i'm new to xda. i follow a fb page for 816. I rooted my phone and installed cm12 from there.
i wish to try out the stock lollipop now. But, i don't have a stock Rom backup to update it to lollipop. I have a cwm backup. But, it says to revert to official HTC system. i tried a couple of links. downloaded everything only to find out that the uploaded file was corrupted. I re downloaded it 3 more times just to confirm it.
My radio version is A5UL 1.101.1102.17.0506
OS entry is BLANK!

Install twrp recovery and then look for a twrp backup for your phone online and restore.
Similar issue here.
Has anyone come across - or - can anyone post a TWRP backup of their stock ROM for the Taiwan (TW) version of the D820u???
Preferrably lollipop Rom but KitKat would also be welcome.
Hours of searching through google I was only able to find the Indian version online...

Lollipop ROM is not available for the Taiwanese version bro They have not released Lollipop OTA yet.

IF YOU FOUND THE SOUTION THEN PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW YOU MANAGED TO INSTALL RECOVERY AND ROM WITHOUT RESTARTING AGAIN AND AGAIN

OPEN BOOTLOADER ( AS THERE IS NO OS)
GO TO ABD FOLLDER WHEREEVER YOU HAVE, THEN TYPE ''fastboot oem lock'' you are done

After trying to root my HTC 820u to delete system apps, then i got a bootloop. I have flash a few Custom Rom via Bootloader Recovery, 0PFJIMG with unlock and relock bootloader but no used. So please any body show me some how that i can get 6.0 Rooted ROM or just getting back to life will be enough.
