Broken Motherboard - OnePlus 2 Accessories

Warranty is void. Oneplus is charging $200 for the repair. Anyone find an Ebay listing or selling a broken phone with a working motherboard? I can't find one for less than $100.

Well, where did you find the motherboard for $100 because I also have the same problem and don't have a problem in buying one for 100.
I can't seem to find anything on google or ebay though.

A thing you might want to consider is also who will replace the motherboard because if you have no experience on such repairs you have a good possibility of damaging your phone. If you're not experienced I would suggest you to sent it to OnePlus as buying the motherboard from eBay and having someone else repair it is risky and not cheap too...

Glass for our beloved Nexus

Woe has striked me and my Nexus' front glass is shattered. Does anyone know where I can purchase a new one? Maybe an upgraded one?
Unfortunately there is no "glass" replacement ... only "screen" replacement (amoled + glass which is not so cheap) - about $300 USD.
Dammit. Thank you for the reply. It's cheaper to buy a new phone then..
You may want to keep the phone for a while. Is not uncommon for people to destroy other parts of the phone while keeping the screen intact (like water damage or burned motherboard/storage). you may find broken phones sold as spare parts, in which case you may find a good screen at a reasonable price.
Anyway ... I'm sorry about your loss, to say so. The geek in me is crying for you .

Contact Samsung, though it won't be covered under warranty, they will apparently replace the screen for around $160 USD (according to a few posts on reddit).
Wouldn't hurt to chuck them an email and get a quote anyway

[Q] Where to buy a replacement digitizer

I just bought a replacement digitizer that didn't work and I rather not make that mistake twice so the question is: Where can I buy a working digitizer for reasonable money? If anyone got any experience with a good seller from ebay, ali-express I'd like to know. Thanks.

[HELP] New Display LCD purchase recommendations

Hello:
I wanted to know if any of you knows of a good seller on ebay or any other place thats not amazon where i can buy a new lcd screen replacement for my ze551ml, i was trying to purchase one and i notice some ads doesnt have the logo and i wanted one with the logo on it, or maybe its just that they erase the logo to be able to sell it?
Well if anyone knows of a good seller or can pass me the link for one please tell me.
Thanks in advance!
If it's any help, I've bought several LCDs and/or front glass for various phone over the years. Some sellers black out the brand names in pictures. (Even if the item ships with a logo.) A lot of replacement glass has arrived with a black sticker covering the "Samsung" (or whatever) logo. I can only assume this is for copyright protection, limiting sellers' liability for any push back against parts sold outside of "official" channels, and/or 3rd party replacements.
Just because it's missing from the pics doesn't mean the replacement won't have it. May be worth emailing the seller(s)?

as awoolf said. you must not worry about brand logo it is always written whether shown on image or not. here are few recommendations. from where ever you buy buy screen with frame. with frame it is super easy to replace and not much difference in price. without frame i have broken new screen replacement many time. second if you can wait always buy from china. especially from aliexpress. they send quality product with cheap price. last week i got one for ZE551ML for $23. it came with glasss screen guard and tools. it took 12 days to reach me from order date. use app to order screen. as a new user you may get $2 or $4 coupon. but keep in mind from wherever you order get it with frame. here is a link which i bought.

But wouldn't the sellers on Ebay and such be some sort of knockoffs ? Because I need an LCD, mine is a little bit cracked, but I dont wan't a chinese low quality copy. I would like genuine ASUS parts!
I just bought a replacement from this seller works flawlessly eBay
•No dead pixels
•Asus Logo on the front
•No digitizer issues
•2 day shipping
I love my zenfone 2 all over again after installing this new screen its actually a very easy fix as well.

buddy you need to understand from where ever you buy weather said to be original. it will be a copy. untill you buy directly from asus service center. all so called genuine are copy. asus issue original part only on a RMA to service center only.
as per quality is concerned either you buy from ebay, amazon or local sellers. it will ultimately come from china. i have purchased several LCD's from china had no issue and no one could differentiate it from original.

Ah, okay I understand. It's because I want the best for phone. Because it is always worthy to spend a few more on good quality parts than bad quality ones that break after a while

Had a replacement screen from China via eBay and bought the screen, digitizer and frame all in one for around $30 and no issues at all
Original one died, had the lines through it
So in essence why go original when the original stuffed up.
So happily went with one that offered good warranty and all worked out well
Had bought a second screen and frame also
So have a full frame spare and essentially glass as well
Sent from my ASUS_Z00AD
I also have the infamous tearing lines on mine, I ordered this screen with frame so no glueing or things like this
https://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/0.html?orderId=86319706999709&productId=32823303482
Should take 15 minutes to install.
EDIT: I realized I bought the same one as @sukhwant717
I received mine, looks like great quality, easy to install too ?

Buying Logic board from Aliexpress?

Hello,
I’m looking to buy a mobo from aliexpress. Does anyone have an experience buying logic/motherboards from aliexpress?
They’re are some sellers saying OEM motherboard taken from working phone.
Thoughts?
I run a mobile repair business.
No issues using them at all. Good parts typically

Replacement screen?

Like batteries, buying a good replacement screen for a G4 is hit and miss. Can you recommend a good quality replacement screen to buy?
Amazon...they're all the same been through 3 already

Don't use fixez they sell substandard screens the one i bought was not even gorillas glass even though they claim OEM.
Replacement screen would cost you almost as much ($25+) as many of the used LG G4 on eBay going for. I recently bought 2 of these phones for less than $40 each on eBay. Another option where you for sure get an oem original screen is buying a bootloop phone online very cheap and salvage the screen from there.
Would Ebay be the best place to buy a bootloop bricked G4? An advantage is I could just take the working board from my G4 and drop it into the replacement without having to completely disassemble.
