[App] Camera Super Pixel (high quality photos) - Micromax Canvas A1

Hi all,
I'm very happy to announce that next version of the app will be also compatible with Micromax Canvas A1.
Bad news is that Canvas A1 (6.0.1) is limited to 2.1MP burst shots (rear camera could support 5MP), good news is that this is the full resolution of the front camera. You can shot 8.3 MP selfies with a big quality improvement (sharper and noiseless pics).
I have attached a beta on this thread to test the app. Please, report me if you have any problem on your device. Thanks!

Go to this thread for default quality of pics in any updated version after kitkat

Hi I bought one of these and after 2 days of use I updated it and it worked fine for 5 hours then it got up to 45°c and when I go to boot it up the screen is flashing black on and of until its dead then when I charge it it boots.
During the flashing series it can boot to fastboot but recovery is blank and doesn't work???
I think its a battery issue but not completely sure so I need help to fix this as bluboo don't reply to emails. Please comment any help at all as it would be highly appreciated ?
I've never heard of something like this happening on XFires, does it still take a charge?

I want to see this info too!
I think it does not have this sony IMX486 sensor...
The people of kimovil web, tested the MWC unit and getting the info from a picture taken with this unit, they say it have a Samsung S5K2L7 sensor for the primary rear camera.
P.D. Sorry for my english
Camera information
back_aux: whyred_s5k5e8_ofilm_i
back: whyred_imx486_ofilm_global_i
front: whyred_imx376_ofilm_global_i
Extracted from my Redmi Note 5 Pro.
Great!!!
I supose is the indian version no?
I hope it keeps in the global version
anyway it seems strange that mount a "better" sensor than the new mi mix 2s
Anyone knows which sensor they put on the Chinese / Global versions?
I saw a video telling that they used a Samsung S7 sensor on the Chinese version, but I do not have any corfirmation regard this.
---------- Post added at 03:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:43 PM ----------
Finaly, Chinese camera sensor info:
back_aux: whyred_s5k5e8_ofilm_i
back: whyred_s5k2l7_ofilm_cn_i
front: whyred_ov13855_sunny_cn_i
Rear main camera not has the Samsung Galaxy S7 sensor(the S5K2L1) though, but a very similar one.
Front camera has an omnivision sensor.
I really wanna see a comparassion against indian version.

Can you send the link of this video?
Thanks in advance
Samsung S5K2L7 with F1.9 aperture as the main rear and OV13855/S5K3L8 with F2.0 as the front for the Chinese variant. Higher number of IMX486 doesn't indicate anything when compared to IMX363. IMX363 should be a polished version of IMX362, and the same applies to IMX486 with IMX386. Sony's logic is weird.

Gcam port?

Bokeh effect on the stock camera is horrible. Wont survive without G-Cam port!
Low light and indoor is also not good. Gcam needed for sure. Please port asap.
Did you guys got a Gcam port for 5.1Plus?

Gcam for Redmi Note 8 Pro

No GCam camera for Redmi Note 8 Pro. The MediaTek processor does not support this software.
Mm...ur wrong. We have gcam. But its not better than stock
Can you upload stoc and gcam photos for comparison?
i use this one, it was for kirin 980 and work well https://mega.nz/#!bFdQUILT!aUG4Dr8u8GMTZ_hisIbRn-sAkG2pF9kCQtyIJjjfDQU
Quality of the photos is very bad
The latest version of the @fu24 gcam is functional.
Found here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=80266565&postcount=378
Edit:
The gcam works, the photo makes it, even with the wide angle, but the hdr+ doesn't work. There is no difference between taking a photo with the hdr+ deactivated, hdr+ activated and hdr+ enhanced.
Let's see if any dev can run the hdr+ on this device..... @fu24

On Note 8 Pro "global" version...
Pro :
- it works
- this version is able to recognize wide angle and macro with proper settings
- panorama and photosphere seems to be available
Cons :
- photos are worst than stock application
- front camera is recognize as 5MP
- choosing video leads to crash
- night mode and portrait mode aren't available
I probably will try other versions to help in the future...

Reason for recognizing front cam as 5MP is that its a 20MP snapper with pixel binning so the output with GCam will always be 5MP (20/4) untill the developer tweaks this.
---------- Post added at 02:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:20 PM ----------
Although MediaTek chipsets are not bad as per my personal experience with them but they always lack a developers community.
Same is the case happening with Redmi Note 8 Pro. We all know that GCam brought wonders to Redmi Note 7 and 7 Pro with the GCam ports but with Redmi Note 8/8 Pro lineup we can only take benefit of GCam port with only regular variant i.e. Redmi Note 8. Everyone wishes to play with new 64MP sensor with GCam on it but not the developers community. Sad for everyone of us who has the Redmi Note 8 Pro or is planning to own one (like me).
plz correct me if I'm wrong
gcam goodness depends on Qualcomm DSP,
without it, its better to use stock camera app

With Redmi note 8 pro and Mediatek Chip, developers will pay attention to this chip.. Xiaomi will sold a lot of this phone so.. also between them will be developers.. Kernel source is realised..
When I buy Redmi note 7 in April, I wait couple months for first custom ROMs.. now we have it a lot..
Also ,after some time , RN8 pro will get it to also..
