Wow let me be the first to thank you! Hopefully a cure for the red check!

Full DEODEX is uploading....

Do I need to have updated the boot image from the other thread to use this ROM? I updated the firmware with the latest twrp (your .zip) and am still on viper 3.5.0.

OK, so I'm S off, rooted, and on stock base 3.10.605.7. Which firmware update do I need to load? Just want to make sure I get it right!! Sorry for questions.

From the other thread, use this one:
3.37.605.7_NoBoot-NoRecovery_firmware.zip
If you want to update your TWRP at the same time, use the one below it. I flashed the first one using TWRP 2.8.7.0 just fine though.

Exactly...and I'm using the TWRP included in the zip with TWRP 3.0.0-1 included, which I suggest, since TWRP 3.X is required for flashing 2+GB roms.

Thanks for posting these. Setting up odex version now. I'll be patiently waiting for the debloat file to drop.

Thanks @santod040 for coming through YET AGAIN! Xposed question out there for any advice? Obviously few have tested, plan on trying it first thing as soon as deodexed drops. (arm64sdk22 version I'm pretty sure is correct?)

Requirements:
Flashtool 0.9.16 by @Androxyde
XZDualRecovery 2.7.124 BETA or newer.
Current rooted FW version: 14.3.A.0.757.
Special features:
SuperSU integrated in system, FULL ROOT!
XZDualRecovery 2.7.132 BETA (CWM & PhilZ Touch & TWRP) pre-installed;
init.d support (read how to enable)
For both locked and unlocked bootloaders!
In the following guide I suggest you use an external SDCard but that's just good practice, you can use your internal storage or even an USB OTG storage device in TWRP if you like to install, that's no problem!... If you are modding and the likes, best is to have an external sdcard, just for safeties sake.
How to update to 14.4.A.0.108:
Files (Find them on the download tab!) :
For C6902: Download C6902_14.4.A.0.108.flashable.zip (1022MB) and C6902_14.4.A.0.108_Stripped.ftf (21MB)
For C6903: Download C6903_14.4.A.0.108.flashable.zip (947MB) and C6903_14.4.A.0.108_Stripped.ftf (21MB)
For C6906: Download C6906_14.4.A.0.108.flashable.zip (970MB) and C6906_14.4.A.0.108_Stripped.ftf (21MB)
For C6943: Download C6943_14.4.A.0.108.flashable.zip (1003MB) and C6943_14.4.A.0.108_Stripped.ftf (21MB)
Save them somewhere you remember;
Put 'C69XX_14.4.A.0.108.flashable.zip' on (the external) SDcard1;
Put 'C69XX_14.4.A.0.108_Stripped.ftf' inside the Flashtool/firmwares folder;
Create a backup of your phone in TWRP and don't forget to backup the contents of 'SDCard' (the internal storage!);
Flash 'C69XX_14.4.A.0.108.flashable.zip' in TWRP (if you notice your phone reboot during the update process, update to the latest XZDualRecovery and try again);
NOTE: do not reboot but go back to the main menu, then go to reboot->power off;
Flash everything in 'C69XX_14.4.A.0.108_Stripped.ftf' using flashtool;
Reboot to system.
The first boot will be slow and after some time at the boot animation you will see Android start optimizing the apps on your phone.
Enjoy! :laugh:
@RHBH has created a deodex package for each of these releases. Check out his thread here.
Need some help?
@shem2409 has made a video guide to aid you in the update process:
Thanks buddy, great work, as always!
Known XZDualRecovery Issues:
Busybox Updater/Installer: If you have XZDualRecovery installed, un-install any Busybox updating app/tool as most if not all of them will install a version of busybox which does not support the lzma compression applets XZDualRecovery depends on. The version installed together with XZDualRecovery is very stable and I have yet to hear anyone complain about it's stability.
How to report errors:
Please, before shouting out "It doesn't work!!1!" or "I lost root!" or even "My phone reboots when remounting /system RW!!" try the following:
Restore any KitKat FTF using any means you are familiar with so you can try again.
Root it using the Easy Root Tool by @zxz0O0 and install XZDualRecovery, or
Install XZDualRecovery using option 3 in the installer menu (installation on unrooted ROM)
Then try to update again using TWRP.
If it still fails something from there on: LOGS!!.
NOTE: The important ones can be found in /cache/recovery and in /sdcard1/XZDualRecovery, pack them up and send them to me or attach them to your bug report.
Thank you

It will probably work when coming from any JB or KitKat version, but I tend to keep it a safe bet on the OP
So where is this firmware based? I mean, the countrry, like FR AE and such? Also, if i already have rooted .108 (4.4.4) on my z1 C6903, can i just flash the zip file in twrp and not the ftf anymore? Also, can i dirty flash it?

You could try to create a backup of your data partition and then do a factory reset from TWRP. This will not mess with your internal storage if you don't want it to.
Then see if it turns on again. Could be something changed in how it gets addressed in the config...

But seeing you have an unlocked bootloader as well... X-Reality should not even work anymore ever since you unlocked it...

woop. I guess I won't update for now!
Is there SdCard read&write issue on this firmware too mate? I meant, do we have to edit permission.xml file again after flashing this? I am currently not able to move apps to sd nor i can use third part backup&restore apps like " GOBACKUP" with 4.4.2 , but with the 532 stock kernel i can do it. Issue is still there on the firmware 14.3.A.0.757 stripped by NUT I need your help man. I used everything on XDA, no hope.

if you want the newer firmware, yea, i'd do that.. but i didnt try to flash the rom before i changed my mid and flashed the firmware
you could still try it, if it doesnt work it will give you an error when you try to install the rom
Llab is back! Can't wait to flash this. My daily driver on the ol' One M7.
i regret not being s-off right now....
Oh man, finally some Maximus love for the 10!
I need to get off my lazy backside and convert my T-Mobile US to WWE. Maybe tomorrow.
So what exactly should the cid and mid be to flash the custom firmware?
Can this ROM be installed without s-off? I don't want to go s-off because I'm a bit new to the scene and I would prefer to stay s-on as some kind of security blanket for when I screw up.

[ROM][STABLE][TW][N][7.0][AQF7][06.07.17][SM-G955F/FD/N] BatStock-Rom V1.2.0

This rom is tested and working on SM-G955F/FD/N variants only! Do not try this on other variants without any backup!

Installing this Rom will void warranty. Installing TWRP will trip knox to 0x1! Secure folder and Samsung Pay will be unusable
Hey folks! I bet you know me from the S7/S7 Edge forums
I did/I'm still doing some work there with the SuperStock-Rom (which is quite similar to this rom here on the S8+ actually), or the probably most known Rom on the S7 edge: SuperMan-Rom. So, what's the aim of this rom? Trying to be as close to stock as possible with some nice modifications as: Always up to date, knox fake, auto updated bootloader/modem. You can check full feature list below!
And why the name "BatStock-Rom"? I will do a custom rom (which has similar features to my SuperMan-Rom) with the name "BatMan-Rom" that's why.
Rom Features V1.1.1:
- Based on latest AQF7
- Latest AQF7stock kernel or BatStock Kernel
- June security patch
- SuperSU V282 SR1, Phh superuser or MagiskSU
- Magisk v13
- Rom is full ODEX for better speed
- Gear VR working
- Aroma installer
- Debloat menu in aroma
- sd card rw
- dm-verity disabled
- force encryption disabled
- Auto model choose in script to flash right files
- Auto update BL/CP for F/FD model aroma
- iOS emojis
- Knox 0x0 faked on running system
- Safetynet pass
Bugs:
- You tell me
HOW-TO Install the rom:
0. Make sure you have ticked OEM Unlock in Developer settings and have a backup of your user apps!
1. Download latest bootloader and modem from here:
Bootloader/Modem
2. Download latest odin
3. Flash BL (bootloader) in BL tab and CP (modem) in CP tab of odin. Then follow the steps on this side until you get a working custom recovery: TWRP for S8+ (to enter download mode, press power+bixby button+volume down)
4. If you are done with bootloader, modem and recovery we can move on, boot into twrp holding power, bixby button and volume up while phone is powered off
5. This will delete all your personal data! In TWRP recovery: Click on wipe, format data and type "yes"
6. Wait until it is finished then click reboot, reboot to recovery
7. Now connect your phone to PC and copy the rom file inside your internal or external sd card
8. Flash the rom and wait until it is finished
9. Reboot your phone and wait till it finished booting
10. After you setup your phone, check if magisk/busybox got installed. If not install them from playstore

Congrats Tkkg1994!! Nice to see you here:good:
Any clue why there was an auto-reboot at the end of aroma?
Thank you, glad to see you !!!!
Maybe the nucleus immediately
Does Samsung pay work?
Awesome to see so much development for the S8Plus so far. Seems like when the S7 Edge was first released, development was very slow to start - it picked up eventually, but at the beginning, there were very few roms to choose from.
Your Entry into the custom roms in these forums just adds more options - glad to see you here and look forward to continued development.
By the way, per the last posted question - Am I wrong or is it not possible to get Samsung Pay to work on rooted rom? (Even with magisk)? I know Android Pay works fine with Magisk Hide - but I never heard of any rom with SAMSUNG PAY working....of course I could be mistaken....

Yes. If you read aroma carefully you know why. If you update bootloader it will autoreboot in order to actually install the bootloader

That was because I did not have a s7 from the very beginning
Samsung pay was reported working on some s7 users phones. Anyway I could never verify or try myself since it's not even available in my country :/

You cannot flash magisk in stock recovery. And even if you have TWRP patched with Magisk, you cannot flash magisk in twrp. You need to update Magisk with Manager.
As TWRP will be prerooted with Magisk or when you patch it once, no need to add Magisk in any zips. You reboot to rooted system and done.
Please read the Magisk Instructions to understand how it's going on the 10 series.

Sorry for being a little dense but to clarify:
If one is to flash your 'Rom' over stock S10, one first roots as per instructions for Magisk,
then boot to Recovery by long-holding Vol Up button, flash your zip and then finally boot to 'System with Magisk'?

Hoping I get this correct from soldier in Telegram chat but no, you can't use his modpack until another variant of rooting comes along, via twrp.
John's implementation just doesn't disable some crucial things as the other variant will.
1.2 released
added device check for build.prop stuff
fully fixed app debloating
added aroma option to replace Warning splash screens
added Samsung Digital Wellbeing to Aroma debloat option
added Secure Wifi and SecureFolder to always remove list

You need the June firmware/vendor, don't know what happens if you don't. I just know its enough of a difference that TWRP works with march blobs but not with June blobs.
Absolutely awesome thank you OP

Looks like stock, just less bloatware. Google apps like gmail and chrome also aren't included. Not a big deal just pointing it out.
So I tried to root this thin using the @PBandJ method. But instead of grabbing the stock boot.img and patching that through Magisk, I grabbed this ROM's boot.img and did the same thing. I was able to flash the .img and reboot with no problem...but Magisk still shows that it isn't installed and I am not rooted. Not sure what's wrong here?

Those root threads are for stock.
Since this is a custom ROM the boot image is probably already modified to accept Magisk modifications or it is already rooted. So, did you try just a direct install from the Magisk manager app?
Choosing < Direct Install (recommend) > without any fastboot flashing or or any other actions?

I downloaded the Magisk manager and the only option to install Magisk is the .zip...but I'm not sure how to install a zip without TWRP. I would usually use an app but since I'm not rooted I can't.

Right. I know what I'm doing and I've been around Android since like 2010, but this just isn't working. I haven't gotten the nerve to actually fastboot flash the zip file for Magisk yet.

I know the feeling! Frustrating and fun to troubleshoot at the same time. Haha
On more question. Did you have the have the Edge Sense module installed prior to flashing the ROM?
