recently I bought battery and screwdrivers to change my battery since it was really poor.. After replacing it now my phone works perfecty, except autofocus is not working anymone...
Can anyone please tell me what did I do wrong? I used this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNQM8Nb632Q
So if anyone is good enough to tell me which connector or something that I can do to fix the autofocus? I dont want to dissamble my phone agan and not know what to do, so any help will be appreciated...

I need some assistance with a hardware issue with my IPAQ 2490b.
About a year ago I had to replace the display of my IPAQ 2490b, but during the procedure I broke two components on the motherboard that I suppose are responsible for the USB connection to the computer. Since then my IPAQ is not recognized by a PC nor does it do charging through the USB. This wasn't really a big issue since now, because I did most of my syncing through BT, however with the aging WM5 I would like to be able to use on of the WM6 roms that we have around, however for that I need my USB connection.
I searched the net for a schematic of the IPAQ device, but I wasn't able to find one. I took some pictures of the components that are broken on my IPAQ 2490b mobo, so would somebody be so kind to tell me if he either knows or could find out, what are those, so I can replace them.

I have the dash for two weeks now (wm6.5)... about 3 days ago and out of the blue the lcd started to show this white scanlines. It was just placed next to the pc and connected by the usb cable when i noticed the problem (it wasn´t phisically damaged). I hard reseted it...nothing. Installed wm6 and wm5 and nothing.. the lines are still there. I am pretty upset with this matter
Is it the lcd or something else..?
How can i fix it and prevent this to happen again?
Does anybody know if this problem is covered by the warranty and under which arguments?

Maybe something is loose regarding your lcd (hardware), If you haven't dropped maybe you should give a shot with your warranty and probably you will get a new dash
sure you have problem with your display.you must change,or if it is new go to store,for change.good luck,and a happy cristmanth
if you say you already did some hard reseting then it's a hardware problem.. if the warranty does not cover it then try to disarm it following the instructions that you can find in this forum.. suerte amigo!
Thanks guys for the advices. I purchased a new lcd, relaced it and now it works right, seems like the problem is solved. I hope i don´t get any more problems in the future cause the dash has everything i want in a mobile phone.

And no, you can't put in a higher res camera.
ebay may have a replacement part.
the main problem and that the camera does not work me, and I have tried to inform to me in a center of assistance in my city (Trieste - Italy) and they have answered to me that the camera of reciprocation does not have to us and very difficult to reperire. And so me meeting without camera and this gives much annoyance to me being that drawn my Elf with much cure.
and on ebay they aren't successful to find it and for this I wondered if by chance it were possible to mount a camera of an other compatible model HTC with l Elf.?
Was it the HTC service centre that said the camera is broken? Did they mention if it was the detachable camera board, or something more?
All I can really suggest is backup, hard reset, does it work?
If not, well, then I would suggest maybe opening your device and checking how the camera board is seating into the mainboard. If it is all fine, you may need to find a new one. Either a new phone, or a new camera board from a dead elf.

I used kdz to install 6.0 in my lg g3, everything is working fine except for the camera, i turn the phone off twice and now the only thing that is working is the front facing camera.
I tried factory reset and some camera apps but the problem is still there.
Can you guys help me?.

EDIT: I MAGANED TO SOLVE THE ISSUE, I HAD TO PUT A PIECE OF PAPER IN THE BACK OF THE PHONE. THANKS =)
I seem to have the same problem... both on Jasmine ROM and the latest and greatest RR rom. How did you fix the camera problem?

Hi man, at first i was able to solved it with a piece of paper in the back of the phone, but ultimately i had to buy a new camera, i install it and its working great, now im having issues with battery and restart loop but i left the phone at the sat.

Please explain a little better what you mean for "put a piece of paper in the back of the phone", it could be a solution for a lot of people here on xda

But that explains how to stop G3 from rebooting, not to repair rear camera, it's completely ot

I put that piece of paper and the camera started to work just fine, dunno if you could solve another issue, the piece of paper next to the camera not the one with the battery

Oh, Yes, I've done it. No luck. Problem's still here.
Update: the problem got fixed for about 10 minutes, before appearing again.

Sorry man, not happy to heard that, i think you should buy another camera.

I'm having problem with my desire 820's battery. It drains so quickly and takes too much time to recharge. I'm planning to replace it with new one. The problem is it turn off at 15-20% and these days, even at 30%. Is anyone else having same problem because it started happening since i upgraded software version of phone.
Will the new battery solve the problem??
If anyone has clue on this please suggest me.

What is the upgrade has been made on the phone? D820n TML Discovery? PS. You'd better to flash on runoff

it's software version is 3.17.720.3
Main battery problems occurred after this final upgrade. I did formatted the phone but it's just
short while solution. need a long term solution.
