One more if needed

Awesome. Thank you for this build and you're very welcome.

Testing on 2ndary D851 Good job so far. Thanks for this as I saw you had a initial release for other lg3's.

New build is up guys: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24459283995302755
Nitin

Kinda surprised there isn't more interest in this ROM, seems to have good features & opts. Will be giving it a try on wife's phone this weekend.

I'm going to give it a shot. Looks nice.

Excellent
I've been using Liquidsmooth since my Nexus 4, I've also been waiting to jump into Marshmellow so I think I'll give this a go round when I get home from work!

I clean flashed this ROM, and it seems to run pretty smoothly! Thank you nitin.chobhe for your hard work.
How can I add the Live Wallpapers option in display settings?
Also, is there a way to add a Kill All button in the Recents menu, and to not have the Google search bar?
Lastly, I can't get AdAway app to start - I get a popup that SuperSu needs a binary upgrade (which I made sure I had) or thatI'm not rooted (which clearly I am) - Any ideas?

This is just a quick response based on first flash of new version.
The kill all button is there. It's just located below all the thumbnails. You have to scroll them up to see it.
I see no settings regarding Recents/Overview so probably no way to remove search bar unless you use Xposed and something like GravityBox.
Seems to be no live wallpaper app included. Don't know if there is an installable app to bring that functionality.
I have no root or even visible SuperSU. Same thing happened with last two builds of BrokenOS. In that case I wound up just flashing SuperSU 2.52.
Personally I am not a fan of this systemless root jive.
Gonna start over and flash the ROM twice (per a tip I read) to see if SU shows up. If not I have another workaround to try.
LG G3 D851, XOSP ROM, Tapatalk 4.9.5

No matter what I still get no root or visible SuperSU. Could be a permissions issue, I don't know. So I just flashed v2.52 in the meantime.
Could be multirom-related but won't know 'til I flash ROM in normal/primary slot.

Super su is there. Check attached screenshot...
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Free mobile app

Yes, but for me it doesn't show up, after three flashes. Not in Settings -> Apps either.
Having this issue with BrokenOS I had gone to Play Store to check, there was no indication SU was installed. No update or uninstall buttons.
Which version of SU is included, BTW. Want to see if I have a matching zip or apk. Maybe after flashing ROM I can flash same version afterward to see if it helps.

Chances are you did this but it doesn't hurt to ask...Did you tap the build button until it gave you developer options? Superuser only shows up in settings arfter that.

What just going to suggest that.

If developer options isn't already enabled then I make sure to do so as one of my first tasks.
Some/most ROMs have root that can be disabled/enabled in developer option. I don't remember if LD has root (not counting SuperSU).
Now, SuperSU just isn't visible. Not even in Settings -> Apps with show system on. Flashing it after the fact is the only way I get it.
If the Batman vs Superman business doesn't wear me out tonight (I work at a drive-in) I'll do another clean flash but with no gapps for testing.

Thanks Marc, as usual you're most helpful - I did finally find the kill recents button exactly where you said it is. I'm so used to having it float over the apps in other ROMs, I didn't see it at first.
FWIW, I clean-flashed this just once, and SuperSu showed up for me. I then uninstalled SuperSu and reinstalled the latest along with the binary...but that did not resolve my AdAway issues.
Bluetooth Share is very dodgy for me on this ROM, it will not keep my settings after a reboot, and it crashes regularly, as on other ROMs. I have returned to RR for now...

Can anyone recommend me a baseband that works on marshmallow please reply i just cant make a call on android 6.0

Oh snap..... Eliminater74 at it again.
Yaazzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Can't wait.
UpDate & News Flash: This is my First Build Of This ROM:, It was suggested to me by a friend. Since pac is on vacation right now, I needed something I could build and count on.
Dont except this build to be perfect in every way.. My Next Build will be much better. I dont tweak the heck out of anything till I know it can be built and work.
This Rom was tested by me and a few others. Its Fast and seem stable enough.
YOU will have to flash my BlueTooth Mod to fix the bluetooth issue. Thats is a vendor problem. since the vendor I used didnt have the updated ones I used in the kernel.
You wont need the wifi mod, unless you want updated libs, same for Data fix................
Plz Report back soon peepz.
So this will work as secondary with multirom? And any recommendations for GAPPs.
Edit: I tried to install this rom as secondary with multirom. The screen went black at some point in recovery. I had to pull the battery to restart. Same happened for Candy 6.

I use open gapps.. works for me. But I build my own packages.....
Please let us know how things are going mates.
downloading, will post any kinks if I run across them, thanks for the build.
edit for update,
APN does not have the mmsc in it, i.e. http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
also to get the clear all button to show up in recent, you have to turn it off and back on, temasek spare parts/recent panel/ first option, turn off then on will work.
I booted in without adding a gapps package, will report anything else I run acrossacross
all the gapps I have tried so far error out at boot, says setup something is busted.
browser will force close when you try to download unless you go into app info and change permissions for storage to "on"
Can't seem to get pass the splash screen. Using open gapps 6.0 pico Rebooted another 3x's --- I'm in! Thanks for the hard work. I knew it wouldn't be long before you got a mm rom out!!!!!

I used my own package of Open Gapps that I packaged up together.. maybe thats why it work for me.
I create my package from source method, as the open gapps github shows you......
UpDate News: I rebuilt with Doze Mode, I also added a few other things to speed it up more.
Doze was ported over by @aclegg2011 , So thanks to him..
I also aded something the developer him self suggest about the screen and boot animation................
I changed the default kernel to my stable branch............

my t mobile APN was not properly filled in with all the info, even had to add MMS to the default, supl,MMS part of it.
still looking for a working gapps, hoping I don't have to use the full stock, that adds so much pewp and it overwrites some apps.
update, my setup wizard force close was fixed by going into apps and turning on all permissions. google play works now,
spoke to soon, no more errors but can't download from play store.

- Synced beanstalk sources
- Synced device specific repos
- Full changelog can be found in setting -> about phone -> about beanstalk -> beanstalk changelogs
Important note about this build
- The device wouldn't boot with SELinux set to enforcing,so it is permissive. I have set it to enforcing via Kernel Adiutor-Mod and in limited testing experienced no issues. Your results may vary. There is a switch in developer options to do the same thing, but it just causes the settings to FC if selected. My advice: If you really want or need SELinux set to enforcing then use another ROM.
- The beanstalk specific repos that separate this ROM from LineageOS (frameworks/base,vender etc) have not been updated in 2 months. Therefore, the security patch is still at July 5. This will almost certainly be my last build of this ROM as it was a very difficult build since all of the Lineage repos have been updated and the Beanstalk ones not. This created many build issues.

I can't see it here, but I posted screenshots. I guess you go to the screenshot tab. I'm not sure. It doesn't show in Tapatalk.
I can say that it if you like LOS 14.1, but want Magisk,OMS and more features included then this might be for you.
Edit:
Yeah, I just viewed the thread via the web. Click the screenshot tab at the top of the thread. I thought that would add them to the original post, but apparently not.

I have a question, I would like to replace the magisk, by the normal root, the classic, is there any way?

Well,Magisk is more integrated into the system than just the MagiskManager app and patching the boot image. When Magisk is flashed with the ROM it backs up the original boot.img. I suppose you could restore that. However,as I said its a bit more integrated into the build than that, but I'd imagine that would mostly get rid of it. Have a look at the Magisk forum on here. I'm sure they have all of these answers.

a few questions
does this Rom pass SafetyNet check? - don't know if a virgin S5mini with StockRom ever passed it.
even when i tried to flash back StockRom after lineage os - no success. Either devices get ,,flagged'' by google with serial number of device, or it simply won't pass with S5mini
do browsers like Firefox or Gello Mod work in it? - in LOS 14.1 with Magisk they had fc...
does substratum fully work on this Rom? - according to rom updates... ?

No it won't pass. I'm currently trying to work on a build that will pass safetynet by trying to use some build flags and adding some things to the default.prop. Someone who has succeeded in "tricking" safteynet is helping me out some. I'm not sure what the status of SELinux is for our device currently,so I'm not sure whether or not it's going to work.

would be AMAZING!!! the status of SE is permissive, but changed to enforcing after 2nd reboot with v12.0 - but then the browsers didn't work anymore.
I'm really looking FORWARD to this :fingers-crossed:
and of course if the update process of Rom is flawlessly working with installed substratum...

This was a bit of my concern..That enforcing would break things. I am not sure how to fix this as SELinux and sepolicies are not my thing. I'll try to build using some flags and additions for safetynet and see what happens. Hopefully at some point the browser problem when set to enforcing will be fixed.

So, am I right that among all these roms, none has all the oprions: quick unlock, button remapping (changigng recent to menu), privacy guard?
Have not tried Bean Stalk yet. Maybe it has it all!

Hmm,well that would be weird. Can anyone else confirm? If so I won't be able to fix til tomorrow. I don't see why there would be a problem though.

To God be the glory, my OmniRom Nougat project finally boots on the LG G4!
This is a WORK IN PROGRESS! Please be advised, I do not recommend this for a daily driver yet, but I need a few testers to help me with testing. The ROM is not rooted by default. I have tested SuperSu but Magisk may also be a viable option once it is stable.
I have a H811, and I am building for both the H811 and the H815. I typically do not release test builds, but I need to know if it is working on the H815 as well. If you are willing to help by testing it, that would be great! Please let me know in this thread.
**** This is an UNOFFICIAL ROM. THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. Install at your own risk! ****
The goal of Omni is to experiment with Android development because we enjoy it. Omni isn’t better, just different. It’s another option for the billion Android users out there. Android (vs. iOS and every other mobile OS) has thrived on options as well as the gigantic, talented development community that has emerged to build those options. That’s the beauty of Android – that you can pick and choose from a smorgasbord of devices with varying features and functionality.

(There may be other versions, 2.79 is the only version I personally tested.)
http://www.supersu.com/download
!!!FIRST BOOT CAN TAKE LONGER THAN 5 EARTH MINUTES TO COMPLETE!!!
!!!PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY, AS THEY MAY BE DIFFERENT THEN WHAT YOU ARE USED TO!!!
Installation instructions ( TO BE NON-ROOTED ) :
-Download ROM, and put it on your phone's external storage.
-Reboot into recovery mode - TWRP (I peronally installed this using 2.8.7.0, but newer version recommended.)
-Backup what you had. (Just to be safe.)
-Wipe. (I recommend an advanced wipe, but at least do the basic wipe.)
-Install Rom.
-Reboot and enjoy, reminder, it can take over 5 minutes to boot the first time!
OPTIONAL FOR ROOT:
-After the first boot, reboot into recovery and flash SuperSU. I tested this with 2.79. Remember, it will reboot a few times for the first start up.
Code:
Untested:
- Cellular call and receive. (need an h815 tester).
- Cellular data. (need an h815 tester).

What works:
So far everything that I have tried works, such as
- Camera for video and pictures * see "what doesn't"
- Audio
- Bluetooth
- WiFi
- PTP/MTP
- Multi-Window
etc....
What doesn't:
- Every camera app is inverted in the display, but the picture taken is normal.
- If using built in camera app, picture taken has a green bar on the left or right side.
-->Other camera apps do not have this problem. (e.g. open camera app.)
- Let me know in the forums if you find other issues.

Change log:
Code:
20170815
-Fixed issue with video playback.
-Built in camera app now can take video.
-Non-built in camera apps now do not have green bar in photo, so they are completely normal photos.
20170810
-Fixed cellular calls
-Fixed cellular data
20170809
-Initial release!
-ENG build for testing.
Alpha is uploaded! Let me know if you test it how it went! Be sure to look at the "Untested" list and provide feedback. Log cats are very helpful please feel free to include them, but I would rather have feedback without log cats than no feedback at all.
And reserved.....
As you can see in the pictures above, the inverted camera display has the icon for previous pictures on the right. That looks normal, and so do the pictures (with the exception of having a green bar all down the left side for front camera, right side for rear camera). WIP.

Okay,
Looks like the cellular was non functional on that build, but I have made another build with working cellular calls/data. I will try to upload that and get it posted tomorrow.

Okay, build with working cellular call/receiving/data is up. I have only tested the H811 version, if any H815 testers could respond, that would be great!
Link is in the OP: ALPHA-workingcellular.
Latest news:
I found a problem when trying to play back videos, where the video displays but is "stuck" on the first frame, while sound continues, now that issue is resolved in the 0815 build.
Also, in the 0815 build, the built in camera app can now take video. All photos taken by any non-built in camera app, such as OpenCamera are completely normal looking without the green bar in the photo. The preview window still shows up "blue" tinted, or inverted, but the photos are normal.
The built in camera app has an issue with photos taken that make it look like the colors have separated.
One step closer. Still in Alpha status. I have slow internet, so look for the download of the 0815 to finish uploading sometime tomorrow.
Any and all feedback is welcome.
EDIT: 0815-workingmedia build is now uploaded.
Okay guys, going on vacation for a week or so, out camping, so don't worry about no progress for a bit, I'll work on this when I get back.

A little distracted....
Still working on this. Sorry, I was out on vacation, and when I came back I realized all of my CompTIA certifications needed to be renewed (Net+, Linux+, etc...) So I'm studying hard for those exams next week.
Not to mention, as you can see in the pics, I got a little distracted.....

Yes. However, this H815 version is flash-able on H811. But here is a link to the H811 version:
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/3swd2bt113rzf/Nougat
However, the H815 version is in better condition, as it has working media, that alpha of the H811 can't play certain media types as in video playback, but that is fixed on the h815 release.
With that said, I want to remind you in particular that this is an alpha version. There are some cool features though, like light/dark mode (think the old slimroms trds) and what not. Today I am renewing my CompTIA certifications, so I have been studying for the past two weeks, and will get back to working on this after today.

Downloading 815 version for 815
I'll test it soon.
puedes pasar link de la rom omni-8.0? plis
Testing
Dark mode doesnt not work anymore.... That is a gingerbread lollipop feature. All. It really is color inversion grayscale
Substratum all themes and variants work....though they dont apply properly
Seems like the same issue as slim rom...menus end up being grayed out
Except on this rom all the variants are actually compataible and dont overlay properly
Seems like i cant win
Launcher3 is compatible for overlays though. Slimlauncher not
Cool rom though
BTW flashed 815 on my 811

SlimRoms is a custom android operating system. Our main goal is to offer users a slimmed down yet feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimTeam work together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and you can stop by our public Gerrit to submit patches of any type.
Slim7 is the project name for SlimRoms based on Android 7.1.x Nougat, which offers the following original features:
-Slim Navbar & Hardware key rebinding
--Single tap action, long press action, double tap action! - We’ve got you covered.
-Slim Actions & Chamber of secrets
-- Customise your device to the fullest - You’re a wizard!
-SlimRecents
--A faster alternative to stock recents - Your device, your choice.
-SlimLauncher
--An open source, feature filled launcher! - Make yourself at home
-Status bar customisations
--Clock and date? Battery? - More fun than you can shake a stick at.
Important links:
https://slimroms.org/ - Official website with anything SlimRoms related
Installation steps:
-You MUST unlock your device's bootloader in order to install Slim; I won't cover this area, however you can look it up here in the forums or ask me anything about it.
- Install the latest TWRP
- Download the latest build, gapps (optional). Place on internal storage or an sdcard.
- Reboot into recovery mode
- Wipe --> Advanced wipe --> data, cache, dalvik, and system. This is a clean flash, therefore you will lose your apps and their data; (sd and storage are not mandatory to wipe, so anything in there's going to be fine if you don't do it) remember to back those things up if you want to keep them.
- Install the build, the gapps and the root zip if you're going to root.
- Done! Reboot and enjoy. Remember the first boot always takes a few minutes.

Just installed Gravitybox and tested myself, looks like the same issues here. A reboot after applying some different settings didn't work, the only thing that seemed to work was brightness control under status bar. I'm compiling a personal build of Slim for my G4 Play and when it's done I'll try there too to see if it's an issue with the ROM sources itself or if it's phone-specific.

Gravitybox does say custom rom use is hit or miss so it's not surprising. I know slim is missing a few features so using gravitybox is desired, but still not surprised.

Like many similar modules GB works best on close AOSP clones. That said, it works fairly well on most ROMs excluding areas of direct overlap like navbar, quick settings and status bar tweaks. I ran Slim on a different device and don't recall significant issues with GB compatibility. But that was awhile ago; things may have changed.
Thank you for the ROM. So far working great!

I really appreciate it, thank you. I'm currently starting development of a kernel, but I plan on releasing a new update to Slim in a few days in case they update sources to the February security patch, and I want to include a messaging app and some kind of browser right out of the box, that way it's a bit more convenient when first setting it up. Someone also found a way to get LTE working for CDMA, only tested on Sprint currently, but we're going to be working further with that to try and incorporate at least part of the fix, I'm going to see if they can get a guide up on here for everyone for the rest of it

New update in OP. Nothing major, just a few upstream source changes. I personally like ROMs to be updated until the source stops updating, so expect a crDroid update soon too. Dot no longer is updating their Nougat branch (To my knowledge) so I don't think there will be an update for that, but I'll check regardless. In a few weeks I'll (hopefully) be releasing a custom Kernel I'm working on too if all goes as planned!

We are NOT responsible for anything that may happen to your device as a result of flashing ROMs, kernels, or installing any other mod. You are responsible for your own actions and bad decisions - so stop blaming others!
This is a user friendly thread. Please be respectful and courteous to other users. While feature requests will be considered, AquariOS tries to maintain a ROM that is smooth and stable, so adding every feature under the sun is not the plan here.
CURRENT BUILDS ARE BETA!1. Unless I tell you otherwise, you MUST always, absolutely, positively, most certainly wipe data AND system before flashing AquariOS...without a doubt!

Q & A
Read this before telling everyone something is broken!
1. Android Pay isn't working!! What do I do?
Go into Magisk settings and toggle on the "Hide Magisk" option. Then try again. Also, I've found once in a great while, even with this enabled, it will say it failed - if this happens, just try again...it'll work.
2. It's bootlooping after flashing ROM with Magisk - now what?
Don't flash Magisk until you have already booted into the new AquariOS build at least once. If that wasn't your issue, sometimes Substratum overlays can cause bootloops. If you have anything applied, flash the SubstratumRescue zip from your substratum directory
3. Why is the built-in System Theme section greyed-out (background, accent, & fonts)?
When the Substratum app is installed, this section will become inaccessible in order to prevent conflicts. You CANNOT use them both at once!
Reporting a bug?
See how to do so here:
BEFORE REPORTING A BUG:
1. Flash the SubstratumRescue zip and see if your issue is still there.
2. If you have flashed a custom kernel or ANY OTHER MODs, delete 'data/system/packages_cache' then wipe dalvik/cache, and flash AquariOS again WITHOUT any additional modifications/custom kernel.
3. Check to see if your issue persists.
*Do NOT even bother reporting an issue if you have dirty-flashed AquariOS over some other ROM! We WILL be able to tell!
Logs are crucial to resolving almost any kind of issue. You need to provide a log in order for the issue to be addressed. Please also include info on how to reproduce the reported bug if possible (maybe even take a screen recording for us ).
If you need a log extracting app, try out CatLog!
Either save your log locally and share it, or paste your log into an online code sharing tool like hastebin.com - then share the URL after hitting the SAVE icon.

After the ugly notch on p3xl, pretty sure the smaller P3 will get more love

dont root with Magisk.
Magisk root is killing the wifi.
edit
proof for those of you quoting me

I have been running this rom since release with magisk installed and I have no problems with the wifi not connecting. I have not experienced any major problems yet .
So I was having a problem with WiFi as well. I installed the latest Flash kernel, then Magisk 17.2, everything is working now.

Odd, the ONLY problem I've had with this rom is apn settings are not customizable. I have the settings on my phone for my provider. But they are unable to be edited. Even with third party apps.
And one minor reboot.
But the wifi doesn't have that issue for me.

Are you sure? I'm rooted with the newest magisk via the newest twrp and everything is golden.
Edit : Oops forgot to mention I'm using the latest elementalX kernel since first boot

yes I am sure it is for some users. here's proof

and you being on a different kernel might fix it for you.
for me wifi is connecting randomly and works until disconnected, then have to wait on magic moment to occur again. Ex/flash kernel + magisk 17.2
everything else works fine.
only thing needed is more quick setting tiles (sound, caffeine, nfc etc.) and double tab navbar for screen off option if possible
Hiho,

it has google cam already instaled. if not just sideload the apk or download from Play Store.
Thanks! This is a solid Beta. Flashing took a few tries and I had to flash the Factory Pie images first but I have everything functional now. Looking forward to seeing more options in the "Coral Reef" settings.
