i have g8 dual dim 5.1.1 is any body have any problem playing gameloft likr gt racing 2 or asphalt 8 and the game crash?
Games usually run smoothly even with several apps open...
Check if you don´t have any app taking over your RAM while playing.
Or the crashes might have to do with the game it self.

So, I have finally gotten my Archos 101 G9 16Gb tablet. I have tried to install some games onto it (GTA3, NFS Hot pursuit etc) but pretty much all don't work! I don't really have much experience of Android as I hail from Windows Phone (where things just seem to work )
So if everyone could please post up which games work, that would be very helpful, not only to me but other users!
Android isn't renowed for a large variety of highly graphical games, but things are slowly improving!

I don't mean to insult your intelligence. But are you sure the slow download speeds are isolated to play? Can you browse the web and stream videos without issue?
Also, is there a difference in performance while data or wifi?
Hi people, I've been trying to play Real Racing 3 in my cellphone but I can't. First the game is running with horrible graphics. Second When I try to play out of nowhere the screen goes black, with only the sound. Just pulling the battery for the phone back.
Anyone have any solutions?

Your graphic is on low?
Now, my game is working fine, but the graphics are horrible. I tried change de archives. If I put highres the game causes reboot in my phone. Medium quality I don't have shadow.
Somebody has any solution?
Hey, does anyone know an mod for opening apps in windows 8 / 8.1 except of the Display-DownScaling-Support mod?
Or can someone help me to find out why my netbook is always crashing with this mod? Even when I plug in an external screen which is connected to my desktop win 8 PC normally , the apps (or sometimes the hole system) are crashing.

The apps crashing is reasonable, they genuinely don't support your screen. The whole system shouldn't crash though unless you inadvertently altered something you shouldn't have in the registry. You shouldn't need that hack to use an external monitor though, you should be able to set the system to only output on the external and at its native resolution no problem.
I'm guessing your using an old windows 7 netbook upgraded to windows 8, windows 8 just wasn't meant to run with those screens.
If you look at the windows 8 netbooks out now they have higher resolutions
yes i know, but even without this mod, and only an external screen, when i open an app it shows the splash screen and then the screen turns black and then sometimes the system just reboots(without blue screen) or it shows me home-screen again.

My fire TV is not rooted - is there any combination of apps which will allow me to play music hosted on my NAS, using an android device as a remote, and the fire-TV as (in this sense) a headless renderer?
You should check out Kodi (former XBMC). No root needed.
