Hello,
My girlfriend just bought a new LG4 phone. She often need to write letter such as é, è, à, etc (french op). However, when she is sending me those letters, I am receiving a ? instead. I'm owning an Iphone 6 but we tried it on other devices and still, we got the same problem. She tried to change her keyboard for the google one, still the same problem.
Any advices?

There are many other keyboards on the play store you can use.
I didn't have any problems with the keyboard do far and i am writing in four different languages.

I installed the diamond keyboard and it screwed up my autocomplete for the To field of a sms. Checked all the settings and everything and nothing, removed it and all is fine. I still like the HTC phone pad better.

It's almost the exact opposite for me. When I use the "To:" field in a new SMS, I just type the first couple of letters of the persons name into the field and hit enter, and the keyboard offers up the names that match that in the auto-complete field. Working fantastic on my Hermes.
So who actually has this working on the hermes?
I would like to have a keyboard that thumb friendly..

It works fine on my Hermes, but scratch what I said above. It has totally disabled contact auto-complete from the hardware keyboard. In addition, I've tried to uninstall it three times and it just hangs at the screen where it's doing the uninstallation, with the spinning Windows thing, forever until I soft reset the phone. I'm thinking I may have to do a hard reset to get this thing off my phone.
Has anyone had trouble uninstalling this from their phone?
I have it working- I like it a lot actually. I used to like the old HTC phone pad, and this is like that but a little more polished. The word prediction works well.
Don't know If i'm going to stick with it- want to see how it eats memory, etc.
I had it working too, I like it except that auto complete bs. It took awhile, but it did uninstall. Here is the htc phone pad for anyone that needs it.
Okay, you're right, it did uninstall. I probably could have taken a nap in the time it took to do it, but it finally did. I'm back to the old trusty phone pad as well.

Tried to uninstall, took ages, and never uninstalled after all...
The keyboard is still there, working fine. But the option to uninstall it is now gone. I would really like to get rid of it, so if there are any one who's got any bright ideas I'm open to suggestions... (I did soft-reset the device after the "uninstall")
Can't get alphabets from the keyboard. Just the digits and no way to get it. If any one knows about the settings it requires the please update. I have uninstalled it successfully.
hey , i cant read my sms and mails that i receive .... wen i tap on the sms it wont open ... it only shows a white empty screen same thing happens for the mails .... any solution is appreciated
Are you using standard sms/email or do you have an app installed?
When dod this first happen? Have you recently added any apps, software of flashed a new rom?
Any more info would enable us to help you more efficiently
yes i'm using the standard version , and actually this happened i think after installing the arabic support app. but im not sure .... and i also bought days ago a garmin gps software in which i had 2 replace my original micro sd with a new1 that contain the maps ( don't know if this has something 2 do with the prob.)

Unusal problem with no direct solution unfortunately. Have you tried removing arabic app and soft resetting device. Garmin shouldn't affect device in thisa manner. An extreme measure would be to try a hard reset
1 more thing i installed lately the tweak app. and its not working coz it still sleeps while talking on the phone after been disabled.... and many other features also didnt work.... so could this be the main problem ??

There are no notification for emails, paypal, ebay, games, weather .... so for nothing, which is so annoying because my 4 years old ZTE has got it, my one year old LG G PRO 2 got them. I checked it and everything is in the same set up so definitely should work.
Has anybody experienced the same? If yes please tell me the solution.
Apart from that the phone would be great, but with this issue it it nearly useless for those who needs email alerts.
If I put a new rom CM12 or any other one, would it solve the problem. Anyway is it a hardware or software issue, I think it is software that is why I think a new rom solve it.

Make sure those apps get allowed in auto-start manager.
I know I must be in a minority, but I love Touchpal, have used it for years. I have one problem however, which never used to happen with the non OEM versions I used to have. Every time I go to internet, it switches to non predictive, anyone found out how to stop it switching to non predictive each time, I use to T+ compact keyboard by the way.
Anyone having same problem? Or does no one use it?
Is there any round way to make Leeco account somehow if you are not from USA, CHINA, India and 3 or 4 other countries Leeco would accept ?
If something crashes, I can't even send a feedback or anything.

Maybe you could try that opera free vpn app, just turn it on temporarily when sending the reports
