Hi there.
You can try these steps:
- Root your phone
- install busybox (do not change anything)
- install trickster
Change CPU governor from "interactive" to "conservative"
And your G3 should have no problem anymore

LT15i Custom kernels performance

Hi, first at all i want to say that i tested nearly every rom & kernel combinations and still i'm not satisfied with the performance. Overall device is performing better (i'm running @1,4GHz - Stock Plus & DoomKernels 15-20) and in 3D heavy games framerate is higher for sure, but there's a lot of stuttering and sometimes games are unplayable (for example Backstab and Asphalt 6 with annoying one sec stuttering). On stock kernel game (Backstab) is running without any performance issues (only few dropped frames when there's a high draw distance) and the device itself is running "only" at 1GHz. Now something about DoomKernel - interface is not running smoothly (with simple 3D live wallpaper but 2d is ok) and i can give you another gaming example with MC3 - main menu is running at ~20 fps (and game itself is also stuttering) and on stock kernel/stock plus it's much smoother. So there is any fix for my problem or it's something wrong with my arc or what . Stock kernel by Sony > custom kernels? Something is wrong here... Thanks in advance and pardon about my english .
try playing on performance governor
I played with governors with no result ;(

okay, now i'm gonna "stress test" every single governor available in kernel ; d
Bump!
I've added a video :<

Have you tried Stockplus Kernel? It's based on DoomKernel but has a lot of changes and tweaks. Some people report better results with it when compared to DoomKernel.

CPU Govenor : SMARTASS v2 Min 200Mhz - Max 800Mhz
i/o scheduler : DEADLINE
try instaling build 4 without any polishvodka fixes.... + RoXSel kernel
Subway surfers, temple run and minion rush tend to become faster as you start playing more

Well, in my opinion 4.2.2 still need some work and fix. Gaming run smoothly using CM10
Device : Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 (GT-I1860)
ROM : CyanogenMod 10 Unofficial
i dont have any problems in playing games on 4.2.2... but everyone can choose...
First of all install Easy Cpu control and set the governor to performance and io scheduler to deadline, this way your cpu will maintaine it`s speed at 800mhz but it will not drain the battery any faster than usual. Lowest speed should still be 200mhZ.
Enable developer options, a then disable all animations, they will be set to 1x speed, just click on that and choose no animations.
And lastly enable 2d forced rendering.
Hope it helps you. I have zero lag on JB.

I put the maximum frequency of the CPU and the Governor - performance ... but FPS games has not changed. And if you choose a mode of performance in the application, the FPS becomes much higher. Sorry for my english, i from Russia. I am hope for your help.

[LG D855] Best rom and kernel for performance for screen recording while gaming?

Hi everyone!
TL;DR:
Need Rom that can delivery max performance to game and record at 1080p
Need Kernel for max performance (idc about battery, but not performance governors pls, I care about temperatures!)
---
I was thinking about starting a YouTube channel where I record myself playing a recently developed game, I tried recording with Screen Recorder and Az Recorder and the game stutters quite a bit.
I am currently on Cloudy 2.5 and Gabriel Kernel, I've tried already CM 12 and 13 (but at the time it had a bug that forced me to switch to cloudy).
So my question was, which rom is the most lightweight? So I can use all my CPU and GPU to deliver max performance to game and recording and which kernel offers the most performances?
I know that I could set the governor to performance but that will result in an hour of gaming maximum plus the fact that the LG G3 suffers from overheating problems (16gb model )
Thanks all in advance!!

my cpu throttling when gaming

My device runs at 1.9ghz when im doing light tasks such as browsing facebook and web. But when i start gaming it bumps all 8cores down to 1.6ghz resulting to significant drop in performance. Is this the device's normal behavior or mine is no good?
ps: Already clean flashed rom via ODIN. All stock.
https://youtu.be/qlXsTKHMQNg heres the vid. It stutters alot in coc.
Try to enable performance mode in settings, and disable touchiwz game tools, and game launcher .etc
I cant find any performance mode in my device. I did unoptimize battery usage of all my games but results are still the same.
