TWRP is an open source, community project. TWRP development is done by roughly 4 people at this point. We also have a large support community with many people who are willing to answer questions and help people with their devices either through our IRC channel or on forums like xda-developers.
Team Win was originally formed to work on porting WiMAX to CM7 for the HTC EVO 4G. After our work on the EVO 4G we wanted to work on a project that would work on more devices than just the EVO 4G and we settled on working on a recovery. Today TWRP is the leading custom recovery for Android phones.
A custom recovery is used for installing custom software on your device. This custom software can include smaller modifications like rooting your device or even replacing the firmware of the device with a completely custom “ROM” like OmniROM
You can find the source code for TWRP at github.com/omnirom/android_bootable_recovery/

And this: Font of text messages in this RECOWERY is too small. This is uncomfortable. Can you make it more bigger?

You should offer to be the official maintainer. See my posts in the official TWRP maguro thread.

You probably just need to email Dees_Troy. :good:

Thanks for the build!
Unfortunately, it seems like 3.0 still cannot access encrypted /data partitions (of android 5.1), or is this a bug only on maguro builds?

I finally tested the recovery today. Flashing both a 5.1 ROM and Gapps worked flawlessly. Sideloading and pushing files through ADB also works fine. Thank you again for this!

Can you install OpenGapps (e. g. Micro) for 6.0 with this recovery? The first unofficial build couldn't do this.

Encryption does not make any sense on Android, since Google always knows the encryption key. Disabling encryption boosts writing speed at least twice.

Probably yes, it's better.

Hello, I've also installed this recovery and seems all is working fine. Good job.

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KitKat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
I add no features and i am not going to add something other.
What's CodeAurora Forums ?
Code Aurora Forum (CAF) is a consortium of companies with projects serving the mobile wireless industry. Software projects it concerns itself with are e.g. Android for MSM, Femto Linux Project, LLVM, MSM WLAN and Linux-MSM. Code Aurora is basically AOSP plus all Qualcomm specific enhancements and optimization.

I do not think that is the issue, as I flashed the rom and super su and got boot loop like last time, but I will give it a go anyway

This rom be epic. Not as many features as other roms but you probably can't beat the stability and the cleanliness of this rom, and will be my daily driver for a while now. This rom has a lot of potential, do not give up on it @xdahero1

Root has been removed by default, I can add it into the builds if enough people want it but its best to leave it as an option for now to allow better compatibility across applications.

Great to see a much-stock-as-possible ROM.
Other ROM builds seem to have issues with the google camera and/or the front camera resolution. How is that on this ROM?

Unified builds (3 and 3T) have the source needed to get both devices to work by cramming all the needed files into the same source tree (which is messy, hard to keep maintained and will probably cause problems in the long run)
Dedicated builds (3T) just has the source needed for the OnePlus 3T and has more optimisations that are specific to the OP3T (which means better performance, battery and a lot more positive affects)
awesome see pure Lineage, testing here. keep going congratz

NOUGAT WITH OMS
STABLE, BUT NOT MEANT FOR "NORMAL USERS" WHO EXPECT AN OEM-LIKE ROM.
Resurrection Remix Nougat has been based on CM/LOS, Slim, Omni and original Remix ROM builds, this creates an awesome combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features, brought directly to your device.
Many things in previous versions were tweaked with mods, are now included by default in the ROM so, please enjoy!
Special thanks to, the CM team, OMNI team, SLIMROMS and of course to all the supporters.

Make sure you have the 1.2gb system partition.
Then wipe everything in twrp( except internel, etc)
reboot recovery, flash the rom.

It's obviously a problem at your end, because no one else has it.
Status 7 is usually a corrupt zip, so I'd recommend re-downloading. It would also help if you could paste the entire recovery log.
Everything is working fine for me till now except the camera.Camera doesn't work

DOWNLOAD ROM
GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing crDroid to your Mi Note 3, or coming from another ROM: <--THESE MAY NEED UPDATING FOR YOUR PARTICULAR DEVICE; BE THOROUGH IN INSTRUCTIONS-->
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (latest TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
