[ROM][UBER][5.1.1][OFFICIAL]OrionLP ROM for JFLTEXX!{V1.8}[28/10/2015]

Hey Everyone I know there hasn't been a update for a while don't worry work is going on in the background and I should have a new build out by January sorry its taken so long but I'm not just doing a jfltexx only build this new build will be unified so all models will be included first few build will need to be tested before official release thou thank you all

OrionLP is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh? ). We started this project for falcon (Moto G), to make a stable Rom which would include Bitsyko layers and important customization. The Rom is built with Uber toolchain which delivers awesome smoothness and is packed with a custom kernel built from ground-up to ensure good performance [WIP]. Needless to say, this project is a product of our hobbies and the love we bore for Android.

I read your rom, seams legit, can you port to my gs4 tmo?

hello, i'm using this rom and it fast and stable but i have one question. in the op it said that audiofx is removed and replace by viper4android but after install this rom i got 2 of them. there is no adiutor kernel, and in the download link it say 1.2 but my version showing 1.1 . is it normal or i missed something?

I'm using this rom for about a week now and I'm pleased!
Until now, where my phone won't start anymore :crying:
As soon as I activated the force RTL in the Developer options, System UI crashed and is not able to run again, not even after a reboot.
Does anyone maybe know the adb shell command to turn it off again or have an other fix without losing my setup?

Alot of ROMs for flounder suffer from this. This isn't the only one.

Viper driver stall doesn't stick, and layers do not install or uninstall easily.

Another rom with layers instead of cm theme engine - nice to see that! I will surely test this one soon
One question though. What kernel sources are you using? I may recommend checking zg85 github (https://github.com/HealthyHoney/kernel/commits/lp511), he's doing a really well job for our D802. And probably flashing his kernel or any slim-based rom would cause a bootloop due to ramdisk incompatibilities.

ok found the issue. I've have first applied xposed module and then layers. so it doesn't work or eneded up in bootloop. When first activating layers than xposed it worked well.
now I have one problem..
how can I completely disable nav bar and slim pie ? as you can see the nav bar is gone but the place below seems still to be there for the nav bar. I've tried to set the high level to 0 dpi, I completely disable navbar with gravitybox, Ive added the line to build. prop to hide it.... but it just doesn't vanish completely ...

I've found a bug: I'm loosing Wi-Fi. It dropped the connection
fix wifi: do not restore password with titanium backup. If you do that you will loose wifi connection. Than you have to delete the /data/misc/wifi folder or so

Xposed isn't that stable for 5.1, its mods may not work properly..
Yes, I'll be bringing the updates.. Orionlp 1.6 has released, some problem with my server, I'll update it as soon as possible..

We don't want to bloat the ROM by adding many or useless features.. Our features are hand picked by our team after analysing it.. I'll look into this..
Unfortunately Currently we don't have hide alarm icon.
Orion 1.6 is ready, will release it as soon as its possible.

I don't know about hybrid bootstack.. But it works well with lp bootstack, you could try it with hybrid and let us know if you got time.

Sound to me is normal. The full support f2fs is only available in gearcm or roms who use it as a base.

Your work is mind blowing and awesome. Very fast stable ROM. Everything perfect.
Got to taste slim after a very very long time. Floating windows is something special. Fastest ROM I can say. Nice work.

Does it have camera problem as in cms or aosp roms. If you open camera a few times then it doesnt open. Does this rom habe this same issue?

No issues, camera and everything else is just perfect here. What is something special is the speed and buttery smoothness in the ROM which can be felt while using and scrolling. Enjoy it.

Please advise users what version of OpenGApps you recommend they use. I'm going to try Nano if they fit.

Nano doesn't fit, need to use Pico.

Been using this for several days now and even with Magisk, Xposed, and several other system hacks installed it is quite stable and boots up very quickly. Much more stable than a prvious 8.1 ROM I was using.

I cannot say it stable enough but I'm agreed, it boots so fast and never slow down even if the ram is in 200+ free.

Any of chance WireGuard support for this rom?
