Teclast X3 Pro, the first 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD tablet pc - Device Reviews and Information

I have read the nice news that Teclast will also announce Teclast X3 pro which will be the first RAM 8GB and 128GB SSD tablet pc.
This is the same chipset as the Cube i9, which was just been released. Hot on heels of Cube, Teclast have gone for more RAM, 8GB of daul channel ram Vs the 4GB of dual channel ram in the i9.
It seems Teclast X3 pro will be th higher version of Teclast X2 pro. But gone is the last gen Core M 5Y10, replaced with the much more powerful, but still fanless Core M3-6Y30.
In one image it looks like we have USB 3.1 Type-C port? I wonder if it will finally have Wireless AC?
As for the price, it will be sold at $599 from E-Shop. So the official price will be around $385-$400 in China.
Are you looking forward to Teclast X3 pro tablet pc?

I'm planning to buy this tablet.

I like it,.. it resolves my main issue with the X16 Power — a PC with the computing power of the Samsung Galaxy S4. This is much closer to the S7 that just came out.
I am a *little* worried about android studio in 8GB of ram, I've seen my system go up over 8 with the emulator running .. but I guess I'll just have to get use to using a testbed device if I get this.

8Gb of RAM? God what are you going to do with that! Although it seems marketed towards professionals..

I still can't believe it, and it is true, maybe the RAM 4GB can't afford the needs of the users like you.

8gigs of RAM is a must nowadays on proper computers, so I'm glad that it comes with these.

Almost.. yeah. Mostly due to Chrome using that much RAM.

Do you think it will have a real mSATA drive or one of those slower eMMC ones?

It is a real mSATA
"Like all the other Chinese Core M tablet tested here at Tech Tablets, the X2 Pro comes with a M.2 2242 spec 64GB SSD or 128GB SSD. My version here is the 64GB model. Speeds are good and definitely a huge step up from the eMMC drives seen in the Atom tablets. And since the tablet has USB 3 ports you can make more use of the faster sequential read and write speeds without any storage bottlenecks."

Yup. Also confirmed with product FAQ on GearBest.

The fact that it's fanless will it lead it to increase of temperature? I hope not. It's now on presale on geekbuying for about 478usd which is a bit less than expected.

CARE ? , no vendor has available , NOT the official day that will be released is known .

I am ordering, hopefully they can ship early May. Rumors are 30th April is the first batch shipping

Mine just got shipped. I have ordered with keyboard ans x2 stylus, which is compatible according to Teclast FB support. I will keep you posted

Letv Le Max Pro, first Snapdragon 820 Octa core 4GB phone is coming on Jan.5,2016
Now i read the news from Chinese tech. It’s said Letv will usher Letv Le Max Pro smartphone on Jan. 5, 2016, and it will release the event at Caesars Palace in LA .
From sources the phone, codenamed the X910, will feature a 5.5-inch 2K display, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 21 mega-pixel main camera and will be a true bezel-less design with 2.5D glass display.
Leaked renders of the phone show a very sleek design which has a curved rear and 3D curved display. The render also seems to show an impression on the chin where a home button fingerprint scanner may sit.
So will you look forward to this Letv Le Max Pro smartphone?
Looking forward to seeing this x910
My x800 sent this
I don't understand why these are rumors if they already showed it off at CES.

I thought that fingerprint scanners on screens were BS but I guess we're that far ahead already.
It's rumored Letv le Max pro will be on sale on Feb 23 at 3,699 RMB around $567. It seems it is so expensive for the users. And there is some interested rumor that Letv will release Letv Le Max Pro on Feb 23, before Xiaomi Mi5 Officially launches. So Xiaomi and Letv has become the best rival in smartphone industry.
Seems like this phone might never be released, at this rate....
Where to buy?
Anyone know what the story with pricing is? Was originally touted as $350 - 400 US but its no on sale at 600-700 which frankly isnt competitive with the GS7. Had my hopes set on this one but not at this kinda pricing.

When will be in stock?
Hrmm... Looks intriguing! 4gb ram, cherry trail, and that high resolution would be interesting indeed. I guess it all depends on the price.
hmm, nice tablet... where can I found more cheap at presale? maybe i want to buy one
P.S. Full hd <3
Chuwi has a very good name in the market and their products price is one of the factors that make Chiuwi so competitive. Therefore, I would like to see a nice low price. Do you know when the presale will start?
How much?
I predict it will be $250.
whats the price tag? is it availble only in china?
I only hope the 12" version comes with Android 6.x pre-installed and Chuwi releases an update to Android 6.x for the 10" version.
I highly doubt the 12" screen resolution is going to be 1920x1200, it's very likely going to be 1920x1080 judging by the looks of the leaked pictures.

Good tablets
It is a nice Tablet, but I dont know why they would release the exact same thing just re-badged I wonder what the price will be like. They stand to lose a bit of credibility if they increase the price. Especially with so much competition out there now, I think its very risky indeed.
Just picked one of these up from GearBest for $177. Hard to argue at that price. This is my first foray into cheap Chinese tablets. I'll post when I get it, which should be a week or so.
Hey guys,
Does anyone know what the battery life is like on this ? Looking for a tablet to use while backpacking ( watch movies on long bus journeys etc..)

Are you connecting to a 2.4ghz or 5ghz network? It only supports 2.4ghz wifi and that may be your problem if you are only running 5ghz.

Wi fi issue
Hello guys, I' m new member of XDA, I'm Italian and sorry for my not perfect English..
I bought an x98 plus II from gearbest,I tried for 5 days and I want to ask you how to solve some problem.....
1) WiFi has as poor range of connection, at about 6-7 meter with a wall in the middle lost the signal( I tried in my house from the living to my room, and at the house of my friend with different router, the same, I tried all, change the channel, windows boot, many option, nothing work). :crying:
2) OTA updater stop the download at 54 mb with message ( network error).
3) Android has some bug, and not is translate...
Some of you have the same problem and can help me?
Have you find how to root the device and a ROM to install into?
Thanks for all. You are the best of the android developers...:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

You could always use a USB wifi dongle that supports 5ghz, but it probably would only work in Windows.
I don't mind the 2.4ghz only. 5Ghz is great in speeds but **** in range and wall penetration and I have not had issues streaming on my Vita to my PS4 or my Shield to my PC on 2.4ghz.
Okay, here are my thoughts:
- There are differences between the 4 (?) models of the X98 series from Teclast. The plus II has no 3G and the back camera is just 2 megapixels (not very impressive, but who really takes photes with a tablet?), while the Plus 3G has mobile data support and a better rear camera. As others I have also still not figured out the difference between Plus and Plus II ... besides the obvious one (changed body).
- I ordered one some days ago at gearbest for less than 150 euros. This is damn cheap ... fingers crossed it has a much higher quality than the price would imply
- You can find some ROMs for the Teclast X98 Plus on needrom.com. I wonder, whether they will also work on the X98 Plus II. They are labeled for the "A5C8" tablet. Can someone please check the label on the backside of the tablet, whether the Plus II is also called "A5C8"? Tnx a lot in advance!
