AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy MarshMallow. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it
Full wipe, flash rom, flash gapps, boot
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
To update to M, you must flash the M modem and perform a full wipe
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

Great news! Finally "came out" this great rom for our X-Play.
I tested throughout the weekend one home personal rom, was all ok, I made the script to port and was about to deliver a weekly unnoficial. Lost time? No, if a home rom presented excellent performance and stability in addition to all the features working I wonder now that will be official. Anyway I am awaiting the availability for download.

I know, first nightly will come soon

This looks, worth a flash. When it is available to download I will try. Hopefully the mods don't come along and shut down the thread before that happens

Will OTA updates be available for this rom?

It's worth to try.
Will try and make a video if possible.
Does anyone try it first?

First nightly is up everyone. And yes ota will work

Reserved for BUGS!!!
Awesome !!! Thank U So much Strix
Its a good ROM. Considering 5.1 to be in its early stages, this one is good.
Battery awesome when compared to other ROMs. (85% 1.5hrs SOT with WiFi and normal usage)
Lots of customisations. So those who want extra stuff than cm12 this one is for u.
Bugs:-
Lots of force closes here and there.
Keyboard force close
Settings force close when changing default SIM data.
As mentioned CM 12.1 bugs. Not much but its still there.
As usual LED settings.
Processor hardly enters deepsleep. Cause for battery to drain even when not using. (Flashed pa_gapps-modular-nano-5.1-20150315-signed.zip)
Also, there is some unknown indicator at top
Thanks Strix, but will wait for next release based on R2 of CM 12.1.

AICP is known as Android Ice Cold Project, which started on the HTC Desire HD. Since then many features and tweaks have been added to the ROM. Until Android Lollipop AICP has been AOKP based. Since AOKP stopped the development, we switched the base to CyanogenMod. This ROM is always based on the latest code of LineageOS 14.1. AICP is one of the most highly customizable roms that you can install on your mobile device. Some of our devices are being built as nightlys and some as weeklys. I loved this Rom on previous phones and now can finally enjoy it on my Galaxy S7
Great ROM I've been using during my s4.
Just hope fingerprint can be fixed soon
Great to see Aicp on the s7!!! This release is for a beta very stable. For the future I wish me a better Quality for the Camera. The rest is great and a dream of pure Android with the mods of aicp. Thank you for building a dream for the s7.

Playing music on speaker has audio issues I wish this was fixed RR wasn't as bad but was still there
Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
I'm assuming this works on the FD variant? I'm using AICP on my R7plusf and I can't wait to flash this onto my S7! Thank you!
EDIT: Finally flashed this and must say ROM is solid for a beta. The only issue I have is video recording. Tried 3 camera apps from the Play Store and nothing works. Can't wait for this to be fixed.
Looking forward to this project. Hopefully all the bugs & issues with Cynogenmod get fixed over time. I really miss the stock google experience with no bloatware. Thank you for bringing this to the Galaxy S7, I'll keep a close eye on how this will go.
nigthly build added thx to @jesec for add it to his build server
Where can I see the changelog for the latest version?
Is it possible to flash this without tripping Knox? I'm not rooted and I'm in Canadian Variant (G930W8)
Apparently some ROMs now have finger print reader working but I have been on RR and audio issue seems to be in a lot of ROMs I have used although audio has been better for me on build 1/10 RR than it was on 1/12 and AICP but I done a logcat before and looks like audio flinger is source of problem

Use dynamic gapps.
Its perfect apart from not beeing too battery friendly, not too good on camera either, but apart from that it is my choice of rom. Well done and many thanks geiti94.
Would anybody help me out with sd card write permissions? Is there anything I could do to fix it?

For camera search for HTC 10 camera port v1, a flashable zip. HTC camera app gives very good pictures compared to what you get with snap camera.
What's your issue with SD card. I can access it with solid file explorer without issues
I can access files on sd card just fine but only with file explorers, but not with all needed applocation (say with photo editors). Is there anything that could be done?

Yeah actually each app needs that special access rights. When you go to your photo editor and it's nougat compatible, it will say somewhere access to SD card needs to be set. Then it'll open kind of explorer where you just browse the SD card and say select. From this moment on the app will have access to sd

I second this. Used AICP for my CM based ROM, fulmics for LG stock, and BrokenOS for AOSP. Looking forward to getting this up and running
Looks good. Would be nice, if anyone could test it and write how it is. Especially in terms of battery life and friendliness.
Welcome kon.. And thanks for using uber.. Loved aicp on 3..looking froward to testing on 3t

Maybe I need my phone every day and don't want to mess up with it.
As I know, AICP for OP3T is unified with OP3. I read it on Gerrit.

Already have will re flash it
A few things I noticed, although I did not flash the kernel separately.
Editing build.prop to default DPI of 480 does not work. It appeared to make it less than 400, perhaps 360.
No matter my APN or network type settings, I cannot get LTE. Just H+.
No way to get a menu button function on a hard key (this is a general nougat issue, so probably not repairable).

AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Android Ice Cold Project that started on HTC Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until lollipop, ROM has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CyanogenMod when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.

ROMs should contain everything you need to enjoy Nougat. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, Google Apps, flash it, and go!
Make sure you have the latest TWRP recovery on your device.
Make a backup of your current ROM.
Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik.
Flash ROM.zip and Googleapps.zip.
Reboot system and setup!
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed!
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

Yea I have the verizon one. I was running Santons GPE lollipop rom up to this point. Its an old phone but its pretty awesome that nougat made it to it in one way or another.
Been driving this bad boy for a week now! Excellent work my friend ??!!! Seems quick and smooth. Some notifications maybe not showing up, but it could just be my service.
If I enter a custom carrier and put the AICP logo on the right and reboot logo pops up on both sides. Then go back to custom carrier and disable it goes away. Kinda cool.
Nice! Will give it a try.

You'll be hooked!
Su statusbar indicator not appearing and there isn't access to root storage in file manager. Let me know if you have any words of wisdom.
Yoga time! What?? What am I going to do with all these cats?
Here kitty kitty!
Got the safety net check to pass, just turned off debugging and unknown sources. Was able to turn back on after the first pass. Now passes every time.
SpiritF installed, starts tuner if I run BTS once. But still doesn't work, sound comes on & kicks back off, wipes out WiFi , have to reboot to get WiFi back. Installed it on my old AICP 10 & it seems to work fine but no reseption just fuzz. No biggie though, that's what iHeartRadio is for , lol.

He's going to upload a new VZW build. Give it a shot, do a full wipe before install.
Looking forward to an update. Would also like to share been using this ROM it's great, Android 7 for an aging phone.
I have had battery issues
battery drains fast at times. In most cases it seems a process called netd starts to have high cpu utilization (90% or higher as reported by top during an adb shell).
battery stats says can't display battery stats or something similar majority of the time.
battery life remaining percentage is not accurate, at 30% it shuts off, etc, I tried some of the procedures found on line to re-calibrate battery charge stats but did not seem to change things.
Thanks for an awesome ROM.
