Gapps - if you get "Unfortunaly, Setup Wizard has stopped" on first cm load. This is common problem.
Try find older version: 22 March or early (my link). Or you can delete Start Setup app: go back to twrp - Mount -> system, then Advanced -> File Manager -> system\priv-app\SetupWizard - select current folder and delete. Then reboot in system.

Camera issues when using the default camera app, or is it a hardware issue? I use the camera fairly often.

@Valera1978 Awesome work my friend! Congrats for one more wonderful work! You rock!

Thanks, I'm gonna try it.

That's fantastic news @Valera1978 ! Was thinking of trading this machine in because lack of development. But in the same time I love it. It's a brilliant device and it's a pity so few people has found that out. So THANKS A MILLION Valera!

Are you going to work more on it? Because you have it for limited time, will be there someone else to continue?

The p900 will be available till end of the weekend, may be the next week also.
My plan simple - push another developers to continue work with cm13. In this limited time I want:
- make stable cm13 - building right now, hope today evening will be the first results
- clean-up my device/kernel/vendor (almost done)
- try fix camera - look like this is big issue for all exynos cm13 devices, but need at least try fix
And then I really hope thompatry will continue work with cm13.
And hope my sources will help make cm for related note pro 12.1 p901 and tab pro t900/t520. At least t900/t520 use the same kernel and very similar hardware.

Buggy Setup Wizard
How can I skip the buggy Wizard? It keeps popping up error messages.

My tablet was always diferent. I wasnt able to update to official lollipop (stuck on boot animation or every proces crashed) Cm12 is laging. And now, the android 6.0.1 is stack at boot screan animation. I also bricked it with official lollipop (from cm11 to official lollipop) and unbricked it with official kitkat. I really dont understand it. I need to do more with my little android development skills (i have successfully ported cm11 to friends phone, but only thanks it have little difrences from the official cm11 for the supported device) i dont know if u understand it but it doesnt matter

No way!! I wasn't expecting this.
I don't like posting this kind of useless message but I had to write a big THANK YOU. The thank you button doesn't cover how grateful I am for bringing a 6.0 ROM to our big guy.
Does the s-pen work? I can't flash it right now.

I had the same problem. Couldn't get past it. So I did a new clean install and this time without Gapps. The rom runs fantastic. Went to apk mirror and downloaded the latest GMS and installed it. Then I went to settings to add my G account. And couldn't go thru with it cause GMS keeps crashing. Don't know why. Gonna uninstall it now and install an older GMS

Edit: Tried an older variant of GMS and no success. Well just have to wait. Meantime its awesome running MM on what I thought was a dead device.

Thank you for this Valeria. Really appreciate you doing this. I've encountered most of the problems previously mentioned. Installed with Gapps. No joy. Did another install without. Running OK. One thing nobody else has mentioned is I can't see my external sdcard. Tried 3 different ones. 32, 15 and 4 GB. No luck with any. As for ROM. Nice. Fast. Smooth. Cheers

Cm 13.0 build is ready. Please see first post how to solve gapps problem. Tomorrow I'll check what is wrong with gapps. And then I'll start fix small problems. Still a lot of work, but now with working cm.

Wanted to first say I'm extremely grateful for your work; I've been keeping an eye on the CM threads here for weeks because this upgrade could make the P900 work like a new tablet.
I rely on it daily for college, so I'm kind of hesitant to flash just yet. But for those of you who try this ROM, I'd be very interested to know:
1) S-Pen -- For a separate S-Pen (the one with a separate eraser in addition side button), do the extra buttons work natively in LectureNotes or similar apps or does something else (e..g, "CM S Pen Add-on") need to be installed?
2) Encryption -- Does encryption/decryption work with TWRP 3.0.0.0 (or an earlier version)? Haven't had much luck getting TWRP to decrypt 5.0.2 stock, but as long as the OS can decrypt -- and I've been able to make backups -- I haven't worried about it.
3) Multi-Window -- In CM13, how adjustable are the windows? Can you achieve a setup where 2/3 of the screen is for one app while another app gets 1/3?
4) Camera -- Is it just the stock camera app that's having trouble? Would another app (e.g., Open Camera) work?
5) Microphone -- Is the mic working okay (e.g., for an app like LectureRecordings)?
6) Screenshots -- Is there a good solution for editing screenshots? Something that supports S-Pen? Being able to quickly crop and import things into LectureNotes is very useful. Noticed a new app called "Screen'it" in the store that might eventually be a good stock replacement, but I'd like to know if anybody's got a better solution.

Thanks so much for this! Just installed CM 13.0 build. Tried stock gapps 6.0 it failed. BUT....
Here is one *provisional* solution (you'll do better I'm sure) for the gapps setup wizard problem.
*Install the March 22 pico version.*
Of course, factory wipe.
Then follow the old school method and do both of these in ONE twrp session:
Flash CM 13.0 Marshmallow
Flash gapps 3/22 Pico
Wipe dalvik
Reboot
And you should be good to go!
This came up with another (older) tablet of mine, the Asus TF700t, which also returned the error when I first loaded a custom MM 6.01 version. That developer (Timduru) suggested using the March 22 Pico version of the gapps and it worked there.... and as I speak is now working on my Samsung Note Pro 12.2. I've not done anythng much with it yet, but will get back to you with anything I find.
Hope this is useful.
Blessings.
Okay... No Bluetooth. [Oops, correcton, Blue tooth *does* work.] No external sdcard. But very fast. Thanks and looking forward to usable version.

Thank you.
Yes, you are right, something wrong with the latest gapps. On p905 with latest gapps we are geting the same start wizard problem.
I finished the firmware late at night and had no time to check the different gapps.
Today will be full test and cleanup.

Remove sertupwizard from /system/priv-app to skip wizard. You can do it with twrp file manager

There is rallye no bit different betwene android 5.1.1 (cm12.1) and android 6.0.1 (cm13). The only one i really like is multi window. But still awesome work Valera.

The gapps link only goes up to 5.0 gapps. Don't we need 5.1?

I'm waiting to hear back to see if it works. The 5.0 gapps should work there were only minor changes to art in the 5.1, the other hooks should work since 5.1 was a minor update over all. If I stumble upon some 5.1 gapps I'll update.
Added a link for 5.1 gapps if the 5.0 don't work.
The current building doesn't work for one person, please share your results if you try

Camera was still an issue with the latest cm 12.0. More than likely it'll get fixed there before they get it working in 12.1. If they get it working.

Other than the camera the build boots just fine and seems pretty snappy/responsive. Can't say anything about battery life because i only had it installed long enough to test it out

Nope, camera was till broken on cm12.0 when I started building these
So I eked a build out of my server, I'm pushing it to google drive now. Just for reference if anyone was wondering. It takes approximately 5~6 hrs for a full build on a non hyperthreaded Intel core 2 duo with 8GB of ddr2 ram
I'm trying a new upload method that might allow for automated google drive uploads. Please verify the MD5 sum after downloading before flashing.

Glad that a developer started working on CM for P905 ☺
Thx a lot @Valera1978 for taking the time to make it happen
Will try it soon
Keep up the good work ?
Merry Christmass and Happy New Year to everybody!
Great News.
I just burnt this ROM (v2) and it’s great. Everything working great and fast so far.
Finally a ROM developed for this device. Thank you Valera1978.
I know this topic will be very busy after the hollydays, because half of the note pro owners have the Snapdragon version, and this ROM is great news for this crowd which was abandoned on their own untill now, but not anymore.
(OBS: mind you I have the SM-P905M, which is known to have a different modem hardware than the international SM-P905, so I didn’t expected to get LTE or 3G working, but I don’t use it anyway, because I thether from my phone, as most people do. Probably, in the future someone will figure out a way to burn the proper modem software for this particular version. Everything else is working great.)
Again, thanks Valera 1978.

After some tests i realized that i couldn't get video record working. Seems like the camera is recording, but looks like the video is not saved anywhere. I'll do some more testing. Photo is OK.
@Valera1978
Hey my friend, thanks for your excellent work!
However in the 26/12 I had lost the 3g/4g capability.. In fact, I have a message here saying that there is no simcard. By the way, my tablet is a p905m.. But I was using a p905 LP firmware without any problem.. and in 25/12 build, simcard was working flawlessly.. Any clue? When I check Mobile Network in settings, there is no option for GSM but only for CDMA.. Maybe that's the problem..
Once more, thanks!
Hello.
Thank's for your hard work. One question I have before I install it: What about root in this ROM ?
Many thanks...

Root is working flawlessly. The rom is awesome, smooth as butter, fast like a lighting.. stable so far.. impressive work that @Valera1978 did, kudos to him!
The only problem I faced so far is gsm network that is missing on this last rom. I got a missing sim card message.. besides that it's a like CM official release for sure. Thanks to @Valera1978
For those in P905M this rom is totally compatible with your tablet.
Just pick the 12/25 version that has Mobile Network completely functional if you cannot stand without it.. but you gonna be without sound until our beloved dev @Valera1978 fix it.
If you can go without Mobile Network and don't wanna stand without sound pick the last release.. you are good to go, however, without 3G/4G capability..
Hopefully our beloved dev gonna release us soon the best of both world, I mean, and fully functional and interchangeable rom for both P905 and P905M :good: :good: :good:
andrew. mackew, was you able to record an play the recorded video with the v2 (26/12)?
root is working ok for me, but su# was not installed automatically as usual in custom roms, so i installed it afterwards. I've just learned that su# is not really needed but it improves security by not granting root automatically to any app that requests root.
I was under the impression that sm-p905M and SM-P905 had different modem hardware, because i read it somewhere in the forum, and i could never get 3G/LTE woking on my 905M with a 905 Rom. Maybe that's the case for Latin America, where the 3g/4g frequencies are different from those used in USA. I'm not shure if the modem hardware is really different, if only the frequencies in Latin America are different or if it's all compatible despite the differences.

All P905 and P905M have interchangeable modem if the bootloader is from the same Android branch.. (KK, LP, MM... )
To have it working properly, you have to first update to the last P905M Lollipop firmware and only after that to flash the latest P905 Lollipop firmware.
You can use flashfire to do that. If for any reason you don't get to install the modem properly, you need to flash the modem tar or md5 file through Odin separately from the rest of the firmware.
Doing this, you are good to go to use the P905 firmware in a completely functional way. :good:
New build up!!!
Thanks @Valera1978! You're the best! :good: :good: :good:
Looking forward to have your builds become CM official! :good: :good: :good:

Hey, I didn't face such issue so far.
What is your modem version? Be sure to have the latest one (P905) installed and then try again.
The only issue so far is that IR is not working.. but for sure @Valera1978 is already looking over this.

Hey there bud. Great to know that there's still people out there working for the N3. This is a hopeless device, not even Lollipop support from Oppo despite being a flagship device once, so thanks a lot.
I'm currently on CM12.1 although the camera doesn't perform as well as on ColorOS and the fingerprint sensor doesn't work either, although pressing the button on the sensor does brightness up the screen and turn the capacitive buttons' light on when pressed.
Anyway, I'd love to try CM 13.0, but I'd want to know the major bugs on this release from you. Also, do let me know if I can be of any help. This is a beast of a device, let down by the abysmal software from Oppo. Will surely give it a shot if the bugs are bearable Thanks again for working on the N3!

Fingerprint/camera are mostly the same issues from cm12.1. I have not attempted device encryption yet, and I doubt our available twrp build would be able to decrypt. Other than that this build is pretty much fully functional. I have had a few intermittent issues with audio and touchscreen wakeup but mid kernel rebase so that will all get cleaned up shortly. I've actually been running this for 2 months trying to get camera working (just fixed a few days ago).

Okay, great to hear. I've done my bit of research on the N3's fingerprint sensor and I'm not sure if it would be helpful in trying to fix it or not, but do let me know if you'd want to hear about it
good to see that the device still gets cm13. Thanks for your great work.
you can check also the source for Lenovo ZUK Z1 they have the same processor and it has FS too.
How about the battery life? I am getting a worst battery life on CM 12.1

Both devices may have the same processor, but I doubt they use the same fingerprint sensor. The N3 uses the FPC1021, also used in the Gionee E8 and maybe the Lenovo Vibe X3 too. I wish we could somehow help OP in finding the sources/drivers for the FPC1021 fingerprint sensor
Okay, here's something very weird that happened yesterday. I started the camera by pressing the power button twice and the phone shut down by itself and then reboot. The phone was stuck in a bootloop. I could access TWRP, and I tried everything, right from factory resetting the phone to reflashing both, CM13 and CM12.1. Absolutely nothing helped, as the phone just couldn't go beyond the Oppo logo.
I had to install the stock Oppo recovery again in Fastboot mode, wipe the internal storage and reflash a boring ColorOS stock rom again. I'm still not sure what happened. 5 years of flashing experience and I've never known any simple system app function that could soft brick a phone so badly.
Looking forward to hearing from OP about this before I can get back to CM13, it would be great. Btw, CM13 was absolutely fantastic in the 20 minutes I could use it for before ending up with that vicious brick. Really looking forward to a more stable version. Keep up the great work, dev! Thanks!

Not happy to hear this but I've also never experienced it. Please keep in mind we are working off a massive kernel rebase to support 6.0 and things may not be ideal at times. I have been running 6.0 on N3 for a few months now but only in the last week have I had the camera functional.
Also fwiw the stock colorOS rom should flash in the newer TWRP builds, I made sure that worked myself.
Without some kind of log I'm at a loss as to what happened here. If any randomish reboot happens I need /proc/last_kmsg to have any chance of deciphering why it rebooted.
Thanks a lot for your response, bud. The N3 is my daily driver, so I couldn't mess around too much. I waited for a bit, then flashed stock ColorOS right away, because I need the phone, especially on this busy weekend. I think I was using an older version of TWRP, so I'm not sure whether that could be a problem either. I'm going to try and get back on CM 13 sometime today, and see how it goes this time.
Once again, thanks a ton for working on this phone. I thought it was completely dead. Oppo are really bad at supporting any devices except the Find 7. Let me know if I can help in any way, I'd be more than happy to be of any help
This may be a silly question Jason, but I see all these new builds popping up on your website for the N3, but I can't seem to find any kind of a nightly changelog on either cmxlog.com or even review.cyanogenmod.org. Is there any way we could perhaps see what changes are being made?

Got the same problem here. There was CM12 before, and ColorOS. But after flashing CM13 and that error, i cant flash any AOSP roms. Just ColorOS. And got permanent wifi and proximity sensor issues. They doesn't work anymore, even after flashing stock clean chinese ColorOs rom. Don't even know, what to do...
Got the same problem, can't boot up now nor flashing cm 12.1 back, only coloros works now and without wifi. We need a fix as i can't stand the poor coloros.
---------- Post added at 01:22 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:16 PM ----------
So guys I've found a temporary wifi fix, you need to copy some files from the coloros zip to the /persist folder using root Explorer, works for me, but still not a permanent fix.
Sounds good) What files?
And check please all sensors, such as proximity, light, and others. there are a lot of programms in google play for cheking that.
To get wifi working, follow these steps :
**YOU NEED A ROOT **
1. Extract this file to get the 4 needed files.
2. Using root Explorer , copy the extracted files to /persist folder in root directory.
3. Select all the files after copying and select permission.
4. Make the permissions as rw-r-r--
5. Try to switch on wifi multiple times until it works.
**IMPORTANT**
Rebooting the device will deletes the files from /persist folder and wifi will not work again until you repeat the steps , don't know why, but it is a temporary fix and works with no issues.
Man, you are the best! And what about sensors?
And where did you find this solution?

Hallo Rahimali
Thanks for the share. I have tried this and apparently works ok. I'm unable to get WiFi working. Tried different gapps but there are force close issues. Any recommended gapps versions available?
Opengapps usually does the job. Flashing gapps with marshmallow is different than with prior android versions. With MM you have to flash gapps immediately after you flash the ROM (before booting up the ROM for the first time). Try and see if that resolves your FC issues
Updated to April 02, 2016 build!
I managed to get the force close issues resolved. Everything works fine except Wifi. I am unable to enable wifi as the button is greyed out. I tried enabling wifi from terminal using svc wifi enable, it enabled the button but wouldnt detect any available wireless networks. Any fixes for this?

My XT907 is showing that my bootloader is "0x109B" and I am unsure what version of TWRP supports 6.0.1 (currently running 2.8.6.0)
Can anyone verify their settings and let me know?
I am running CM12.1 currently, so I should be able to dirty flash correct?

Are there any significant reasons to stay on the KitKat bootloader? Otherwise I'll just downgrade now that I'm rooted with an unlocked bootloader.
One of the most compelling reasons to stick with the KKBL would be the availability of the 3.4x kernel as opposed to the 3.0x kernel on the JBBL but feel free make your own decision. I was on the JBBL (by choice) for a considerable length of time without any apparent side effects...

Confirmed Working!
Can confirm this works, flashed the recovery included in the 4pda post, used it to flash the rom, gapps, and supersu. Initially booted up in Russian, but after waiting for 30 seconds or so, switched to English on its own. Setup was flawless after that, no issues to report as of now. Anyone that needs help installing the rom or downgrading from kitkat to jellybean just message me.
I thought I was the only one that ended up with default language in Russian... All the previous builds defaulted to English on install... Also when I downloaded the latest update it downloaded on my phone as a .bin not a .zip I checked the file size and contents vs what is online (after changing the extension to .zip) and everything seemed to be Ok so I installed and been up and running on latest version for 24 hours....
Had a few FC's in the beginning while changing the language to English (I have a feeling that some of my already installed apk's caused the issue) . I did do a test run before restoring my stuff and didn't have any issues during initial setup and the phone auto corrected language based off sim during initial setup.
Haven't gotten a chance to fully test this build, but I know that the issue that I was having with the native tethering soft rebooting the phone every couple of hours when active is gone! After a few more days of messing with it I will post any other issues that I come across

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL]LineageOS 14.1-Android Nougat[Security Patch: August 5, 2020][TITAN]

Hello everyone,
I still have Moto g 2nd Gen. as my main device, but as everyone knows, the Android Nougat is not being maintained by anyone else, in the desire to have the most up-to-date security patches for my device, I compiled the source code of LineageOS, and I'm making it available here.
I intend to continue updating unofficially, and without prediction (I will do this when I have time for it).
This is my first compilation and it works well for me, I hope it can work well for you too.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY ANY DEVICES, DO EVERYTHING AT YOUR OWN RISK.
How to install:
Install like any ROM.
Download the .ZIP from rom:
August 5, 2020 (security patch): https://mega.nz/file/cJY03QiB#AgZ0jK0vBn9HyW1Bv-BgQYGMKKE4rYD0kgCDP_oAndc
Download GApps (if you use it): https://opengapps.org/ (I recommend GApss PICO).
And flash ROM + GApps + Magisk (optional).
Magisk link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445

I'm not a developer, so if something doesn't work for you, unfortunately don't expect me to fix it. Everything is going well on my device.

There was a security patch that had not yet been merged.

I built a new build and I'm making it available here.
I will also update the main post, but I will leave the previous link, in case anyone has any problems with this update.

I could see a periodization of these updates at the beginning of each month. I don't know if this is standardized, but if so, then you should see an update here just next month.
Due to the fact that I took the "walking boat" we ended up having these updates so close to each other, but now we should only have monthly updates.
Same schema, link here, and in the main post, keeping the links from previous builds.
I hope it works as well for you as it works for me

Hi, guys! My Titan is in PE Pie and I'm not happy with it. Lag and stuff! Is LOS 14.1 stable and lag-free? Can it be used as daily driver? Any major bug I should be aware of? Thank for your hard work!
@CLPose, for daily use you should stay on Nougat. I run it without GApps and found no bugs. Lags neither, as long as I stay on internal memory. And actual patches are very nice.
I flashed it today. Working fine so far. Much better than the other ROMs I tested. Thanks!
Thank you all for the feedback!
@CLPose I'm glad you decided to test it and it's working well for you!
Like @rp158 said, I also do not use GApps services, for two reasons: A little less tracking and because it is an old device, which works more fluidly without GApps, I use MicroG + FDroid + Aurora Store. Of course, this comes at a price (location services don't work very well, some paid apps don't work, and some others don't work without Google services). If interested, you can read more here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-nanomod-5-0-20170405-microg-t3584928
I'm releasing another build, with the July patches. -> https://review.lineageos.org/c/LineageOS/android_build/+/280669
Note: As much as I don't use GApps, I always test the builds with them, to see if everything is going well.
I hope it continues to work for you.

Very nice ROM. Flashed it on my old testing Titan and was astonished, good battery (for such an old device),very stable and even with gapps (pico) faster than a lot of other "professional" ROMs.
Good work!
I am having internet drops connected to wifi. I will keep looking to see how it continues since I saw that in the official lineage post they had some the same problem, I will test solutions and as a last a total reinstallation from the stock fireware. If something similar happened to someone, I accept advice, thanks in advance.
With respect to the rest of the Rom it runs very well and fluidly, I am testing without Gapps and it is a gem, later I will try installing pico, for now it has very good fluidity beyond installing some heavy apps and with services that consume a lot of resources for a cell phone of this generation. anyway thanks.

The wifi error was mine when I misassigned the static ip. I installed the gapps and the phone was freezing a lot. But without these it is the most fluid I have seen with any rom so far.
Thank you dude!
I use this rom for daily use and works like a charm!
Thank you for all the updates :good:

@Wolfcity I'm glad you decided to install the rom and liked it !!!
@AkioBrian I'm glad you solved the problem with WiFi and that the rom is working well for you too. And really, GApps is kind of complicated to use ... It's already a very old device, you can even use it with GApps, but the slowness most bothers me and I realized that it bothers you too Hahaa 'No more, I'm happy! : D
 @pesamurai Thanks for the feedback!!! : D
