[REQUEST] Black Status Bar

I'm looking for something simple and flashable that will just change the Sense 5 status bar from the grey radial gradient to a solid black, but I want to keep the Sense 5 icons, they're great. This stupid grey statusbar is literally killing all of Sense for me, and I LOVE the rest of sense, but the status bar is omnipresent and I'm really just not a fan.
I'm running Android Revolution 9.3 but I don't mind switching Sense ROMS if necessary.

Me too, it's difficult to see the white icons when I have a bright wallpaper set.

ps. if you don't want the statusbar black on your homescreen, open the zip & delete statusbar_background_launcher.9.png before you flash it.

Thanks so much! I flashed that but it's ONLY black on the home screen for me. Anyone else have this issue?
Also, will it still flash if we edit the .zip?

it wont change for various htc apps, blinkfeed or appdrawer. You can thank htc for how the handle statusbars on sense 5. & yes it will flash if you remove images, just open it, don't extract it.

I'm not seeing it even in 3rd party apps like Facebook, Twitter, etc. Thanks though!

Could it be the ROM i'm using? Android Revolution 9.3? Tempted to flash TrickDroid to see if that helps anything...

ah that sucks man, perhaps it is only compatible with TrickDroid? I've only used it with TrickDroid and it's worked with all versions of it.

I had to flash TrickDroid for it work

I flashed it and removed the launcher file and its working fine in apps. But is there any way to prevent it from blacking out the status bar in Nova?

With Xposed not working with ART and i am running ARHD 34.0 i am looking to customise the look of my phone.
I have Go Launcher and Swiftkey installed so it covers so much. What else can i do to cuatomise my phone. i.e the colors of the nav bar and other thngs.

You can use the Xposed Module Android N-fy to get only the Notifications style, if you active others options will cause bootloop or System UI FC.
I want this theme on AOSP, I'm using RR.

Stock no mids just unlocked bootloader

No mods, but based on the appearance of your keyboard you have a theme installed.
