Ok, first bug i've found myself. New fingerprint settings are missing for now. Until i've found a way to decompile Settings.apk i can not change it. Ideas how Huawei decompile security works?

Let me know if find that out. I've got a fix in the works for notifications but need to figure out how exactly to decompile it. I've already tested the fix and its working but it breaks the ui because it wasn't properly done.
BTW, by deodexing the ROM you were able to add KTools?

If you deodex the ROM xposed Framework works and well, kangvip, if you use some more framework files and systemui from the KangVip ROM, too. If you find a way to decompile the Huawei files we could take a closer look how it works. For now that is the only way to make it work.

Adding HwCallRecorder from a ROM where it is included should make it work. It's in the system/app folder. Maybe could try that and give feadback.

There's a modified xposed out there for an odexed ROM as for kang I replaced those files last week, prevents the ROM from booting.
Should I flash the two roms or only the kang or the b170 deox, because I don't find this very clear?

I don't know which files you've replaced. I've tested a bunch of different combos to find the right one. If you want, just use this as base for your ROM and if new OTAs are out we maybe could work together.

The rom works great, but I have a little problem with titanium backup, I don't succeed to install my backup.

I've restored all my apps, around 300, with tb without any problems from external sd.
What is the problem? Be a little more specific please.

Try to skip the app show on your screenshot or istall it from playstore during titanium restore is running. This step you're repeat with any app it stops. After playstore installed this app titanium proceeds. I've seen titanium behave like this on many devices and different ROMs, but not on Mate 8 with this or any other ROM i've flashed. Why it behaves sometimes like this you've to ask titanium dev guys

Are your backups on internal or external sd? If on external sd, do you've pointed tb your backup folder using document provider? That's the way how it should be done on marshmallow.

Working smooth here for the, great work buddy.
For my backups, l have installed manually the missing apps, but I have a biggest problem ; I can't update Google maps and the app is missing !
I have reflashed the ROM after making a factory data , and I have the same problem again.
How can I fix this ?

Hi everyone
Here´s my first app for our SGS3
This applications let you flash any kind o file by recovery without enter on recovery manually
You can flash any zip and any kernel or modem on tar, tar.md5 boot.img or modem.bin
Also you can do Wipes
On menu options there is Config option, this option let you set the default directory for the applications file browsers
The best i think is that you can create a "Action list" on "Crear Lista de acciones" option
There you can do for example do 3 wipes, then flash a rom next a kernel then gapps and the last one the modem
While selection the action and if you select Flashear archivo you must click on Añadir Lista to add the action to the list action
You can remove an action just clicking on the item o the yellow listview
When finish all the actions that we want you have to click on Guardar Lista and then the Aceptar button
Then the phone reboots automatically on recovery a execute all the commands
I use it for example for miui.
First i do the 3 wipes, then flash the rom, then the OTA, then the kernel, then gapps, then 4way reboot, and last one Stock apps
When it finish whene the phone start everything is flashed and i dont need to enter on recovery for every action individually

Try to unistall reinstall might do the trick otherwise you have to wait for the dev

Oh, i forgot.... you have to install busybox....sorry...on version 1.4.4 i try to control if you have it installed or not.

Im working on nandroid backup & restore right now....
I just bought the app even though I am using a US variant of sgs3. It seems to work however I can set mnt/sdcard/ as default location. When I set it to that and I try and navigate to it nothing happens. But if I navigate to a sub folder in sdcard for instance download it shows everything that is in that folder. It's strange that it won't let me navigate to /sdcard but it will navigate to a sub folder of sdcard. Any ideas? This app has so much potential! You should provide support for us sgs3 I don't think there would be many differences and if you need a tester I would definitely help with that.

Additional Notes & FAQ:
1. In case if you have Superuser binary outdated, go to SuperSU and update the binary through recovery
2. Always it's recommended to do a full wipe and clean install if the update is from a different base.
3. You have a problem with dirty flash? Try to do a full wipe, then do a clean install see if you have the same problem.
4. LTE is not working or no settings. Check this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50347561&postcount=165
5. Don't flash any other MOD until you complete the first boot
6. Does it work on other variants?? - No it doesn't work out of the box. But you can use with most variants, if you flash the kernel belongs to your variant right after you flash the ROM, but again it's not officially tested.

I can add if you want. But there is no visual changes. It's just stock based but optimized in the back-end

that's strange .. But yeah if it's not detecting then install it from Playstore.
Install it.
Just FYI I didn't create this ROM to share it at first. I customized it for my need. I then I though why not share it.
Am liking this so far , only one niggle is that it upgrades in every boot as if dalvik cache is clearing every time .

Yes I've seen the upgrading on flex roms but this counts through about 60 apps every boot.

Really? For me its just "android is upgrading..." for like 2-3 seconds and then my homescreen is up. But its just on flex roms (and on stock sometimes)
I'll try again once I have time. Gone back to stock rom 1.6 for the moment.

Try a Full wipe. Then reboot without applying any mod and see if you have the same problem.

In the weekend I will restore stock camera because current doesn't work well and release v2, then I will try to do something with 5.1.1 aosp maybe if i replace camera libs with cm12.1 ones maybe it starts working. If camera starts working properly then I will release version based on 5.1.1

We are havnt camera libs for 5.1 mtk aosp. its impossible now. only 5.02
I am update my rom. many fixes. Look at my original post on 4pda.
now I cannot make thread, may be later.

Warning! Not for directl update from B172, B180 etc. You've to flash B3xx/B320 stock ROM first! L29 users return to B1xx stock and flash B320 international with dload method first, please! AL10 users return to B1xx stock ROM and update to B321! If it's not clear how to do that, please stop here and study some guides in general section before you continue!
Encryption enabled in new build, no data will be lost during encryption process on first boot. Anyway i recommend a backup before updating! Flash TWRP with encryption support after update to B350! Have fun guys! If encrypting during first boot is not working for you, use dload method to encrypt with a B3xx stock ROM that suits for your device. If you don't know what i'm talking about here please flash another ROM.

-After you install Xposed, go into Xposed installer if you're getting Framework not active and check "disabled resource hooks" then restart. Xposed will be active.
-To help prevent apps from not showing notifications move them from data/app to system/app and set the proper permissions. (rwxr-xr-x for folders and rw-r--r-- for apk's)
-To remove any Chinese writing on the date in the statusbar go to Settings-K-Settings-Notification Settings and disable status bar lunar
-To remove any Chinese writing on the lockscreen go to Settings-K-Settings-Lockscreen and desktop settings and disable Lunar calendar & Desktop weather lunar.
-To add additional Google accounts go to Settings-->Advanced Settings-->Backup & Reset-->Make sure Back up my data is on. Then tap Backup Account and hit add account.
-If you need help, please give a little more information than saying something won't work. State your model as well as the system you were on and what you tried to solve your problem.
-When using the DPI changer in K-Settings do not use the stock Huawei App Layout option to change DPI. They don't play nicely together.
-There is little difference between the Chinese and International roms as the Chinese versions of custom roms have google apps already installed.

I'll give a try. Have you noticed any improvement of camera performance with last stock versions (chinese or international)? Do you think that they're going to regularly update the rom with new bases?

Tomorrow I will be in NYC for the day. I'll be testing the camera then. So far everything seems snappy and lag free. It's seems faster than stock. The camera is fast and lag free. I can't speak for the image quality until I get home tomorrow night but it should perform as good as or the same as stock B156.

The rom is based on Chinese stock B156. I didn't see any difference in the camera when I was on B163.

-in Android 7 we have a new art runtime that allows to install and open apps faster. Its nice , but never wipe dalvik/art in recovery . That will force close all data/apps .

no. its just an advanced power menu.
yes nova launcher. i only use nova launcher for all my roms , because for me it is the best launcher around....
its up to you. flash the rom to see all tweaks/mods.

why not modify and add a more advanced menu to the original power menu? it takes longer, but its better since then its themeable

Mate look at the package name and all the smali files. Differ them.. changed over 800files .
Btw he has credits , just scroll down to the end of first page
