This is a unofficial Bliss 6.2 ROM for the Exynos3470 based Samsung Galaxy S5 mini (G800F/G800M/G800Y) by
hennymcc and CTXz.
DO NOT USE IT FOR G800H OR YOU WILL BRICK YOUR DEVICE
Although G800F and G800H share the same name they are not related in terms of hardware due to the different SoCs used (Exynos vs. Snapdragon).
Hence please do not ask for support or ROMs for the G800H.

Disclaimer:
You flash this image at your own responsibility. I am not responsible for any damage that might be caused by flashing this image (bricked device, lost data, ...)
Flashing this kernel image will trigger the KNOX counter, so your warranty will be void.
Applications that use KNOX (e.g. "Private Mode") might not work anymore when returning to the stock ROM, as the device is regarded as compromised. Do not flash this ROM if you need those applications.
The image is only for Exynos3470 based S5 Mini variants SM-G800F/M/Y.
It might be instable, crash your device, drain your battery, or even might damage your smartphone (e.g. if an USB-OTG device drains too much power)
Some users reported that their touch-screen stopped working permanently after some weeks of usage. For some user's (two at the moment including me) NFC stopped working permanently. Probably this issues are not related to this ROM as also many stock user's complain about hardware issues (random reboots, black screens, unresponsive touchscreen) but you have been warned.
Backup your data before flashing and check if the original firmware is present (e.g. at SamMobile)
Click to collapse
Before you start:
Backup your data, like call history, contacts, sms, WhatsApp messages, favourite app settings that are on internal and external sd (by using Titanium Backup or other apps available on PlayStore). At least all internal data will be lost in any case. If you have bad luck you might also loose data from your external sd card.
Download:
Odin3-v3.07 (it is contained in CF-Auto-Root)
TWRP 3.0.0 recovery image [16/02/2016] (AndroidFileHost Mirror)
Bliss 6.2 ROM for G800F/M/Y (Android File Host)
Google Apps (contains Google Play, ...) :
Open GApps Project, Platform:ARM, Android:6.0, Variant: whatever you prefer (e.g. "mini" or "nano")
Install recovery:
Reboot your device into Odin mode: turn off your device, then press Volume-Down + Home + Power button at the same time and release them.
Confirm the following warning message with the Volume-Up button.
Connect your device to your PC via USB
Make sure the device driver's are installed on your PC
Start Odin
In Odin select PDA and select the recovery image (recovery.tar.md5)
Check that only "Auto Reboot" and "F. Reset Time" is set
Click on "Start": the kernel image should be flashed now and the device should reboot afterwards. By flashing the recovery, your warranty will be void.
After the recovery flashing process was successful, power of your device. If not restart into Download mode and flash again or flash the stock rom.
Before you flash:
You need the latest TWRP recovery (see above). Otherwise TWRP might not be able to flash the ROM. This is because TWRP checks now if the device is "supported".
Wipe the device to avoid problems with remaining files from the old installation (see instructions below). This also applies if you already installed an older version of Bliss or any other CM based ROM
Flash Bliss:
Reboot into recovery mode (Press Volume-Up + Home + Power button)
If you come from a stock ROM, this is your opportunity to make a Backup of your phone(Backup, then select Boot, System, Data, then swipe to backup). Note that the recovery might fail to restore the backup when you want to go back to the stock ROM (for me it got stuck after a restore during boot. But the backup was made with a different version of TWRP, so it might work in general) - simply do not expect too much of it at the moment.
If you haven't copied the installation files yet, you can now copy the GApps and CyanogenMod zip to your internal sd or external sd (be careful not to put the files into the data directory of the internal sd card as this will be deleted in the next step). Be sure that MTP is enabled (inside Mounts, click on Enable MTP), then, from your pc, copy the files. If MTP does not work from recovery, try it directly from Android or remove the external sd card from the phone and put it into your PC.
Wipe Dalvik Cache, Cache, System and Data (inside Wipe -> Advanced Wipe). Do not report problems if you did not wipe those partitions as the problems are most probably related to this!
Install the Bliss 6.2 ROM zip-package
Install the GApps zip-package
How to root:
No SuperSu is needed as CyanogenMod already comes with integrated root support. Root access is disabled by default.
You normally do not need root access. If you want to activate root access for apps, do the following:
Open the Settings menu, select "About Phone"
Tap on the "Build number" entry seven times. You should be notified, that the developer settings are now active.
Open the Settings menu, select "Developer options". Enable root access by selecting "Apps" in the "Root-Access" setting.
In case you want to go back to the stock ROM:
lf you do not have the latest ROM for the G800F you can download it from SamMobile
Reboot your phone into Odin mode
Open Odin on your PC and connect your smartphone with your PC via USB
If you have a zip-file unzip it so that you have a .tar.md5 file
In Odin click on the PDA button and select the .tar.md5 file. Then press "Start".
Normally the stock rom fails to boot as the data from Bliss is still on the data partition. So after flashing the stock rom, reboot into recovery mode (it looks a bit different now). First wipe the data partition, then wipe the cache.
Reboot

Developers welcome
At the moment the G800F/M/Y specific port of this ROM is only done by two persons (CTXz and hennymcc). Although Unjustified Dev also works on this ROM he does not own an Galaxy S5 Mini but a Galaxy Light which has a similar base but is different when it comes to camera, nfc and other components (maybe even slightly when it comes to audio and radio).
Help from other developers is always welcome. See the bug/feature section and this thread to see what is missing. Just give some short info (here in this thread or PM) that you want to work on some issue or feature so that work can be synchronized. Maybe there are also other devs that want to work with you on the same issue.
Knowledge in how the kernel works and good programming skills in C, C++ and Java would be nice but not necessary for all problems. At least you should be able to build the ROM and test your changes yourself but you do not need experience in porting ROMs.
Thanks to Psyafter for some patches and working on the G800F.
Thanks to Unjustified Dev from Team Regular for the initial work to get the G800F ready with CM.

Great waiting for download links..
Downloading.
Guys do read the flashing instructions first..
Nice to see this ROM working with 5.1 base on our device
I updated to the latest bootloader.
I updated to the latest recovery.
Deleted dalvik cache, cache, data and system.
Flashed the ROM.
Tried to flash the GApps 5.1 Minimal Edition.
"System UI has stopped" error is repeating itself in the setup menu.
Note: I reflashed everything and tried, too, without the GApps and it outputs the same error.

Nevermind, I made it work. My SIM card was faulty. It was in slot 2 but not connected properly. Will give impressions about ROM in a few days.
Read the flashing instruction properly and flash.
Secondly take out your sim from sim slot 1 and use it on sim slot 2 and let the sim slot 1 be empty. You will not get any fc.
A really AWESOME rom. Everything working for me, very fast and stable. I flashed Spirit Kernel too, and with this combination the rom became perfect to me. No lags, no erros. Using XT1069 with TV mobile. Fastest Rom I've ever used.
Nice Work!
Running perfectly! Thanks for your work! :good:

Information for Reliance Jio Users on how to activate VoLTE. Follow instructions to the T. Thank you ==vj== for the instructions.
Make sure you are on the latest baseband M8952_70009.08.03.48R.
Jio SIM should be in slot1.
Complete the setup wizard normally after flashing ROM & GAPPS ( flash arm-6-pico if using opengapps ).
On CM and Vanir, APN is set to jionet by default. If its not, goto Settings->SIM Cards->SIM1 Settings->Access Point Names and change as follows. Name=jionet, APN=jionet, APN Type=default, APN Protocol=IPv4/IPv6. Click here for screenshots.
Goto "SIM CARD" settings and select calling sim as JIO. This can also be done during setup.
Select sim1 settings (JIO) & toggle enhanced LTE option enabled. This is required to activate the volte option in dialer. If enhanced VoLTE option doesn't show up, goto APN settings and select Bearer as LTE alone. Then manually select Jio4g from mobile networks. That should enable enhanced LTE option for sure.

OrionOS is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of the world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh? [emoji14] ). We started this project for Falcon (Moto G), to make a stable Rom, which would include Bitsyko layers and important customization. The Rom is built with Uber toolchain which delivers awesome smoothness and includes a custom kernel built from ground-up to ensure good performance [WIP]. Needless to say, this project is a product of our hobbies and the love we bore for Android.

It looks nice, but all very dark... Maybe I'm going to try it later. Right now I'm on stock Nougat (shame on me!), somehow I regret that... But I'm a little bit reluctant to downgrade, because of the messages I had from the XDA users of my previous device (who actually hard bricked their device by Installing an official OTA after a downgrade).
Let's see how long I can keep up, using a stock rom...

Hi @Silesh.Nair
Edit: I deleted supersu before flashing and flashed phh superuser instead and it worked.
Can you recommend using the phh superuser instead of superSU, and is there an easy way to make the change before even flashing the rom?
So far the best ROM I've seen is the Beanstalk Athene and I'm loving the performance, fluidity and just general all-round brilliance.
How does this compare?
@Silesh.Nair Brilliant rom fantastic loving it my daily driver for sure smooth and quick thanks bro?
extremely fast, awesome rom
Can anyone post the perfomane and battery life of this rom.
Is volte working in this rom ??
This ROM is effing incredible. The battery life is many times better than stock, it's fast and cuz SUBSTRATUM.

Some important information before you flash.
If you are on N soak ROM, you need to flash back M stock rom before you flash OrionOS. This is needed to fix fingerprint. If you don't do this, fp will not work.

Flashed this one just now. Absolutely fabulous work Sir! ROM's clean, smooth and fluid! Battery life seems to be great too. No, I am not moving to Moto's N. You guys deserve the support for your fabulous work. This is way cooler anyways!
Best of luck for CM14 and other N-based ROMs for the Athene! This is turning out to be a good dev device!

Rom is great... Only issue is... I can make phone calls but when someone calls me, I answer and the call drops right away, is there a certain kernel I need?

pretty good rom. few bugs though. the statusbar clock shows on the lockscreen - ambient display and is off as in to far to the top. also the data signal seems to go in and out quite a bit. i assume its an ril bug as ive encountered before with cm based roms.
Awesome rom ..

OK but the unroot ZIP is working you must flash the unroot and then flash supersu and reboot but when you only flash the unroot ZIP and reboot then you have this error but i will intigrate suspersu in the next update
Any possibility of this ROM having official support? She's a great ROM, congratulations to the job.

The substratum themes are not working, does this have anything to do with ROM? There is always an error in trying to apply the theme colors.

@Kran maybe you should go through this issue of twrp being removed on flashing this ROM. Same issue with the DU ROM.

Introduction:
What is AOKP ?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.

FAQ:
1.) What to do if My Phone got bootloop or not booting ??
You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:
3.) What to do if my SafetyNet is not passed ??
Update Magisk to latest beta version, tick Magisk Hide and enable usb debugging...

Camera recording on Snapchat and instagram doesn't work, it records and when you want to watch it its all grey pixels, it doesn't work on all of your roms, thats the only problem that I found
trying to use the fingerprint crashes the settings app
yeah, some actions crash the settings app(s)
mostly running in several tries then
what is more important:
there is no option to choose carrier internet nor choice between 2g 3g LTE i settings(
at least i did not find any(
get me logs guys... so i see if this issue is P10 lite only or with all devices...

log from what? no network tab?
there are no ringtones and notification tones in that ROM and bluetooth for mi band does not connect/find devices^^
UPDATE after some hrs:
network/2G/3G/4G choice appears after reboot
smooth behaivour, good battery life as far as i can see from now out of the box
no idea about the bluetooth thing, no connection to mi band what worked on stock ROM with my device
and some notification/ringtones should be put on the ROM, else they have to be gotten per file explorer from another device/source into folder here on that ROM
thx so far for the work, updating experience in some days

riceDroid for Realme X [RMX1901]
What is riceDroid?
* Ricedroid is an operating system based on lineage/crdroid, that aims to provide necessary "ricing" for android while being fast and stable.
Terminology
* The rice in the project name can be referred to "rice" (food) itself, but in a sense it is indeed the term "ricing" in linux.

Thank you very much. Great ROM. It's my first experience with Android 13.
It's very cool. Personalization settings has many customization posibilities.
I just installed this ROM and unbrick my RMX1901 CN. I will write instruction how to unbrick and install this ROM.
I found some issues:
1. When the SIM pin code is enabled sometimes it freezes on boot. There is a black screen with a blinking little short white line bottom. When I click the power button then, the screen is turned off and the white line disappears. Also if long click a power button then the power menu appears. This problem is not persistent but if it's occurred then reboot does not fix it.
When a problem occurs I removed the SIM card and turned on the phone. Then insert a SIM card when the phone is completely turned on. It's working this way without any problems.
FYI I set up a password option for the lock.
2. There are duplicated battery icon options in the Personalization menu.
3. Pocket mode seems doesn't to work. When I enabled it from the Personalization menu, then the screen is always turned off and in pocket mode. I installed the Nikigapps and followed Nikigapps addon followed the guide above.
4. Sometimes MPM USB copy freezes when copying too many files. I tried it on MacOS (Android File Transfer app) and Windows 11. Are there any limit settings? I didn't turn on a battery-saving mode etc.
5. Call recorder button on the screenshot doesn't appear. But it's not a big problem. Because I installed the Talker ACR app from the Google play store and using Google dialer.
6. Smart charging also doesn't work.

1) Can you provide logs for this one?
2) One is for quick settings, one is for statusbar.
3) looks like our underdisplay proximity sensor is the culprit, will check into it.
4) Don't know about this
5) Call recording should work with RiceDroid dialer
6) Will be fixed in next update

Just type adb logcat > logcat.txt and reproduce the problem, do ctrl+c to stop the command and send the logcat.txt file. For more info you can refer this.

Dirty flash works over previous Ricedroid build, but if you face any issues after dirty flashing you have to clean flash later. And never forget to take a backup of your data in case something goes wrong.
Dirty Flashing Process:
Just flash the rom and reboot, no need to wipe anything.
This ROM is just amazing. I'm getting battery life better than the stock ROM. There are no major bugs and everything works just fine.
There's just one thing I wanted to say that, "Verify it's you" Bottom-Sheet that appears for figerprint authentication for applications like GooglePay, What'sApp, etc. the position of fingerprint scanner and icon does not coincide.
By the way, Great work!

Hello, I just flashed this ROM, everything is fine but when I tried to login google service at the "Enter your mail account" part it crashed and return to home screen. I had tried clear cache of google service but it didn't work. Do you know any possible solution about this? Thanks.
Edit: I followed every flashing steps from above.

Did you format successfully, the one where you have to type yes? It normally fails in latest recovery, you have to reboot to recovery again directly from recovery itself and format.

No update schedule, depends on whenever I'm free. As for differences there's nothing much except RiceDroid have some more features.

Normally it doesn't work on aod. But if you turn on Settings>Realme settings>Ambient display gestures>pick up, fingerprint will work on aod whenever you pick up the phone or on slight movement.
I have two problems:
1. Keyboard change and hide buttons is too small and very difficult to touch.
2. SIM with pin code seems some bugs. Sometimes it takes a long time to detect a Sim cards.
