for KitKat ROM, based on LG's stock firmware. I used Lollipop, but there is a few not working apps. Which one should I try?

You probably won't find one that is still in development but Cloudy is quite popular stock KK based ROM, which also has a LL version for certain variants.

That I'm not 100% about. I use stock so haven't fiddled with it yet. But my guess would be no. That being said, you can easily try it. If it doesn't work (loops, bugs, etc), you can always restore your backup (which I do assume you'll do before flashing )

You need to flash KK modem if you want to use KK Roms.
Thanks, and last one question. Is it possible, to get LG apps (like QuickRemote, LG Camera, or QuickCircle) in CM11?

Nope. There are some ports here and there but nothing like the original.

We have a T-Mobile Kernel now, What ROMS can we install?

now that we have a working kernel for our device, what roms are we able to flash with out kernel and have good results?
Will regular S6 roms work or will we have to stick to edge only? I dont mind about losing the edge function too much.

We had a kernel for a while lol....... You could regular s6 roms but u will lose all the edge functions.... international roms still don't work,
Nothing catches my eye more than a KT kernel though. Thanks for the suggestion of regular s6 roms.
You said international roms won't work, what does that include? Does Canadian versions work on our device?
Sent from my SM-G925T using XDA Free mobile app
I tried tmobile S6 rom which is XtreStoLite Pure Edition 1.0c with our custom kernel.....and is not working...(on full wipe)
I mean is working but when you switch screen OFF you can't switch ON back...
(PS screen is flashing looks like white/black colors)
So what do you mean we can flash other roms?
Come guys post links !
What recovery did you use? There's a user in the 5.1.1 rom thread who has had success using v2 TWRP in the same the ad. Really hope your wrong or using an old recovery, because I was looking forward to flashing that rom.

v2 recovery of cause.
I flashed stock rom via odin, flashed latest recovery via odin (v2 twrp)
Boot up the phone. After that restarted to recovery, full wiped, flashed that rom, flashes kernel.
Restarted. It's working until u will switch screen off.

Did u flashed on 5.1.1? Or on 5.0.2 ?
While on 5.0.2 would be the safest way to go, would be my best assumption, though I've tried neither yet. If you flashed while on 5.1.1, might be worth trying over 5.0.2 instead of waiting for others to reply and sitting idly! Just my $.02. :good:

Huh... So you haven't done over top of 5.1.1, then, I re-assume? Wouldn't have ever imagined that first... Might be worth trying 5.1.1, then if it doesn't work, we'll have to wait for the others. Hope you get it working, bud! :highfive:

Is there a custom ROM that is identical to the T-Mobile (D851) stock ROM?

I wasn't sure where to post this. Is there a custom ROM that is identical to the T-Mobile (D851) stock ROM but with more features? I really like the way the stock ROM looks and it would be awesome if a similar custom ROM existed.

no problem bro. This phone running stock with a few xposed modules and g3 tweaksbox is what you will ever need.
I'm in the same position as the op, rooted D851 and looking for more. So I attempted to install tweakbox. First step was to install the xposed framework. However, I get this message,
"Xposed is not (yet) compatible with Android SDK version 21 or your processor architecture (armeabi-v7a).
CANNOT LINK EXECUTABLE: could not load library "libdvm.so" needed by "/data/data/de robv android xposed installer /cache/app_process"; caused by library "libdvm.so" not found"
Can anyone offer any insight?

Recommended ROM for sm-n910v?

Mainly wanting to keep it clean, i prefer a stock debloat that's smooth and good on battery, a few bells and whistles are always nice but the main focus being functionality. Any suggestions? Comments on specific Roms?

Stock, rooted, then debloat it yourself with Debloater, perhaps?
Other than that, Jasmine more than likely which is based on stock but has some other goodies and can still benefit from debloating.

These two are your best bet for close to stock. Both are great on battery and on the newest firmware so it's just a preference on what mods you want. I have stock, rooted ROMs in post 2 and 3.

Unfortunately you will have to root and unlock again with this guide. Then you will be able to run the new ROMs. I found this guide very helpful too.
