I'd consider sell mine
I'm one of the early adopters that might think of selling, send me a PM and we'll discuss it.
Edit, Think I might keep it.

I'm a early adopter as well. Bought a second electric blue to sell. PM if you're interested

I am kinda interested in this phone but then shipping to Malaysia makes this phone expensive

Anyone still selling one?

Ordered mint today.

I bought the midnight today... Wanted electric blue though.

Would love to purchase the Electric color if anybody wants to sell.
I didn't even know about the whole campaign. :/

ordered midnight here in india...so looking forward...

With the unlocked bootloader, I hope there will be some development.

Anyone looking to sell a Mint or electric blue Robin? Missed out on buying one...pm me please

Just ordered the mint yesterday as well! Wew was lucky to even get one

Upgraded "my survey"
I hope my order goes through ok.
Month's ago, when the Kickstarter campaign was in all the tech news, because of it's success, I read about it. The phone sounded interesting, different.
It sounded really good, so I went to the Kickstarter page. I was in a rush, and I didn't have much money, so I quickly pledged $40 (for a cuddly toy, as it turns out)
I didn't really follow up on that initial involvement until this last week.
I contacted Kickstarter, and told them all this, about my pledge, and that I would now like to buy the phone, they've emailed me. saying they will "unlock" my "pledge survey", so I can extend it.
It seems this means, I can add a phone, two cases, and a wall charger, to my cuddly toy order!
Hurrah. So hopefully an "electric" blue phone plus charger, a red "bumps" case, and a clear plastic case, are on their way to me as we speak (plus a cuddly toy)
Seems too simple, perhaps nearly 18 months with Oneplus One have made me cynical.

Sold my iPhone 6s plus and went back to the Moto e getting ready for the Robin to show up. This is going to be a long 2 weeks. ?
Sent from my MotoE2(4G-LTE) using Tapatalk

My order is still sat there, which is good in one way, because, after much heartsearching, I've changed from electric, to mint.
As I upgraded my pledge, I was given the "community" choice, the electric blue end caps, I really like the end caps, but I wasn't sure about the dark body.
Also, I'd been seeing pictures, and mock ups etc, in the Mint colour, from the outset. It's obviously the teams first bold step, or I imagine it could be. I'd like to have been a fly on the wall at their early planning meetings.
So really, neither of the other two were synonymous in my mind with an attempt at unique. Whereas the Mint ,is.
So, I just went back through the order choices, and changed the colour. Very handy.
However, it worries me that by order isn't locked yet.
Does anyone know how long after placing the order, or upgrading your pledge, they lock the account, and send out the phone.
I have to say that it is the phone's style, and build, which attract me, There are some really simple ways to increase the memory capacity of a mobile device, an SD card slot being the most blatently obvious.
This uploading to the cloud sounds like a really clunky way of storing stuff.
At the moment, I use a Oneplus One, with 64GB onboard memory. Also I have a 64GB memory stick, with USB one end, and micro USB on the other end. With USB On The Go, you can have as much storage as you like.
So, I'm really buying the look, and hoping some of the XDA Developer Community, are turning their thoughts towards this little beauty.

the longest month everrrr. I ordered mine the minute orders were back up and it's taking 2 weeks to even start shipping ?

I was a Kickstarter backer and received mine yesterday. NIce looking phone. Feels good.
Wife is excited for it.

I ordered one last week. They're coming right off the assembly line into the shipping trucks, but I know they are doing their check before going out. I can't wait to get it!

Don't Order from Amzer.com

Worst outsourced bulls*** customer service ever-- they change their ship dates without notifying anyone, ignore support tickets, tell you they will call you back and then don't-- the full ringer.
If you like being happy and hate worthless trashy companies, avoid these people at all costs.

I'm going through the same thing.... I ordered screen protectors from AMZER.COM on June 15 til now I haven't receive anything from them! I can't do anything but wait.
Sorry to hear about this everyone. Hope everything gets worked out
I was just about to order from them. However, after reading all the negative reviews...I decided to stay away
For what it's worth, I just got my two (different style) cases from them today. Yeah, it took a little while, but I got them.
I ordered an hdmi cable from them, but im not too worried. ill get it when i get it. I dont ever plan to use it anyway, its just cool to have. Besides, if your good enough to not need customer support, youll never have this problem with any company
I ordered from these guy about a month ago. I did not have high expectations of them then, but I did it anyway. I even read a few reviews like this about the company before hand.
Although it took a while, I got two nice cases for a reasonable price. I'm not going to complain that much. Yes, it would have been nice to get order updates or something, but, oh well. I have my cases.
I order black snap on case and hdmi cable and i got my package in 4 days. I personally like their services.

Phones4u selling HTC titan

Hi guys just wanted to share my experience with HTC titan. I went into the phones4u store in Basingstoke today and caught a glimpse of a demo unit being shown to a customer. When I asked to look at it I was sat down and asked plenty of questions about my contract. When being asked my name in a store I get a little uneasy... When asked for my phone number when I just want go have a look at a phone I fond it a little annoying. I did say to the girl I just wanted to look at it. She brought her manager over and he indicated the reason they ask the questions is incase i run off with the phone! Lol. I said i should not need to give my number just to look at the device and told him not to bother. I might have been the lucky new owner of a titan! Not today though!
I would plead with anyone in the UK not to bother with phones4u if you can help it. I felt very unwelcome and wish i had never gone in. I would also ask that

I could not read what I was writing. Using omnia 7 on xda app. It would not scroll down.
Continued: if anyone from HTC reads this please don't give phones4u exclusives if they treat their customers in this manner. After all in not going to buy a phone if i can't have a look at it!!
The glimpse from 6ft I did see it looked very nice !

I've totally agree with you. I have only been into a phone4u shop once and I don't think I ever will again. I found them quite rude and unprofessional. My first impression of the staff was chavs! They looked and dressed like the kids you see hanging around the spar shop at night.
I wouldn't trust them personally. Instead I've been using my local o2 shop for many years, mainly because its always a good experience!
Funny you mention it. I called a local store sometime this afternoon about it. They confirmed its availability, but were quick to ask my name. It was a rather strange feeling. Of course, I didn't. Apparently, they only have it on contract ATM and wanted an unlocked version anyways, so I could escape without them asking for my mother's maiden name.
thats what you folks get for doing all of that rioting over there lol
I went to Birmingham Phones4u today with intentions of picking up a TITAN.
The people who greeted me were VERY nice, the first phones they showed me, without me asking questions were the RADAR and TITAN.
I sat down and was told I would pay £33 a month for the TITAN and £9.99 for insurance.
I was fine with that, then 20mins later, they offered me the same deal for £31 p/m and £7.99 for insurance and a free accessory pack
I had a successful day

Awesome. Why don't you put up a (mini, video)review. I really want to know what that screen is like, constrast ratio and viewing angles most importantly. The only thing keeping me from getting it right now.

Unusual for them to be selling locked phones, usually they are sim free they just bundle the contract with the handset
They are unlocked from phones4u. I'm debating buying on eBay from ecell they are only£415 that and a giftgaff sim works out the same as 24 month contract. I just want to hold one and see if its too big. Anyway.. Post was phones4u related and i certainly won't be going back.

If you have ever held a HD7 then the titan would feel very similiar. I went to Phones4U yesterday and requested to see the Titan.. He sat me down and went to pick it up. Fresh out of the box, never turned on. I held it in my hand whilst Brian told me about HTC and his contracts and selling me stuff.
Excellent phone, much better than the HD7. Brighter, and much better build quality. I want one now!
He also took my name and phone number down, and asked me things like with who I am now and stuff..
I might pick one up. But not sure if I should go with phones4u.
So all in all I don't think they are very bad at phones4u. I went to the leading newest store in manchester and Brian was quite frendly.
If they will start phoning me now than I will tell them where to stick it!
One issue though is that they still try to sell me their androids phones. WTF?? I went in there for the titan. And yet he tried to shove me a sensation down my throat. Discusting!
The titan screen is almost half an inch bigger than the HD7. Similar is subjective. It's a bigger phone. If I want something that big, I'll wait and see if the Galaxy Note comes here, otherwise I'll see what comes to T-Mobile though I may be moving for work so a carrier change may be in order.
I can't do CDMA, though. No Simultaneous V&D rules Verizon and Sprint out for me.

I've been watching ecells listing too. 4 sold, 19 more available. The only reason I haven't bought this yet, Samsung and Nokia. If there weren't any rumors about an Omnia S and Nokia announced their line-up already! I hadn't heard about giffgaff but now! Unlimited internet for £10? Checking it out now!
Why Wont Anyone Upload Pictures Or Videos!!!
Gawd I'm so giddy.
Attached is a panorama mode picture I was sent from twitter.
That photo is very very nice. Thanks for posting. I was thinking about the Samsung and Nokia options too. Thing is I guess much like the first gen phones the specs of all the devices is going to be very similar. I have a couple preferences like large battery and super amoled plus but really I think the titan will stack up well against anything due for release in the next few months..
For those with the titan can you let me know if the speaker matches the omnia7's? Historically HTC speakers are very tinny. The hd7's was very very quiet too.
Thanks

OK, I take it back. Went to the store today and the folk were REALLY nice. Had a tour with the device. The screen is awesome sharp, no pixelation obvious. The black levels aren't as great as amoled screens, but not so bad really. Ordered one already!

We've known this for several weeks now. Negri Electronics has had it on pre-order for about a month...
I had one on pre-order a few weeks ago, back when it was at $714 (estimated price) and couldn't justify the extra price (and wait) when the grey one was available for $565 a week after placing my pre-order. Even at current price its $64 more than the grey CAN model. Not sure if its worth it.
I think of it as a Grey model + Extended battery (and a few $$ to spare) or a White model. Think I'll order my battery soon.
Excellent.
My wife was going to go with the Galaxy S2 in white due to it looking more like a females device, but she loves my Galaxy Nexus so I am pretttty sure she'll give up her White iphone 4 now.

How did you pay that much just a week ago? it's been cheaper than that for a while now... Negri has had it for $595 (CAN) and $622 (Latin/UK) for like 3 weeks now.
I wonder if the grey GN will look any good with the battery cover from the white GN.
The black-grey-white combination might be nice.

That was the cheapest price I found on Amazon a week ago (US). Didn't really want to buy it anywhere else since they are pretty easy about returns and I wasn't real sure I would like the phone at the time.
Not familiar with Negri, but at least now I know I like the phone, so I think I could try them if they are trustworthy. Just have to think if I really want it in white now.
And of course even on Amazon the prices have come down a quite a bit since last week.

Well I'd trust a solid US-based importer (Negri) over some random Amazon seller (no offense, but lots of shady characters on there especially in grey market imports). Especially when its $60 cheaper . But everyone has their own comfort level.
looks pretty cool, a bit to girly for me.
I still don't understand the attraction to white cell phones. Do people look at their phones and think "I like it, but I really wish you could see the filth it's covered in more clearly..."

Part of my decision also. I think white phones are extremely sexy, but I was worried that the smallest scratch would end up showing much easier on white, and I was worried about discoloration over time.

Of course it worked out. But other retailers work out too and offer free shipping, but they're cheaper lol. Negri even let you checkout with Amazon (I ended up choosing Google Checkout) which offers the same buyer protection. But anyways...
Personal choice. You choose where to spend your money and if the white version is worth it to you. You can't change how much you paid for the grey version now.

Just thought it was neat a white version was available now.
i hate it when companies won't release a device in its variations simultaneously. If they would have done that with the nexus so that black and white was available from the beginning i would have bought the white instead of the black one.

I think I am with you on this one. The white one looks pretty sweet and I think looks a whole lot better to me than the black/grey one. If I had a choice between the two when it was released, I probably would have considered the white one over the black one.
What happens if it chips? Is it all white plastic or is it coated like the evo was with a red freakin core that would make scratches look horrible
its freakin beautiful but their selling it for much more everywhere and im 99% always gonna have a case on it so it isnt worth it

Unreal customer service: "Flygrip" pretty much rocks.

Two days ago, I ordered a couple of these: http://goo.gl/9PSGA, and even paid an extra 25 bucks for overnight shipping because I have this certain instant gratification issue I can't seem to shake...
Anyway, I got a tracking number but noticed it was only being shipped First Class ground, which meant a 2-5 day arrival. Obviously, they made a mistake, and I was a little upset about waiting after paying more for shipping than the cost of the actual product.
So, I went ahead and emailed them this morning at 10 a.m. about the issue.
Thirty minutes later, my phone rang with an area code I wasn't familiar with.
It was a dude named "Michael" calling from Flygrip.
He began by telling me that their shipping department had, in fact, dropped the ball, and apologized up front for that.
But, he also told me that he had just personally just driven over a replacement of my entire order over to FedEx to make sure I get them first thing tomorrow morning (FedEx wasn't the original shipper; it was USPS, and those are still coming).
I was pretty blown away by the quick, personal response, but not nearly as blown away as I was a little later, after I happened to re-watch one of their other videos.
That "dude" Michael?
Yeah, he was only the owner AND founder of the company, and had taken time out of his day to personally take care of my little issue.
I was doubly impressed again, to say the least.
Now, I'm just really looking forward to getting these and trying them out, (I got one for my SGSIII, and one for my Evo4gLTE.), and also wanted to ask:
Does anyone else use the "Flygrip"?
If so, how do you like it?
Or, does anyone else have a similar awesome customer service story concerning your Android devices?

whoa. that's awesome though. important to see a business that dedicated to satisfying customers. made me even more likeable to buying myself one.
im just getting into car sales and this is one of the most important ways to make the customer feel appreciated and will give them the desire to purchase from the company again. its a win win for the business because 1. you're satisfying the customer and 2. you're building your reputation. What you did with this thread was just show how good of a company they are and subconsciously referred us to buy from them. I know I will purchase from them. Excellent customer service goes a long way.
QBKing77 loves the flygrip

I would like to personalize one with a picture or logo like seen in the video below. But I don't see the option on their website. Are they no longer doing this?

Nextbin now owned by Razer? Any thoughts?

Nextbin was bought by Razer........https://www.cnet.com/news/nextbit-robin-phone-will-be-no-more-as-new-owner-razer-steps-in/
Here is another article:
http://www.theverge.com/2017/1/30/14442204/nextbit-razer-acquisition
I actually just bought the nextbin robin a couple days ago as a backup phone for my nexus 6p and today I saw this. From the looks, it seems this may be why it was probably reduced so much in price (paid $159.99 on Amazon). From what is in that article, it seems they won't be making anymore phones but will offer support up until Feb 2018.
Yes I also saw this on the news and was disappointed as I really liked this phone and the story behind the company. I also wonder what will happen with the cloud storage if they are only supporting for an additional year will they still maintain the server's that are storing g our stuff? Wonder if this will drive the price of the Robin up?
I purchased 2x Robin's yesterday, should get them tomorrow. Saw this news this morning and now I'm trying to decide if I should keep them or send them back. Any ideas?
Pretty disappointed in the acquisition, I liked the aesthetics and the ideas. I hope they keep them going forward with Razor but I doubt Razor will let them.
The warranty expiring is also pretty disappointing as well as how long the phone will be supported for.
I still wish them the best. Hope we'll see some good phones.
Bought my Robin in December, before that back in September I bought a Pebble 2....the rest you guys know
Yeah it seems backing things on Kickstarter are really risky, even if the company does well and delivers on its campaign this can happen. I'm going to be a lot more apprehensive about Kickstarter... been burned a few times on things that haven't come through. Now this too lol
Very sad I got this phone because of the message they sent and really liked the phone I wish they wouldn't have sold out
