I have Asus fonepad 7 with android version 5.0. I tried hard to root this device. But all in vain. Please help in rooting my device . Thanks in Advance.

Hi guys,
surfing the internet i found that the Asus fonepad 7 FE170CG (that should be the k012) is upgradable to android 4.4 kitkat. Here you can see in the official page:

I have the k012 but I'm stuck at android 4.3. Someone has received the upgrade?
I failed to upgrade because rooted...
You must reinstalled your android os
Try downloading the firmware file again and reinstall it correctly... Rooting is not the issue, i have upgraded rooted only!
