CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Note : CM-11 is only for jellybean (v20) baseband. If you are on ics (v10) baseband flash v20 baseband from this thread
Format everything other then Sd card (Full format is must needed when you flash cm11 1st time)
Flash the CM11. zip
Reboot
boot into recovery mode
Install gapps
Reboot
Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 11:

Thanks for your work, discovered bugs:
1. MMS sending not working (sending and sending and sending...)
2. External SD card is not mounted on /storage/sdcard1 (storage/sdcard1 is empty)
3. Missing some settings (quick menu, notifications,...)
For alpha release is more than good ROM.

Quick settins arent missing ,CM still havent merged them into cm11.

Try deleting the nfc.apk from /System/App

1. Cannot test this myself. Check your APN's and send logcat if if not from APN's.
2. I noticed, fix is on the way
3. Not merged in CM yet.
- Please don't ask me about deep slep on P705. I have a P700. Flash P705 kernel and see.
- P708 users please let me know if camera works. There have been some changes with liboemcamera

They should be same ..just try this ..
It was pretty smooth even though it's not overclocked ,though without sd card ,it's not really useable yet. Will be waiting for that fix.

They are not the same kernels. This is stock kernel with no OC.

Uhm... cr3pt's build is from the same sources (THLG), he just added -exp kernel. This is the official build for our sources.

1. APN-s are there but can't be edited. The /system/etc/apns-conf.xml values are correct. The interesting thing is that I have 4 APN-s for internet and I can select what is want to use and there are 2 APN-s for mms, but there is no option to select the right one. I think this the problem, because on first boot until I don't select the APN for data connection I haven't internet, when I select the right one, the data connection is working. I think if I can choose the APN for MMS the problem will be resolved.

Installation instructions:

- reboot to recovery (seems that you have to first: unmount /data).
- flash zip
- wipe (have not tried if upgrade from kitkat works and won't test this anyway)
For newer updates with CM updater and/or if you want f2fs, you might need a new recovery. Here is the cm recovery from 5-FEB-2015: recovery-cm-5-FEB-2015.img

I tried to encrypt the device. I Let it run for ~3 hours. Stuck on boot.

No prob. I just re-synced the kernel with stuff from grouper. Those things are not really necessary for cm-12.0
EDIT: there's a new 0.2 version that has recent changes.

I loaded the Omni version which worked but was a little slow - using ART not DALVIK. If anyone else tries this, I found the experience was interesting - you will have to choose a small(er) version of GAPPs to fit on the system partition. I used the version on the XDA PA-GAPPs site that was just over 200 MB in size. I'm back using CM11 because I use this puppy every day.

Official cm12 is out but no tf300

Selinux is not in enforced mode so I can't enable nightlies. That's a must for cm now. If any one can help me on that...

It was not a hard requirement to have Selinux enabled in cm-11.0. It is now a minimum requirement from CM.
BTW: I have fixed the major selinux denials now and the tf300t is now accepted on the official CM nightlies.

Download a nightly and place it in the cmupdater folder. Go to your updater and flash the nightly that shows up. After reboot you will see nightly's again.

What's the issue? You should be able to flash this with the existing CWM recovery (from the CM11 thread).

Thanks for the build. I flashed it and so far it seems great for a beta. The only issue I'm having other than the camera is lte is iffy, sometimes it works but most of the time it won't. It was the same for other LP builds. I'm on the NE4 bootloader if it matters, if you want a logcat let me know and I'll try to grab one.

Sorry can't comment on this.

Flashed with no problems on my T999L. Beside the camera the only problem I see is the clock is showing GMT time instead of PST for me. I did check the settings. Seems like a great start.

It is always safer to wipe first, then flash the rom clean. Less chance of something going wrong.

Yes please share the logs.

I am building another build, if this compiles will update the OP. Seems there are couple of updates on AudioFx and Music app from CM in this build along with SE Linux, CAF updates.
Hope the last build was strong.

How to install the rom:
If you're coming from a stock rom, a previous Android version (CM 9, CM 10, CM 10.1, CM 10.2 and derivatives) or if you have a CM 11.0 older than Release 15, read carefully the following steps
-Download the rom
-Reboot inside TWRP recovery, because now you must be sure to use the new one (inside TWRP, Home -> Reboot -> Recovery)
-Wipe Data,cache as ext4 or f2fs partition (Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Select Data -> Repair or Change File System -> Change File System -> EXT4 or F2FS -> Swipe)
-Install the rom package
-Reboot the system

bcuz you playboy ,why not focus on "full advance" first

tested works good but words are really small and battery life is the same has CM12.1 by maclaw really drains fast even on standby

Aegis app is like purity app.
Can't find it integrated feature in other rom.

On my phone battery life almost same with stock Asus rom. Yes I used this rom as daily driver. Stable. Smooth.

Turn off Adblocker in yr browser or any adblocking app. Then try nd wait for 60 sec countdown get over to pop up download link.

no, i mean after download about 30-40% it ended...
but nevermind, tried download using pc and it done

Because at first ther is small incremental update file link will appear on page,you have to let countdown get completed to see full rom download link generated.hmmm

hmmm i already said the download already started 30%-ish... , so of course the link already set (after waited 60sc) ... it ended not succesfull while on my device, ... but with my pc it done just fine .. i dont know, but while download other roms its fine with my mobile ...
