[Q]ASUS FonePad 7 (ME372CG) Rom installing

Hi
I downloaded "http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/EeePAD/ME372CG/UL-K00E-WW-6_3_6_0-user.zip" so copy it on sd card and rename it to "ASUS_BUNDLE.zip" and after factory reset and selecting sd download after reboot I stay in asus logo !
I erased system and data and cache whit this commands
fastboot erase data
fastboot erase system
fastboot erase cache
and try to install the rom with this command :
fastboot flash update UL-K00E-WW-6_3_6_0-user.zip
but i got this error:

i renamed to ME372CG_all_WW_user_V5.1.6.raw
I'm not get error now just it restarted and now tablet freazing in asus logo...
when its on zip ext recovery got me error that cant found ASus bundle or image file
but now it cant give me error

Don't rename it to ME372CG_all_WW_user_V5.1.6.raw just edit extension to raw
If still no success you have to flash 5.2.2 raw firmware in order to use dlpkgfile method

then now I get error failed cant find image file :crying:
raw file download will complate after 4 hours...
then can i use the big file UL-K00E-WW-6_3_6_0-user.zip(945MB)to update?!

Then the only way you are left with is flashing 5.2.2 raw file by placing it into your ext card and using SD download

I tried to download the "UL-K00E-WW-6_3_6_0-user.zip" from ASUS but it seems they removed the firmware.
It shows an 404 http error page

Don't worry bro..... I have simple solution for this. You don't need to download that SDK(1.6GB) file.
firstly, download "android-sdk_r24.4.1-windows" on sony website otherwise you can find in google also.
secondly, install that and open "SDK Manager" .

Can you tell me how to deodex d5102? Every time i tried to deodexed, it erorred. Phone and Xperia Home can't work probably(Phone always appear a box: Unfortunately, Phone has stopped working.)(Xperia Home is Black the screen). If you can, make a full video about zip, deodex using deodex tool. Thank you!

It works. But i was unable to install a ROM ZIP file from ASUS Website. It says that the zip file is for WW_PHONE (I know !!) but my phone is a OMNI_ZE500KL.. What ?? What is this ? Never heard about this before. My problem is here :

there is a trick on this phone when you boot not official boot or recovery image,
it will get stuck in boot logo if you reboot.
the solution is to restore aboot-bak to aboot partition, so that's what i did in "init.restore.sh" script.

I'd suggest using /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/aboot instead.

Do not flash official ROM zip in TWRP recovery, try it in official recovery or modify the ROM zip script.

I am not an android program-maker. I don't know anything about that. I will wait for an custom rom. As I posted here http://forum.xda-developers.com/zen...ng-rom-zip-asus-ze500kl-t3302389#post65465004, Original recovery is unable to flash. It's weird !!!
Anyway, very good job for this twrp. It gives me hope !!!

Please

The best i've done till now is to :
- download the .222 stock rom from Asus
- Extract it, and edit the update-script to remove the 4 first line talking about device kind
- Recompress in ZIP and flash through this TWRP 3.0.0.0 (it's weird that stock recovery can't flash the original ZIP) ==>> no more error device, it said that it succeed
But it don't really fix all problems :
- The device is booting and i can access the welcome screen, but either it stucks and reboot automatically after 3 or 4 minutes, or stucks and i have to remove battery, or i have a lot of errors like "goggle play stopped" or "process.xxxx stopped" or something like these

Install instructions:
1. Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik
2. Mount system and vendor than flash the Rom
3. Boot system (maybe bootloops once)
4. Complete setup
5. Reboot to recovery and mount system and vendor
6. Flash OOS_dipper-reboot-fix (wipes your internal storage when you aren't logged in your Google account)
Workarounds:
Bluetooth fix:
To get Bluetooth on, you have sometimes to tap on Bluetooth, lock your display and unlock it after some seconds. If it's still doesn't go on you have to repeat this some times.
Or you use the Terminal to activate Bluetooth
Face unlock fix:
Flash Face unlock patch from here, go to settings/security/smart lock and choose Face unlock
Recommendations:
•Oxy-ify magisk module for some missing OOS Apps
•Aether for substratum to tweak the quick settings
•Recommended GCam
What´s working:
Almost everything
Bugs:
•Double tap to wake doesn´t work
•Turn Bluetooth on can be a little bit tricky but it works
•Vibration works for notifications, etc. but not for haptic

Thanks it worked! I was using 9.4.25 firmware because i was getting isssues with 9.4.26 firmware on other roms.

I hope next update will fix BT, and NFC, really like this OOS for dipper thanks.
not expected to fix 100% the bugs but actually I can use this for daily drivers.

not an update right now my boot loader is unlocked and no os in it wiped everything but flashing china beta from showing a different error which I didn't seen it before let me flash it again and share you the screenshot

Twrp/wipe format data type yes/reboot TWRP.
This will create a new partition if needed.
If errors, reds lines restart the operation by restarting on the Twrp, at each try.

ok i got it bro when i flashed it first time is showed me to reboot recovery again to flash more zip files since the recovery rom file size is huge we need to flash the same zip file 2nd time after rebooting the recovery once again . now it booted successfully
